I needed to arrange for my 24-year-old daughter to be picked up and taken to the airport at 5:45 a.m. My biggest concern was reliability. I wouldn't be able to sleep the night before if I wasn't 100% certain that she would be picked up on time and transported safely to the airport. I found Walsh Airport Services online and saw the average 5-star rating with 23 reviews. The other companies that I found couldn't meet that kind of satisfaction rating. I called and scheduled my daughter's pick up with Tom. The pick-up location can be very difficult to find (off the street, the street is not numbered in sequential order, etc.). So, I gave Tom the details on how to find the place and he said that he would probably just pick her up and drive her himself, to make sure that none of the detailed instructions got lost in relaying them to someone else. We set up a 5:45 a.m. pick up and he said he would probably arrive by 5:40 a.m. (so they could drive away by 5:45 a.m.). I gave him my cell phone number and he said he would text my daughter to let her know when he was close. I left my phone out for her to use to text with him. I also gave him the landline phone number. He was on time, arriving at 5:40 a.m., just as he promised. After my daughter's flight, I asked her how it went. She said that the service was fabulous. Tom treated my daughter like a total VIP. She absolutely LOVED it! So not only was Tom reliable and punctual, but he also delivered fantastic service and made my daughter feel very special (which she is, of course! ) TL;DR: Reliable, Punctual, Superb Customer Service. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone without hesitation. read more

My drivers were attentive, personable, and prompt. Traveling only with my teen daughter in an unfamiliar city, I was comforted knowing my drivers were vetted professionals. Highly recommend. I will use again if I return to the Tampa area. read more

Great people great service, there's nobody I would rather use in the Tampa area

Excellent service. Always early. Nice, friendly drivers. A bit expensive, but a good value as they are so dependable

Excellent experience. We used Walsh Chauffeured Transportation to travel to the Tampa Cruise port, and return home after our trip. Everything was great excellent: communication, reasonable, inclusive, pricing, and prompt and courteous service. Very accommodating when our ship was late and our boarding time changed. Walsh is the best! Be sure to check them out for your transportation needs. Highly recommend! read more

Use this service to to and from work because of back injury They are great-- on time-- very good drivers-- helpful with my getting in and out of car Superior quality cars-- always immaculately clean read more

The driver was on his cell phone most of the time. He held the phone in his hand, and at one point, he was looking at the seat next to him fiddling with papers, so he had no hands on the wheel. He only put a hand back on the wheel when I requested it. His claim was "I haven't had an accident in 25 years." He is only one glance away from having an accident. The company should have a clear policy for their drivers. They should not be holding a cell phone while driving, even if it is allowed in Florida. This is NOT an example of good customer service.Safety must always come first. read more

My sister and I come to Clearwater a couple times a year, in the past we used a different service, we switched to Walsh and couldn't be happier. Very professional, awesome clean vehicles, great customer service. We had the pleasure of being picked up at our hotel by the owner, I think his name was Tom (forgive me if I'm wrong on the name). The service we got was awesome and we will be using you in the future. Thank you for making our vacation a wonderful one. Lori Floyd read more

Outstanding customer service and very reliable. Have been using Walsh for several years for airport service for both business and personal trips. Whether it's a 4am pickup, or right in the heart of rush hour they are always on time with friendly professional drivers, and clean, quality vehicles. You generally get what you pay for in life, and Walsh is no exception. They continue to earn and deserve my business. read more

Can't say enough nice things about this company! Has to arrange last minute transfer for my elderly parents from Tampa to their home near Orlando. They texted me when they picked them and when they arrived at their house! My mother was super impressed with the professionalism and said they will be the service they use in the future! Thank you so much for the great service! read more

Will definitely use this service again! Easy online scheduling, great customer service, on time wand great driver!!

I ordered this car service based on the great reviews on here. I spoke to Tom on the phone and he got all of my info and sent me a confirmation. I was surprised to get Tom as my driver too. He was right on time. The car was gorgeous, clean and luxurious. He was a gentleman and helped all of us in the car. I can't believe all of our luggage fit. We had a great trip there and I felt like I was in very good hands. Very smooth from start to finish. I will be using this service from now on. It was awesome! read more

First time I've ever used a car service to go to the airport. Our flight left at 640am so we had to be picked up very early. The driver was early which was a good sign and very friendly. The owner was the driver who picked us up on the way back and he was great, I will definitely use them in the future read more

Walsh airport service is by far the best car service in the Tampa Bay Area. We have been using them exclusively for over 10 years. The best review I could share, is that we have them pick up my 91 year old mother in law many times, and the service is second to none. They are consistently timely, courteous, and extremely professional . The cars are always clean and they go above and beyond to satisfy our needs. read more

From start to finish, I had a great experience with Walsh Airport Service. I hired the company to transport my parents to various locations on the day of my aunt's funeral. My parents said nothing but great things about their experience. Tom took the time to learn how to pronounce my family's last name correctly (it's difficult for most American tongues, at least) and listened well to where I needed them to go. The day of service was even better. Tom was patient, courteous, and at one point, helped get the funeral procession back on track when the hearse took a wrong turn! I can't recommend Walsh Airport Service enough. Too bad they're not in Southern California where we reside. read more

We used Walsh for our ride to the airport in Tampa and for the return trip. We were very pleased with how punctual they were and on the return we arrived early but the driver was there and picked us up in a timely manner. We would highly recommend! read more

I can't find enough good things to say about walsh Airport Service and the professional, courteous staff. Recently I had to make changes to a reservation (four times!) and they took it all in stride without a hitch. Just fantastic and better than a jitney or shuttle, especially if your party has two or more people (or me and my cat). They provide around-town limo services, around-town and aiport car services, and more. Well worth the money and well worth using. read more

My family and I recently took a short trip to St. Pete Beach by way of Tampa. We were traveling with two young children as well so had booster seats with us plus plenty of luggage. We called Walsh last minute (Day of the AM flight) and he was right where we needed him, with easy text message communication. We had never been to this area and he was extremely helpful in taking about the area, keeping the conversation entertaining for the kids and even made a side stop along the way to get keys from someone. Helped with luggage, was patient and did an early pick up for our departure for the same rate. We had both a Towncar and a new Cadillac on the trips and both were in great shape, clean and pleasant. Not covered up in air freshener from last nights party tour. Absolutely recommend booking him while looking for transportation in the Tampa area. read more

We used Walsh Airport Service to take us to and from Tampa Airport to Clearwater Beach. When dealing with the office, they were very polite and helpful with my questions and made the booking and payment process simple. We had a different driver for each pick up and both were very friendly, professional, courteous and on time. The car was clean and really nice. We will absolutely use this company again for our next trip and we highly recommend it to anyone else. read more

I took a cruise out of Tampa in August, had never been to Tampa and had never used Walsh. These guys really made our trip special. I take town cars all the time and in different parts of the country, this is the best service I've ever had. Tom's team is thoughtful and go the extra mile, text updates on location arrival etc were personal, not from a dispatch. Tom himself was our driver from the airport the first day, he let us know what to expect in the area we were staying, he pointed out things of interest along the way and advised us on our cruise, what to expect etc. Coming in from the Cruise he said he'd be there to get us and scheduled his time for it, when the boat pulled in, his text was there, we looked down and he was waving to us from the parking lot. I will never use another service when coming to the Tampa area. If you are traveling in the area, use these guys, they are great. Thanks Tom and team! read more
