Took my Classic 72 Camaro there and had it repainted to a different color. Price was great and quality was even better. That was 8 years ago and paint still looks brand new. I take too place at almost all shows I enter and everyone is always complementing me on how good the paint looks. read more

I came to Pro Auto Collision for a car repair after an accident. They were prompt in picking up car from the tow yard and let me know right away away when they had it in and was going over the damage. This had me believing this would be an easy and painless process. I dont hear back for a few days so I check with my insurance adjuster and am informed that my car wouldn't be ready until next month (a little over 2 and a half weeks from this conversation). I found this odd as the damage to my car wants sever and figured parts had to be ordered. I get a rental and go about my business as usual. The due date finally arrives so I call in to make sure my car would be ready that day. I get an obscure answer saying the work isn't done and it might be ready today but likely not. I ask for a callback to make sure so I can make plans to either get my car or arrange a ride to work as I've had the rental for longer than i intended to. I received a call back late that afternoon informing me that would car would not be ready by the deadline causing issues getting to work the next work day and picking it after work as most everyone is gone at 5pm. I finally make it back to pick up my car and I find my brakes were not responding well and my passenger blinker wasn't working at all. I make it home and called to let them know I was coming back the next day. Upon my arrival I talk to one of the techs and he looked at the light and found the bulb had died and replaced it. He was also able to fix my brake issue as there was too much brake fluid in the system however he claimed nothing was wrong. The fact that I almost slid past the corner where the shop is located because of this says there was very much an issue. The real issue started on my next attempt to go to work. Turn the ignition, screen lights up for a fraction of a second and cuts out not even attempting to turn over. I call in again asking if something could've gone wrong. I get immediate denial of any possibility there could be an issue and that it was a maintenance issue they aren't responsible for. I'm at this point adamant for them to at least look as I was tired of the run around and phone tag. The timing of this was just too uncanny to just say its a coincidence without asking first. At this point I'm tired of arguing and my girlfriend takes the phone. They immediately talk down to her as if she knows nothing about cars ( both her father and grandfather were mechanics and she is more knowledgable than most average people about cars). Didn't make a difference to these guys they assume she knows nothing because she's a woman. She became infuriated and then finally "as a courtesy" sent someone out to look at my car that day. It turned out to be same guy that was talking down to her over the phone but had changed his tune now there was a face to face interaction. He became polite and was generous enough to have a spare battery on his truck. He did find the battery was ending its life added to be replaced. Despite this result I cannot get past the missed deadline and general attitude towards women as unintelligent. This techs going the extra mile when finally coming out is what is getting this review up to a 1 star. However I do not recommend this auto shop to anyone looking for a 1 trip resolution or to any women as this company clearly displays an unmasked air of misogyny. read more

Pro Auto Collision is what I know them as, same address as Pro Auto Sales & Service. I'm pretty hard to please, explained that to the owner when I got an estimate for collision repairs. I got estimates from 3 different body shops in the Conway area, Pro Auto was priced between the other two. Other guy's insurance was paying for the repairs so price wasn't my primary concern. After meeting with all of the body shops, we decided on Pro Auto. I'm pleased with their work, even as particular as I am. However they had my car for 31 days. Insurance paid for a rental thankfully, there was a Christmas/New Years holiday, and 2 ice storms while they had my car, so I cut them some slack on the excessive amount of time my car was there. They did an okay job of keeping me up to date on their progress. I got at least 1 call a week, sometimes 2. I had an original repair time estimate of 2 weeks. There were then 2 more finish dates that came and went after that. Had I been paying for my own rental that might have been an issue. In their defense, they did a stellar job on the paint, there are absolutely zero visual clues of any damage or body work. They even admitted to taking extra time for my particular car due to me telling them of my high expectations. Their work comes with a lifetime warranty, the owner told me if I ever have any problems just give them a call. They came pretty well recommended from several other acquaintances in the area as well. They'd be at the top of my list for body shops in the Conway area were I to ever need one again. read more

I took my wife's van in to Pro Auto to get a fender replaced and bumper repaired after a friend backed backed into it. I dropped it off first thing it the morning, not expecting to see it for at least a day, but was pleasantly surprised when I received a phone call later that afternoon saying it was done. Turns out my van had been painted by a previous owner a slightly different color of silver compared to stock, which I didn't know going into the ordeal or I could have let the guys at the shop know from the beginning. Even so, one of the owners came out and met with me personally, and explained the process they took to try their best to match the existing color -- repainting it multiple times, trying to get it right. I could tell he was sincere and wanted to do work that would please me and that they could be proud of, and it bothered him that it wasn't perfect for me. I knew, however, it was nearly impossible for them to do a perfect match on a paint color when they have no information about it other than what they could see. It's a 10 year old van anyway, so I wasn't going to sweat it. They did a great job blending the new silver color on the fender with the existing silver on the damaged area of the bumper to match and make it less noticeable, which kept me from needing a new bumper too. The people I dealt with were courteous and personable, and the office and shop were cleaner and nicer than almost all the other body shops I've seen. I'll definitely go return if the need arises. read more
