My girl friend and my self recently bought glocks from this store. It was a pretty decent experience, but they forced us into buying about $600 in accessories so they could "stay in business" which i felt okay with. After we recieved our firearms, the only ammo they had available was reloads, at $1 a round which isn't cheap at all. So i bought 100 rounds to sight in with, and my girlfriend bought 600 rounds. We went shooting on some private property, i have two no fires, and multiple weapons malfunctions shooting these reloads. I believe it was from them being short on powder and not having enough kick to eject the shells properly. I fired all but ten rounds, sighted in my glock and have ten rounds for self defense god prevent... my girlfriend sighted her pistol with about 90 rounds as well and was planning on getting her ccw with the rest. However these reloads malfunction so much they are useless for anything more than shooting tin cans and getting pissed off as every 1-2 shots causes a malfunction. My girlfriend went down with her glock and reloads and asked them for a refund, they loaded her pistol in the back and fired one shot, said she has a limp wrist, and wants video evidence of the malfunctions.... in all my four years of service in the army, ive never heard of a weapons malfunction due to a limp wrist. Hell i have even seen iraq children fire ak 47s with zero weapon malfunctions, talking 5-6 year olds. Her daughter never had a weapons malfunction with shooting either. I wish they would put at least enough powder in their reloads to eject and camber a new round, instead of barely enough to get the lead down the 4" barrel.... read more

Where to begin. Well the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Walked in and they greeted me and offered to show me their inventory. I was only there to window shop as I was not trying to buy anything. Then Jeff the owner came out and started showing me their handguns as his staff was also attending other customers. I bought my handgun on black Friday and when I went in to pick up my mp shield 9mm after the 10 days was up. I was given a check for the purchase of my firearm. On the 9th day, I called regarding an advertisement they had on their Facebook about a lower receiver and got into an argument with one of them (Jeff). Jeff and I got into a heated conversation over the phone to see if he would honor that price. He went off on me and did he expect me to sit there and listen, he'll no. No one would put up with that kind of disrespect and attitude. Called him today to see why I was refunded for the purchase of the firearm when it was already purchased and the 10 days waiting was over and the sales was final. He couldn't give me any reasons...Jeff wanted to be a badass over the phone and he got one. I'll be filing a complaint with DOJ and BBB for his poor services. PRK has a variety of pistols to choose from, but I was searching for a Glock. I checked out prices of 6 other shops (including Brecos, Mayfields, Mcormicks...) and PRK had them beat by a lot. I'm unsure if I can display my savings, but let me hint that it was in the triple digits. They also stock a wall display of firearms that you may not see anywhere else in Fresno (and possibly the central valley). You will probably leave there drooling (especially you COD: Modern Warefare fan-boys). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They had no problems answering my questions, whether it was simple or complicated. Every time I went to PRK to do my business, it felt like everyone else who were there are loyal repeat customers who know they have something good going on. Give them a try, drool all over their toys... then go home preparing a speech for the wifey with an explanation on why you just bought a FAL, AR-15, AK47, and a SCAR. P.S. I wanted to share my short experience with PRK. I went to PRK during the whole "assault weapon ban" shenanigan last year. There was a line of customers out the door. It was jammed pack. I waited patiently and was soon helped by an employee. I asked him if they had a Colt le6920 in stock and how much. Well, they did have it in stock, but wanted $3000 for it. Jesus christ. I left and never returned since. If you are willing to price gouge your customers (especially during a time of need), then you do not deserve our business. Completely different experience this time than last time around. Other than the lag time standing at the counter before we were acknowledged . Our experience was totally different . We were two gun savvy women walking into this man cave, yet unlike last time there were no raised eyebrows, posturing or minimalizing our intelligence . My daughter is a pilot and I am a real estate broker we have both respected and been well-versed on guns since we were kids. She was California State Trapshooting champion in 2003. They knew none of this and we were treated with equality and respect by Nathan. Not only was there a very large assortment of handguns both for self defense and hobbyists but the prices were much lower than most other places in Fresno. They had a plethora of semi-automatic rifles and very knowledgeable about the types of ammunition. I actually went in there to try to make a decision about a conceal and carry weapon and was able to make my decision thanks to Nathan showing me the benefits of a Sig P-238. I went in on three separate occasions. They have ignored, cussed out, and blatantly disrespected not only me but my own Father and one of my very close friends. My friend ended up buying a gun from them, mostly because he has no dignity or a solid backbone, and my Dad has bought a few from them in the past(but never again after our last visit) and I myself refuse to give my hard earned money to a group of people who don't deserve my business. I actually saved money on a brand new gen 3 Glock 22 they special ordered for me. If you need a handgun and know exactly what you want I strongly recommend checking them out first. Went to the Visalia location. Service and selection was excellent. Even though it was my first gun and I had a lot of stupid question they were patient and respectful. It was busy and a lot of potential customers were there, but they gave me the time I was entitled to. I purchased a Sig Sauer and they walked me through the paperwork. And if my sales rep didn't have the answer to a specific question they took the time to go ask someone. And I agree with the other post on it being busy. I went on a random Friday at noon, and I was there for a couple hours looking at everything, as well as doing the paperwork. Over a 2 hour period, on a Friday I saw probably 20-30 people come in at some point. Most were just looking with only a few buying. But everyone was very nice. read more

Went by PRK today to see if they carry Ruger Vaquero single action in stock because Ruger listed them as a dealer. What a mistake and waste of gas. They didn't greet me and there were three employees and two customers in the entry area. When I inquired about the gun they were prompt to let me know they don't and won't carry in stock because it is special order only. I asked if there was anything similar to the feel of the Vaquero and was told they had two Ubertis. They handed me one and said not cock if or fire it. When I opened the gate to visually clear and roll the cylinder their employees got rather rude told me not do that. When I explained I was visually checking the gun to verify it was unloaded I was told even more rudely that all of their guns were unloaded. PRK - I don't care if you can swear on a stack of Bibles that you have never even had ammo in your store, I am still going to verify a gun is unloaded when it is handed to me. Very glad that I told them that because they jumped on me about spinning the cylinder I didn't think they were the place to do business. They agreed. I left. Total time spent in store - 2 Minutes. Walked in to PRK today ready to spend money. Saturday is probably their busiest day so it was no suprise their store was packed. 2 lines with about 8 to 9 people per line. That's not counting the endless amount of people coming in with appointments- they go to the front, obviously. After 45 minutes in line, I walked out without even getting close to the counter. The reason?? They only had 2 yes 2 employees working...what a joke. I imagine the 2 grand I was going to drop along with the money from the others who left without being helped could have funded another 3 or 4 employees for the day. PRK is poorly managed and as a result lost my business and many others. I feel bad for the 2 employees working as they don't even have time to catch their breath.
