I was told someone would be here in 30-45 minutes to pick them up. Almost an hour later, no one has called or shown up. I call again at 11:48 for a guy to tell me he is calling the guy running this route to find out where he is and will call me right back. Here is is 12:55 and STILL no ride, no call! I understand they may be busy with it being game day, but it's been TWO hours since we called for a ride. The least they could do was call us and say all taxis are busy at the moment and we could have possibly called another taxi service. We drove all the way here from GA (5 hours) for my husband and son to get to go to a 49ers game, which starts at 1:00, mind you. Would not recommend this taxi service.

How does anyone in business portray service to us seniors who depend on these transportation services like I was. It was a sad morning and to think they specifically provide senior transportation... this company I will never...ever have anything to do with....door 2 door nothing but thumbs down....worse customer and timely scheduled company...completely lacking customer service skills and empathy for ILL senior citizens...

Not to worry. I'd seen a review for 863 Enterprise and made arrangements to pick us up so far in advance, I worried they wouldn't remember us. Not to worry. Despite spotty cell service, the 13 hour time difference and the late arrival, Zack was there waiting! And he checked in via text along the way to let us know he had it covered. A real help when so much else is beyond our control. In fact I'd like to suggest a logo for him... 'Not to Worry Transfers!' I don't know how he did it but even I-4 traffic was tame and we made it to Lakeland in about an hour. If you travel, or if you have a fab trip planned, or even if you want to go to a nice restaurant or event in Tampa, Orlando, or even farther afield from Polk, Zack's your man! He even solved our inscrutable dilemma of leaving out of Tampa and returning to Orlando! There's plenty to worry about when travelling today. It's a comfort to know the airport trasnsfer bit isn't one of them.

Can I give them zero stars, since they gave me zero service?…read more Beacon of Light Transportation lists themselves, both on Yelp and on their website, as providing taxi service. They have a form on their website, to book rides. I entered my information at about 1:15pm on Thursday afternoon, the 9th of March, for a taxi to pick me up at 3pm the same day, for a round trip to my bank. Their website says, "Great rates to various locations throughout the Tampa Bay area. No trip is to small or too big for us to handle." It also says, "Bookings during normal business hours are received via a live representative. Bookings outside of our business hours will be contacted and validated the next business day." Their Yelp listing gives their hours as 6am - 11pm, so I had every reason to believe my booking would be seen and I would receive a response. I DID receive an automated email, saying my request for service had been received, but that's the last I heard from them. 3pm came and went, and I was left stranded at my house. I've been a cab driver, and I know the normal wait time for a cab ride is a bit longer for me, as I live in the northeast Tampa suburbs. But, taking a call for a ride over an hour and a half in advance should be VERY doable. To give a customer NO response whatsoever, during regular business hours, is pitiful.

( I'm having a friend type this review) After trying MANY of my local ,similar transportation services, I FINALLY found WT Suncoast Transportation Service. After being unhappy with EVERY other company that I had tried, for more than a year & a half, I was thrilled to finally have a company that cared about me as a client! These guys are ALWAYS on time, friendly, & a pleasure to be transported by. Their vehicles are very clean & they obviously take care of them very well (maintenance is done so we don't get stuck on the side of the road). I have never had a bad experience with this company, & that's saying A LOT! Until I found this company, I had never felt safe being transported by someone else. All of the other companies either had bad equipment, bad attitudes, or both. The other guys would talk on the phone, text while driving, leave me stranded & waiting for a ride back home (while my cold groceries melted) & many of their drivers were just nasty people... Literally, some of them even smelled bad. Some of the drivers even cursed @ me or talked down to me because I'm handicapped. I've also been stuck sitting on the side of the highway too because their vehicle broke down & once I was with a company that actually had a flat tire with NO SPARE. How can you transport special needs people & NOT have even a spare tire with your vehicle? That's crazy to me! With WT Suncoast Transportation Service you will be transported in a professional, friendly & timely fashion. I honestly can't say enough good things to tell everyone how happy I have been with this company & how highly I recommend them to anyone who needs transportation services; especially if you're handicapped & need transportation companies on a regular basis. I love them so much that I was searching for their address to send them a Christmas card when I found out that they were on YELP. That's how I came to write this review : )
