My house is a relatively small home (1500 sqft). Pro Attic (Amy ) helped me to get a very competetive quote; (Joe) helped me understand what are some of my issues and their solutions which aligned with my research. Then there was the installation crew who wrestled excellent (Stevan, Rolando, Johnny, William, Jose and Roberto). These guys were friendly, hard working, through - bottom line they did a quality job. At multiple phases of the job they stopped and allowed me to review the job. I am no expert but the guys would take the time to explain things to me. When I realized my garage was not going to be insulated the entire team went out of their way to get me more insulation to ensure the job is completed to my needs. I would highly recommend them for your home.

After discovering mold growing out of one of our vents, we used Angie's List to call 5 companies…read morefor quotes. TakeAir was the only company that took several pictures of the vent and actual AC unit. Avi sat and talked with my husband and I about the problem, explained our options, and pricing, including warranties. They had the longest warranties for their services, which gave use the impression that they back their work. We scheduled with them on Thanksgiving (yes, they were available for us to contact with any questions). They came out Sunday and worked diligently from 10:30am-3pm. They covered our furniture and belongings to ensure that it wouldn't get dirty. They took our vents off and washed them, cleaned the boxes, intakes, ducts and unit. After washing, they sanitized and installed the UV light system to prevent the problem from occurring again. They cleaned up afterwards. The smell of our house is wonderful after they used their organic solution. We are extremely pleased from the initial call, schedule for quote, questions, schedule for job, and actual job. Highly recommend!!

Safe Air Houston, Salesman Duane are a Godsend let me tell you. I had to replace a brand new, 14…read moremonth old Carrier 2-ton AC for my 2100 square foot home due to the unit being too small and in the heat of the day, set for 75 was every bit of 80 until 11pm before it cooled down again. The unit never cycled off and ran 20 hours a day, leaving me huge energy bills. I needed a 4-ton AC, my cheap builder didn't think so!! I entertained several estimates from well known AC companies and not so well known such as Safe Air Houston. Everyone was $12K-$20K and doing their best to up sale me. Not Safe Air Houston, they gave a military discount and their price was...lets just say lower than $10K. They did not try to up sale me at all. Duane's installation time were fast, efficient and professional. They covered the area with blankets and cleaned up their mess. They were in and out in a little over 4 hours. Now I can actually hear and feel the cold pleasant air blowing. I've been here 14 months and have never heard the air blow. In the heat of the day, the temp in the house is 73 and the unit is cycling off!! I would have never fathomed 73 was possible when outside Houston temp is 104!! We can walk around our home now and not have damp foreheads, we can turn on the oven during the day and not regret it, and I'm sure this next energy bill is going to start to decline thanks to Safe Air.

BUYER BEWARE this company is run by some of the worst management I have ever come in contact with…read more We had a new unit and all new ductwork installed on June 5th of this year and since then the unit has been excessively sweating, freezing up several times, and causing water damage in our attic. The unit itself has been corrected, however the new "duct design" by Safe Air is not compatible with the Trane variable speed unit (we verified this with a Trane Comfort Specialist). Since install we have had multiple conversations with the owner of the company who has screamed at us, told us that water coming into our home from the ducts is out of his scope, and he is now non-responsive to Trane and TDLR (the agency that allows him to be licensed in Texas). We have requested multiple times that he come and remove all of his equipment from our home and refund us and he has denied to do this.

He said we didn't need a lot of the "upsell" in the other quote. Ben showed me what he thought we needed versus not; he took a lot of pictures and sent them to me. He also added a couple of minor items to his quote at no charge. On the day, Pedro (technician, young guy, very sharp) called ahead to let me know that he and a helper (didn't get his name) were inbound. They got in and out quickly. Pedro showed me what they'd done and explained. He took lots of pictures and a couple of videos and sent them to me. Ben dropped by to check on things. I asked Pedro if Top Star also did HVAC work (our longtime guy retired). He said no but he'd send me a name. I've put them on my calendar for biennial (every two years) maintenance visits.

The Office workers where unprofessional, Did not return phone calls about my concerns before instillation. However managed to call me four times After instillation the same day, to pay for the job that was already paid for. Accused me of giving them a wrong email address when i clearly had emails from them. It was on a Sunday 2/22/26 so I am not sure if the office worker was drunk or just incompetent. After i walked her through how to do her job on the third call I think she was able to get everything figured out and was able to stop calling me for support. I would definitely recommend going with a different company to avoid the Office incompetence that is going on there. I have a gas HVAC unit that i now can't use the heat on because I now have an enclosed attic that uses gas heating. They failed to install the conversion kit for the HVAC system. Leaving me to die from carbon monoxide poisoning. I am now also having humidity problems in my attic. Having way to much moisture. Humidity is typically around 80% and it isn't even winter. causing roof rot and mold very soon. Update: After making an appointment to come and fix my roof that they damaged, it never occurred to them to make sure they had roofers to do the job i guess. After I texted them when they missed their appointment window I was called and told they couldn't come. Wasting most of my Sunday. No consideration for my time. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
