I live in Long Beach and I'm so sad I cant be a regular here. I called the day of to ask about openings and whoever I spoke to on the phone was friendly and accommodating! I had a gel manicure and pedicure with Terah & I could not be more happy with the result. She took her time and asked lots of questions about how I wanted them done. From our brief conversation, I can tell she is an amazing and hard working person. She has an incredible talent. I love how my nails came out and she gave me really useful advice for how to grow them out and explained the differences between different types of polish and how they can protect or damage your nails. She is extremely knowledgeable. I had accidentally picked a mood changing polish for my pedicure and she took so much care to find a color that matched that I was happy with. She is a professional through and through. On top of that, personally I hate when nail salons are too bright and sanitary smelling but the energy in this salon was really cozy and unrushed. The TV was playing at the perfect volume. They have a little Christmas tree lit. Everyone there seemed happy & in a good mood. It was a nice place to spend an hour. Many nail salons where I live rush through customers and take on more than they can handle so they always have a long line waiting but not Private Beach. They really take their time and do a quality service. I saw other reviews complaining about the prices, but I think they are completely fair. This is the best nail salon I have ever been to-- customer service, the vibes, and the way my nails looked when I left. You are paying for a top service. It's 100% worth it.
Came here in December to get my nails done with some friends for another friend's wedding. Service and staff: - Love that this is a family business with a mom and her two daughters. They were friendly and fun, which made the time pass pretty quickly as well - All staff was friendly and efficient. I really appreciated that the person who did my nails is a perfectionist - Lots of options available for services Miscellaneous: - Prices were normal rate - Lots of parking available in a parking lot - Starbucks and other food nearby in case you show up early to your appointment - They take walk-ins, but it's always good to call ahead just in case
LOVED my experience here!! I came in on a Saturday with a group of 3 other girls. We all had manicures, and three of us had pedicures. Walking in it was a fun, trendy and inviting atmosphere. I had two different ladies working on me. The woman doing my pedicure was great! She listened to what I wanted and gave me time to pick it my colors, as I am pretty indecisive. She was gentle and efficient, even buffing out flaws afterwards. The woman who did my manicure was great as well! I think they may have been a mother-daughter duo. She gave me advice with what color I should get, to coordinate with my dress (I was attending a wedding the next day). I in love with the ombré glitter on my hands. This salon is woman owned and definitely worth a visit! Fun fact, we found out that the bride came into this salon to get her nails done a day before us. Purely coincidental! Thank you ladies!
I am coming up on my 1 year anniversary with Private Beach and I have never felt more happy with a nail salon in my entire life. The staff is extremely welcoming, hard working and will give you a personal experience that leaves you feeling like part of the family. I love supporting a local family-owned and women-owned business. Brooke the owner has worked endlessly to ensure all guests are seen, heard, and taken care of. I will never go anywhere else!
I have been a regular customer for about a year now. Prior to that I was blessed the know the children of the ladies who own this shop, as their teacher. Some of the sweetest young ladies I have ever met. This was a direct testament to the wonderful and kind nature of their mothers. The entire staff at Private Beach are welcoming and always ready to lend an ear. Always extremely accommodating and allow clients to be their most authentic selves. I wouldn't recommend another nail salon more. I pre book 6 months in advance because I know the quality of their service and quality of their company is unmatched.
Best nail salon on the Central Coast I've been going to Brooke at Private Beach consistently for the last 8 months and just had my wedding nails done here alongside my bridal party--always flawless. The atmosphere feels like you're apart of the family and they truly love what the do. I get hard gel which keeps my nails SO strong and I can grow them out easily. The salon is VERY clean and I never feel uncomfortable like I have felt in some walk-in salons. Both Brooke and Kim have done my manicures, Casey and Alyssa do my pedicures and they knock it out of the park every time. They listen to exactly what I want and there's no just crossing your fingers hoping they do something at least similar. Private Beach did my nails for my proposal, birthday, engagement photos, bridal shower, bachelorette, wedding and everything in between. I couldn't recommend them enough!
Seriously beautiful work!!! These ladies at Private Beach Salon where so loving and kind! They organized a Mani Pedi combo for my husband and I (His first time) and it was so fun and memorable!! Brooke brought us cupcakes and cookies to celebrate our anniversary! So much fun and great work!! My husband keeps looking at my nails and saying how much he liked "the ladies"! It was seriously the nicest and most fun experience we have had in a while!!! Thank you Ladies!!!

I'm here from Chicago for work and I went for a month without my nails and I just couldn't. It's hard to find good nail salon places and this exceeded my expectations! I'm all about review so reading reviews had help me pick this place! The location is great, next to a Starbucks! Alyssa did my nails! She took her time! Very clean and gentle. Okay so I really don't know where to start with this incredible salon. Everyone there is AMAZING. Love ! Very cute nail salon in Arroyo Grande. Extremely professional, clean and adorable vibe with lots of plants. Excellent choice for hard gel. I called and left a message to book an appointment. Got a call back later that same day and received a confirmation text. I love that they don't try to answer the phone while working on clients. It makes it a way better more personal experience. Added bonus they are located next door to Starbucks for a coffee after. The business is family owned and you could see such a pride of ownership in taking care of their customers. read more

Love all three of the Ladies that work here! They are so friendly, and really make the space welcoming. Most of all I love my nails . Love that they do Hard Gel which is so much better for my natural nails than the powder dip I used to do at other places. They do really cute designs too! read more

My best friend and I just found our new salon! Brook, Terah, and Kim are amazing! They are all so nice, warm, and friendly. Plus do outstanding work! Kim did my acrylics and they came out even better than the photo I showed her. Brook did my pedicure and her attention to detail is impeccable. Throughout the experience they kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable and to ensure I was getting the design/style I wanted (so appreciate that as an introvert). It is evident they truly care about the quality of their work and their outgoing nature made the experience so fun. read more

They are by far the BBBEEESSTT nail salon in town! I find it very professional of the nail technicians to not answer incoming phone calls while they are doing my nails. it ensures them that they are able to get me out of the salon on time while doing amazing professional work on my nails. I have called in the past, and by no later than a day, they get back to me after leaving a voicemail. I also book through them online as I find it more efficient and I can compare the time and dates that work best for me. You can also view your upcoming nail appts. Not only do they do amazing nail work, but they use new nail files, buffers, clean towels and sanitized nail supplies on each and every one of their customers. A lot of the nail salons in town do not. For the time that they spend on pedicures and nails, their prices are very good. read more

Just stopped in and was able to get in for a fill with Kim. She did such a great job! I am so beyond happy to find this new shop. I showed her a picture of what I was wanting and she matched it to the T! This is very friendly, inviting shop and I also purchased a new pair of cute sunglasses as well.
