We had to figure out airport-to-hotel transportation on our own since she was arriving at a different time from her teammates. In researching Tampa car services, I called 1st Class first since they are the only one with numerous reviews that are all 5-star. The owner, Victor, immediately put my mind at ease with the professionalism and kindness in our conversation. He took on the pick up himself even though he had an early start the next morning and my daughter's flight was delayed numerous times, arriving later than expected in the evening. Victor even walked in to great her at the airport, help her with luggage, texted us updates, and walked her into the hotel to make sure she was with her team. For me, this is just a totally unexpected level of service and care. Oh, and to top it off, he would not let me tip him additionally after the drop-off. He offered to pick us up and take us to the airport free of charge just to make sure the kids got there safely. That kind of kindness and care is so rare these days. The driver, Amanda, initially showed up at 8:50. We were not ready yet, since she was an hour early, but invited her to come inside and have some coffee while she waited. She declined and said she would do another drop off. This made my mother nervous about our own timing, but Amanda assured my mother she would be back at our pick up time. At 10:28, after we had already called the office to find out where she was, she called to let us know she would pick us up in 23 minutes! My response, "I'm sorry but that's really unacceptable to be almost an hour late." She responded "you don't need to be rude about it!" Are you seriously calling me rude for telling you it's not acceptable to be an hour late for a timed pickup based on our boarding time? They offered $20 off as compensation. The total booking was $310 (round trip, plus gratuity), so essentially a 6% discount on our booking to show up an hour late. Terrible customer service! Ended up having to load up our van and drive ourselves to the cruise terminal.

I received several preflight text messages confirming the pick up and letting me know what to expect when I arrived. Having never used this company before I really wanted it to work out. The price was great and Booking was easy online and was quickly confirmed by email. They were scheduled to be there for an airport drop off for our guests at 4:45am. At 4:55 I tried to call them to see if they were nearby and there was no answer. At 5am after I had already loaded my worried guests up in my car to take them to the airport-they called and said they were about 5 minutes away. 15 mins after they were supposed to already be there. I told them to cancel because we were already driving to the airport ourselves, and they said "ok" and hung up. No apology no mention of a refund- nothing. I have used towncar services in the are several times, and every time they showed up early. I understand things happen but that phone call should have came about 20 mins earlier, especially when you know someone is going to the airport. Also, an apology and a refund should have followed.
