This was supposed to be a special treat for my nine-months-pregnant daughter-in-law -- instead, it was an absolute disappointment. The service we paid for wasn't even provided, and what was done was sloppy and careless, with polish smeared all over her toes. I called immediately to complain and was told they'd "speak to the technician" and get back to me. That never happened. No apology, no resolution, no respect for their customers. It's unacceptable to take someone's money, fail to deliver the service, and then ignore them. We will not be returning. Just paid 70 dollars for a "dip manicure with soak off" that was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My nails look so bad, not enough coats of the powder were applied so you can see through it. The entire process took 25 minutes and started with her peeling off my old dip manicure with a fake nail, i have never not had them soaked off. I am so disappointed and my nail tech was so rude that I didn't even bother asking her to fix anything. I prefer not to deal with confrontation while I am paying for a service and it was clear she wasn't happy I was there. 70 bucks and a tip later I hope I can save someone else from having such a terrible experience and having to pay for it!!!! I was so mad at the lack of shape and lack of shine on the dip, the lady did gel polish on-top of my dip charged me extra to make it shiny but this is not needed if you know how to do gel. I compared pictures to yelp reviews and they do not seal the cuticle right it's left bumpy and rough. They don't shape the nail after rounded off to look like a batural shaped nail. I do not recommend it; the service is poor quality, the manager is disrespectful, the gel or regular manicure is poor quality, and just 2/1/2 days after the service, the color comes off, the manager gets upset, and they mistreat the clients. I have never had pink and white ombré done with an airbrush and I 0/10 do not recommend. Two days after my visit, the polish started to peal off. I returned, they redid them saying they give a 2week guarantee. Again, two days later they chipped. Went back, got somewhat of an attitude, but they redid them. Again, two days later and 3 nails were chipped. I've NEVER had this problem elsewhere! Then three people at the front desk were all arguing in another language language, like seriously? Prive Crocker Park needs to close for the safety of everyone. My daughter and I left because my daughter noticed how mean everyone was and did not want to be there. We went to another salon who is very courteous, kind and has great customer service. Check out sage nails, they really have it together there. Lastly, why does a business ask you to wear a mask but they themselves do not wear a mask? Is it an option to give 0 stars? Twice I have made appointments for my daughters' for pedicures and twice they have been taken advantage of by the staff at this nail spa. When your pedicure is going to be 25 minutes in length they should call that a polish change. After I had my hands drying I noticed the white from the front of my nails has gone all over the rest of my nail so I went and asked if they could fix it. I would first like to share that i get a gel manicure & pedicure every 3 weeks. I've been going to Anthony Vince nail salon for about a year now, and i cannot begin to tell you how disappointed i am in the service i received today. Me and my friend: spent $160 in both our services plus we both got a drink. I got a blueberry martini which was good but it wasn't in a martini glass. Which i found weird like why wouldn't y'all tell me it isn't in a martini glass i probably would've had a cocktail instead. Anyways. I got signature pedicure and my nail tech had the nerve to ask me if i wanted the grater done to my feet, which i think is unprofessional, like if i am paying for a service obviously i want it all done, no matter how much times i come here i want it done. Just lazy. Next, i like my toes & nails cut in an oval shape, very short, and also I get decals on two of my fingers. I shows the nail teach exactly how i wanted my nails done, from a previous gel manicure i received. With the decals and everything. The nail tech was STRUGGLING to put these sticker decals on my nail's, the final result is bad. I am not going to lie. It isn't smooth, and some of the sticker is sticking out, which means in a couple days or so they will start to chip. I even changed me wanting them on my middle finger to my thumb to make it easier for the nail tech. Her co workers seen her struggling and just watched as she tried to do this and didn't offer any assistance. I know i am high maintenance, but let's get this understood, this is prive, a luxury nail salon, y'all charge expensive prices, me as a customer wants the best service done! I'll start by saying the staff is very friendly. I came in first thing on Sunday when they only do walk-ins and was greeted immediately. I also was taken right away and offered a drink since they just opened and have an open bar. I tried out a the dip powder manicure because they didn't have acrylic that day. The guy doing my nails was nice, but not very talkative. The whole session lasted about an hour and a half. He had trouble gluing on the top of the fake nails and put one on crooked. Three days after getting them done, 4 nails popped clean off. I tried to schedule another appointment to get them redone. They wanted to just glue the old nail back on. They wouldn't make any room on their schedule for me to get the nails completely redone until the next week. They have a two week policy that if something happens to the nails, I can come in and get them done free of charge. I payed $50 for a manicure that lasted 4 days and couldn't get fixed right away. I have never been to this nail salon before. It was my first time and probably will be my last. Let me s begin by saying I'm a pleasant person. I walked in with a smile on my face and ready to sit down and talk with my nail tech about my excitement for getting my nails done (as I normally do when I get my nails done)... the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a man who seemed irritated the moment I walked into the door. He told me to sign my name on the list but after that I wasn't sure we're to wait so I just stood until I decided to sit at the bar the have. Then once I was seated, I met my nail tech Tina. She seemed equally as irritated by my presence. She then quickly bang working on my nails (acrylic full with gal polish). The process was very rushed and my mood went from excited to be there and try out a new nail salon to very uncomfortable. I asked Tina if she could cut my nails shorter than what she had shaped because they were a little longer than I was used to and I isn't want them breaking. She quick looked annoyed by my question and said no because the shape I wanted would work with shorter nails (almond shape). I replied ok and allowed her to continue on with her work. When it came to the color, I showed her a reference to what I was looking for she suggested two color swatches and then twined the colors on two of my nails. When I told her I thought they were a bit too bright for what I was looking for and asked her for a difference color, she seemed annoyed again and gave me a towel and told me to wipe the polish off of my nails while she went to go get the other color I asked for. She came back and pained my nails in a rushed manner. We date in awkward silence the whole time. I'm not one for saying anything when these kinds of thing happen but I was just really disappointed with the experience I had. And for the price ($71 + tip) I didn't get my cuticles, trimmed or a proper manicure. The atmosphere of the salon is nice and Tina did do a god job on my nails but I wouldn't recommend as I thought the service was rude and rushed. I'm disappointed I have to type this review however this business has gone entirely too far with multiple issues, rudeness, inaccuracies, unorganized scheduling, mold in the acrylic powder, front desk rudeness, utilization of tools between clients without cleaning, and poor customer service. This is my 2nd time trying a Prive nail salon and it will be my last. This salon is famous for making your appointment, then when you show up they say "you were a no show at 2:30" but my appointment is at 4pm (and I was 15 minutes early). So now I'm told I have to wait- but I can't "leave" & get a call when they are finally organized and ready for me. This has happened multiple times. I let it go, until I called to make an appointment and they told me I have multiple no-shows. This is incorrect. I questioned this because the first time when they had my time incorrect nobody called me. The second and third time they sloppily unorganized the schedule w/ my time nobody called me when I so-called missed my time. I find this to be incredibly poor customer service. Poor business. Also the attitude of the front desk workers @ Prive nail salon is absolutely the worst - rude, unprofessional & has no idea how to effectively utilize a computer. I think when it comes to beauty, health and spas, it is a competitive field and there's no room for poor customer service, especially using the same tools on clients without cleaning them, having mold in the nail powder container, and the area you wash your hands is filthy. Look at all the algae where the bamboo is in the water. One day I was getting my nails done & the phone rang & somebody wanted to have their nails done; The girl at the front desk turned the person down and said we're booked. The nail tech who was doing my nails said why did you say that we're booked? We gave openings. The girl at the front desk said I know but I need my nails done. Again unprofessional. Not to mention one of the most important things, The front desk always has their mask off, they wear it around their chin. Don't waste your money at Prive nail salon. There are so many other really nice and clean nail salons who are professional, have excellent customer service, can schedule correct and won't turn around and blame you for no showing for their miss scheduling issues. Got a dip manicure. It cost $50 + tip and there was no hand massage or hot towel. My friend had a regular manicure and got a hand/ arm massage plus hot towel wrap. My nail tech didn't even ask what shape nail I wanted before she just started clipping/ filing them square (I would have asked for rounded.) You can only tip with cash or via venmo which is kind of strange. I paid before we even started the dip and she kept pressuring me about the tip trying to have me do it before she even started the process. I don't think what I got was worth the money and I will go elsewhere in the future. Subtracted a star because it's only 3 days after my dip manicure and my nails are already starting to lift and my hair keeps getting stuck. Going to have to go somewhere to get this fixed before it drives me nuts!! Wish I could respond to the business in a different way but since I can't: I didn't speak up at my service because I didn't know my nails were going to start peeling/ falling off after 3 days. I came to this location to get my nails done because a friend of mine suggested it. We are new moms and planned this outing weeks in advance. I came in with my bridal party with a total of 11 people. This salon was beautiful and we had a really wonderful experience. Tin did exactly what I requested, which was an ombré nail. The bar was also a nice option for us. I'm not a sangria person but it was the best I ever had! The only negative I have to say is that I was the first to arrive and they took me to the back of the salon. Then, of course when I sit down at the nail station, my nails are a looking a little bit rough. But that's why you come to nail salons in the first place. My mail tech wasn't the nicest, I felt really uncomfortable. They did a nice job on my nails; but then proceeded to charge me $75 without tip, just for a full set and gel. Their website says $60 something then has a little "+" symbol so I knew there was a chance they'd be pretty pricey, but I don't understand. There are plenty of other nail places that would charge significantly less for a better job even.
