This was supposed to be a special treat for my nine-months-pregnant daughter-in-law -- instead, it was an absolute disappointment. The service we paid for wasn't even provided, and what was done was sloppy and careless, with polish smeared all over her toes. I called immediately to complain and was told they'd "speak to the technician" and get back to me. That never happened. No apology, no resolution, no respect for their customers. It's unacceptable to take someone's money, fail to deliver the service, and then ignore them. We will not be returning. After several days I never received the promised follow-up call after the manager talked to so called "technician". I called and he indicated what had occurred was not true and offered no apology. read more

Got a princess manicure for my daughter and a regular manicure for myself. Mine started chipping later that day. The technicians were kind. The manager was rude. I'm not sure why the children's manicure was called a princess manicure because it was just a manicure with nothing special-- which would be fine if advertised as such. read more

Great service, as a runner I appreciate a nail salon they do acrylic toenails...iykyk Call for same day appointments is a bonus too.

I went today and it was the worst manicure ever. My cuticles were bleeding and it was painful. I was supposed to have gel and left because it was so uncomfortable. This used to be a good place to go. read more

I was 10 min late to an appointment and just missed the call from the manager. I understand I was late and would have been perfectly fine if he had told me that due to my late arrival, they would have to reschedule me. However, he was rude off the bat and annoyed that I didn't answer the phone call. He said that he had a big party coming in afterward and again, I would have been fine if they would have shortened my time. Unfortunately, he was so off putting that I decided that it wasn't even worth my time and business. read more

Just paid 70 dollars for a "dip manicure with soak off" that was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My nails look so bad, not enough coats of the powder were applied so you can see through it. The entire process took 25 minutes and started with her peeling off my old dip manicure with a fake nail, i have never not had them soaked off. I am so disappointed and my nail tech was so rude that I didn't even bother asking her to fix anything. I prefer not to deal with confrontation while I am paying for a service and it was clear she wasn't happy I was there. 70 bucks and a tip later I hope I can save someone else from having such a terrible experience and having to pay for it!!!! Total bummer. read more

I called to make a same-day appointment and they were able to get me in right away. Kevin was very gentle and I was never pressured to get any additional services. I had a pedicure with Ken. He was very thorough and caring. Great foot massage. Hi was very good!!

So disappointed!! The dip is so thick it looks ridiculous. Then he used the wrong color dip and decided to paint gel over it AFTER I said it was the wrong color!! He made the mistake of the color then charged the price of the gel when it was his fault!! I am so disappointed and embarrassed with how my nails look!! I will not be returning or sending anyone to this place!!! ADDENDUM: If I could give negative stars I would! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HUMILIATED AND SCREAMED AT BY MANAGEMENT!!! After being upset with the manicure the salon offered to fix which I was very happy for, however when I got there I was yelled at by the manager and told it was my fault it was messed up. When I told them after being yelled at I just wanted a refund the manager preceded to come to my face and yell at me more in front of the entire salon about how dare I ask for a refund. I completely shut down and was crying in front of other customers and was humiliated, yet I remained extremely respectful and was never rude. Another tech tried to apologize for his behavior and I told her she did not need to apologize for his behavior and it was not her fault. I would have been happy with staying and fixing things until I was screamed at like a child and completely humiliated!!! A business should not be run this way. read more

Several negative experiences. I do not recommend it; the service is poor quality, the manager is disrespectful, the gel or regular manicure is poor quality, and just 2/1/2 days after the service, the color comes off, the manager gets upset, and they mistreat the clients. It's very unfortunate to pay money and lose it due to bad service and zero quality control. They should learn how to treat neighborhood and adjacent customers. Now I understand such bad reviews. read more

Yikes! Really is not a clean space! I would think they are required to be inspected. I scheduled a manicure and massage. I got a mini manicure and no massage. Thankfully she didn't charge me for it. absolutely do not go here. I went twice. the gel peels off at a week old and the dip powder comes off at the same time. I was so mad at the lack of shape and lack of shine on the dip, the lady did gel polish on-top of my dip charged me extra to make it shiny but this is not needed if you know how to do gel. I compared pictures to yelp reviews and they do not seal the cuticle right it's left bumpy and rough. They don't shape the nail after rounded off to look like a batural shaped nail. They leave it FLAT. I could've done better dip powder at home. sadly wasted about $100 in a month. now my nails are weak and sore. thanks. read more

I've always loved the people here. I think they do an awesome job. I went to Anthony Vince, their sister company until it closed during COVID. I think they do the best manicures and pedicures around. Today was also excellent service but I really think ownership needs to cancel the mask mandates. Customers and employees should be able to decide for themselves at this point Most of us have been vaccinated if not, then you roam the world at your own risk. Even the CDC doesn't require it anymore. So lighten up Anthony! Live and let live CEO! 5 stars for the employees! One star for the dictator CEO who thinks he knows better than we'd do! read more

Came here a few times since I live in Crocker and it's a hit or miss. I've had a good nail tech here and there but overall disappointed with my experience. Front desk was so rude to me despite being a luxury nail salon - that alone will be the reason I don't return. I've given them multiple chances but I'm so disappointed how I was treated and feel like my services are get worse. Update: just got dip done 48 hours ago and it's already chipping despite me not doing anything strenuous to my nails. Dip powder nails should not chip this easily and should last at least 2 weeks. read more

Paid $80 for a fill...only to get this. Splotchy & uneven with a base that does not even come close to matching my original. I have never had pink and white ombré done with an airbrush and I 0/10 do not recommend. Also for $80 I would expect cuticle oil to be put on my nails afterwards. Very disappointing service read more

Not sure why all the bad reviews!! I had a great experience. Walked in for a pedicure, and they fit me in within 30 mins. Good massage, no attempts to upsell the service, and my manicurist was nice and polite, but not too chatty which I prefer. Will definitely be coming back! read more

$55 pedicure with three different opportunities for massage and yet no massage at all. On top of that, tech was very rough with feet, filed nails down so low they hurt now, and all my toes are red and inflamed. I will be dealing with infections as a result. The front desk is always talking and never greet me when I'm standing there in a timely manner. The woman who did my acrylic manicure didn't give me the manicure because she said it was too much money for me to pay?? I wanted it! She was on her phone almost the whole time answering calls and texting people. She also ruined a nail and was pissed that she ruined it and yelled at me for it! COMPLETELY RUDE STAFF!!!!!! This place needs to close down. Poor customer service!!!!! More like terrible customer service!! Very rude to customers! Also nobody who works here knows how to speak on the phone or schedule appointments. I had an appointment at 1 PM for a mani/pedi for my daughter and I. We showed up 15 minutes early, The lady said you don't have an appointment until 2:30 and no one can see you right now. What is the point of having an appointment? We had somewhere to be at 3 o'clock and was not able to do a 2:30 appointment which is why we had a 1 PM appointment. Like I said they don't know how to schedule appointments. Then three people at the front desk were all arguing in another language language, like seriously? Prive Crocker Park needs to close for the safety of everyone. My daughter and I left because my daughter noticed how mean everyone was and did not want to be there. We went to another salon who is very courteous, kind and has great customer service. Check out sage nails, they really have it together there. Lastly, why does a business ask you to wear a mask but they themselves do not wear a mask? Especially the girls at the front never have their masks on. Not only will multiple complaints be made to the CDC but also complaints will be made to Stark Enterprise, the management at Crocker Park. This nail salon and employees need to have their license taken away, that is if they even have a valid license. Christine- it was a 1pm appointment!!!! Learn to schedule!!!! read more

First to start the people were rude. I came with 3 other people and we all got the same thing. After I had my hands drying I noticed the white from the front of my nails has gone all over the rest of my nail so I went and asked if they could fix it. As I asked them to fix it the woman at the front desk rolled her eyes and said ha of course she wants it re-done. As she said it she had said it in a sassy bratty voice. The workers were very bratty and sassy. They tried to do each thing very poorly and did not put any effort to it. As which now it hasn't even been 9 hours and my toes have already chipped. Worst $190 spent. Would never recommend this place. Not even to my dog. read more

NOT a good experience at all to say the least!! For starters, their prices were DOUBLE all other places I have gone. Paid $120 for a single nail salon visit. Secondly, he cut my nails WAY DOWN! Two days after my visit, the polish started to peal off. I returned, they redid them saying they give a 2week guarantee. Again, two days later they chipped. Went back, got somewhat of an attitude, but they redid them. Again, two days later and 3 nails were chipped. I've NEVER had this problem elsewhere! I went back again and got a major attitude problem this time. He said, "I don't have time for you!" This time saying it's a 1week guarantee not 2weeks. This salon is not close to me. It's a huge inconvenience to drive here. Between my gas and my wasted time it's not worth it. I'm not going back ever again! read more

My friend and I went in to get our nails done, we showed them our simple design and they refused to do it (picture attached of what i requested). My sister and I had a great experience here! The nail shape I like can be a bit tricky, as I have smaller fingers and I like a short coffin shape, many salons don't do it as well as I would like, but this tech made it look easy. My sister was really happy with her shape as well. All the nails look even and match shape! A little pricey, but worth it, great color selection and I'm very impressed with my nails. read more

I would first like to share that i get a gel manicure & pedicure every 3 weeks. I've been going to Anthony Vince nail salon for about a year now, and i cannot begin to tell you how disappointed i am in the service i received today. Me and my friend: spent $160 in both our services plus we both got a drink. I got a blueberry martini which was good but it wasn't in a martini glass. Which i found weird like why wouldn't y'all tell me it isn't in a martini glass i probably would've had a cocktail instead. Anyways. I got signature pedicure and my nail tech had the nerve to ask me if i wanted the grater done to my feet, which i think is unprofessional, like if i am paying for a service obviously i want it all done, no matter how much times i come here i want it done. Just lazy. Next, i like my toes & nails cut in an oval shape, very short, and also I get decals on two of my fingers. I shows the nail teach exactly how i wanted my nails done, from a previous gel manicure i received. With the decals and everything. The nail tech was STRUGGLING to put these sticker decals on my nail's, the final result is bad. I am not going to lie. It isn't smooth, and some of the sticker is sticking out, which means in a couple days or so they will start to chip. I even changed me wanting them on my middle finger to my thumb to make it easier for the nail tech. Her co workers seen her struggling and just watched as she tried to do this and didn't offer any assistance. I know i am high maintenance, but let's get this understood, this is prive, a luxury nail salon, y'all charge expensive prices, me as a customer wants the best service done! So disappointed in the experience. I mean the nail tech was cool, but i just feel like she should work at a different nail salon. I understand it's a pandemic, but where is the work ethic to provide good service. Tsk tsk. read more

I'll start by saying the staff is very friendly. I came in first thing on Sunday when they only do walk-ins and was greeted immediately. I also was taken right away and offered a drink since they just opened and have an open bar. I tried out a the dip powder manicure because they didn't have acrylic that day. The guy doing my nails was nice, but not very talkative. The whole session lasted about an hour and a half. He had trouble gluing on the top of the fake nails and put one on crooked. Three days after getting them done, 4 nails popped clean off. I tried to schedule another appointment to get them redone. They wanted to just glue the old nail back on. They wouldn't make any room on their schedule for me to get the nails completely redone until the next week. They have a two week policy that if something happens to the nails, I can come in and get them done free of charge. I payed $50 for a manicure that lasted 4 days and couldn't get fixed right away. I will NOT be returning. read more

I hadn't been here in 3 years and went back because I had to cancel my normal appointment elsewhere. Everyone who works here is very nice but I remember why I stopped going there. The quality of their product is terrible. I usually get a dip manicure and it lasts me 3 weeks. My prive dip lasted 8 days and my nails are all chipped. It also costed $20 more. Unless a dire emergency, I won't go back. read more

Is it an option to give 0 stars? Twice I have made appointments for my daughters' for pedicures and twice they have been taken advantage of by the staff at this nail spa. When your pedicure is going to be 25 minutes in length they should call that a polish change. When I complained and explained that now I feel we have been taken advantage of twice and that I would be sharing this with others, and ultimately asked for a partial or full refund, the gentleman was rude and stated clearly that "you can do whatever you want to do...your service is done." Wow! Not really a service oriented sentiment. Well....I can assure you that this family of females will NEVER step foot in this salon again. I hope someone really heeds the warning here- save yourself and be treated appropriately at Avon Nail Salon or elsewhere. read more

Where to begin.. for starters the lady Tina that did my nails was EXTREMELY rude. She was playing on her phone half the time. Yelling at me to relax even though I was relaxed and the only time I tensed up was when she was almost cutting my fingers with tools. She put the nails on a few fingers crooked. There are several chunky spots on nails, which that happens I understand but this girl was rushing to get it done. She did not want to take her time or care about her work. When she did the coloring on my nails she never cleaned up around the nails. I had to scrub them when I got home and still have glue and color on them. Overall I'd say the problem with this place is the nail techs not caring at all. The desk ladies were super kind and helpful but something needs to change with techs. read more

Prive Nail Spa - Shotty work at best. - Skin Care Near Me - Westlake, Ohio

I'm disappointed I have to type this review however this business has gone entirely too far with multiple issues, rudeness, inaccuracies, unorganized scheduling, mold in the acrylic powder, front desk rudeness, utilization of tools between clients without cleaning, and poor customer service. This is my 2nd time trying a Prive nail salon and it will be my last. This salon is famous for making your appointment, then when you show up they say "you were a no show at 2:30" but my appointment is at 4pm (and I was 15 minutes early). So now I'm told I have to wait- but I can't "leave" & get a call when they are finally organized and ready for me. This has happened multiple times. I let it go, until I called to make an appointment and they told me I have multiple no-shows. This is incorrect. I questioned this because the first time when they had my time incorrect nobody called me. The second and third time they sloppily unorganized the schedule w/ my time nobody called me when I so-called missed my time. I find this to be incredibly poor customer service. Poor business. Also the attitude of the front desk workers @ Prive nail salon is absolutely the worst - rude, unprofessional & has no idea how to effectively utilize a computer. I think when it comes to beauty, health and spas, it is a competitive field and there's no room for poor customer service, especially using the same tools on clients without cleaning them, having mold in the nail powder container, and the area you wash your hands is filthy. Look at all the algae where the bamboo is in the water. One day I was getting my nails done & the phone rang & somebody wanted to have their nails done; The girl at the front desk turned the person down and said we're booked. The nail tech who was doing my nails said why did you say that we're booked? We gave openings. The girl at the front desk said I know but I need my nails done. Again unprofessional. Not to mention one of the most important things, The front desk always has their mask off, they wear it around their chin. Don't waste your money at Prive nail salon. There are so many other really nice and clean nail salons who are professional, have excellent customer service, can schedule correct and won't turn around and blame you for no showing for their miss scheduling issues. Thank you. By the way the person who replied below is completely incorrect. I have never been a no-show. This company does not know how to use the computer. They tell you one time and write down another. And blame you for being late when you came at the correct time. Again, unprofessional and poor service always mixing up their customers. It's typical for a business to try to smooth over the edges of when they're wrong, they will not stay in business long with this type of customer service. By the way when looking for a nail salon, find one that is accredited with the better business bureau, I have found out this business Prive is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau. Go ahead and search it for yourself. 糟糕的客户服务 read more

Got a dip manicure. It cost $50 + tip and there was no hand massage or hot towel. My friend had a regular manicure and got a hand/ arm massage plus hot towel wrap. My nail tech didn't even ask what shape nail I wanted before she just started clipping/ filing them square (I would have asked for rounded.) You can only tip with cash or via venmo which is kind of strange. I paid before we even started the dip and she kept pressuring me about the tip trying to have me do it before she even started the process. I don't think what I got was worth the money and I will go elsewhere in the future. Subtracted a star because it's only 3 days after my dip manicure and my nails are already starting to lift and my hair keeps getting stuck. Going to have to go somewhere to get this fixed before it drives me nuts!! Wish I could respond to the business in a different way but since I can't: I didn't speak up at my service because I didn't know my nails were going to start peeling/ falling off after 3 days. I came to this location to get my nails done because a friend of mine suggested it. We are new moms and planned this outing weeks in advance. I don't live very close to Crocker park to come have my nails redone within 7 days.. I'm lucky if I get a free day to myself once a month. I have a 9 month old baby that I would need to pay for childcare for in order to have my nails fixed and that seems a little ridiculous. read more

I am so upset with the costumer service. I just went in because after 4 days with dip polish I have 4 broken nails, when they are supposed to last 2 WEEKS!! Going in I asked for a refund because I was so disappointed with my service and the woman in charge said no, but they can fix them. With some persuading I almost said yes then she goes on to BLAME ME for hitting my nails to another worker, when that is not how 4/10 of my nails broke. Well maybe if your employee did his job CORRECTLY they would have lasted the 4 weeks that my nails from another salon did. Will never be returning. Rude. Terrible. Service. The pedi's have really gone down hill over the past several years, but the prices have not.

I have never been to this nail salon before. It was my first time and probably will be my last. Let me s begin by saying I'm a pleasant person. I walked in with a smile on my face and ready to sit down and talk with my nail tech about my excitement for getting my nails done (as I normally do when I get my nails done)... the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a man who seemed irritated the moment I walked into the door. He told me to sign my name on the list but after that I wasn't sure we're to wait so I just stood until I decided to sit at the bar the have. Then once I was seated, I met my nail tech Tina. She seemed equally as irritated by my presence. She then quickly bang working on my nails (acrylic full with gal polish). The process was very rushed and my mood went from excited to be there and try out a new nail salon to very uncomfortable. I asked Tina if she could cut my nails shorter than what she had shaped because they were a little longer than I was used to and I isn't want them breaking. She quick looked annoyed by my question and said no because the shape I wanted would work with shorter nails (almond shape). I replied ok and allowed her to continue on with her work. When it came to the color, I showed her a reference to what I was looking for she suggested two color swatches and then twined the colors on two of my nails. When I told her I thought they were a bit too bright for what I was looking for and asked her for a difference color, she seemed annoyed again and gave me a towel and told me to wipe the polish off of my nails while she went to go get the other color I asked for. She came back and pained my nails in a rushed manner. We date in awkward silence the whole time. I'm not one for saying anything when these kinds of thing happen but I was just really disappointed with the experience I had. And for the price ($71 + tip) I didn't get my cuticles, trimmed or a proper manicure. The atmosphere of the salon is nice and Tina did do a god job on my nails but I wouldn't recommend as I thought the service was rude and rushed. It wasn't that busy which is why I thought I would have time to enjoy the experience. I probably won't be coming here again myself. read more

I came in with my bridal party with a total of 11 people. This salon was beautiful and we had a really wonderful experience. Tin did exactly what I requested, which was an ombré nail. The bar was also a nice option for us. I'm not a sangria person but it was the best I ever had! The only negative I have to say is that I was the first to arrive and they took me to the back of the salon. I wasn't able to talk to anyone in my party as they came in and they didn't seat anyone near me. It would have been nice to be able to talk with my mom/bridesmaids as we were getting our nails done.
