Do not use this service. I got married last week. I booked an at home hair appointment on my wedding day through PRIV, got a confirmation, all seemed well. The morning of my wedding I sat around waiting for the stylist to show up. I texted him through the app with no response. Finally, a half hour after the scheduled time he responds with "sorry i got locked out of my account." I'm confused, naturally, and ask him if we're still all set for our appointment. He takes another fifteen minutes to tell me that he had an emergency and can't make it. Things happen, I completely understand, I'm not upset at the stylist and I genuinely hope everything is alright with him, however for a wedding day style, the company needs to have a backup ready to go. They did not. The company texted me and told me they were trying to find a replacement, and then asked when the latest time one could show up. I still needed to get my makeup done, get dressed, eat and get to our venue, so I told them that if someone couldn't be at my house within the hour that we needed to cancel. They obviously didn't find anyone on that short of notice, and so I had to do my own hair for my wedding. Their version of reparations was a $150 credit (keep in mind this was a $300 appointment). I obviously will not be using this service again so the credit is useless. Do not use PRIV, especially in the case of an important event. They have no backup plan if your stylist cancels last minute. read more

Alejandra was incredible! She was so sweet, fun, easy going, and had great communication. And on top of all that, the updo she created is PERFECTION. It's exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier. It complements my dress perfectly and makes me feel beautiful. Thank you, Alejandra! read more

Salvador did a great job with my blowout and beach waves! I was suspicious when it only took him 30 minutes and I expressed hesitation with how curly it looked. He was super sweet and patient and showed me that he knew exactly how my hair would hold a curl for my photoshoot three hours later and he was absolutely right. There wasn't too much product but it held and fit my description and felt natural. Definitely recommend for family photo day and not just for weddings! read more

I was very disappointed in this service. I had beGlammed come do a wedding trial and that same day I did my engagement photos because my hair and makeup would be professionally done by their Elite artists. When they finished it looked good but an hour to my engagement photo shoot the airbrush makeup starting getting blotchy and it was coming off my face...it made me look two toned and crazy. My hair did not hold at all and the waves came undone after being outside for an hour. I was so sad that my engagement photos got messed up and the photographer had to use major editing to cover it up as much as he good. I am not sure if my elite artists were just not good or this is the case with all of them but I would not recommend this service for one of the most important days of your life. The hair and makeup person I did end up using for my wedding was amazing and everything stayed on and held from 6am-11:30pm. There is good quality out there but no sure about this service. read more

My BFF means the world to me! So before her big wedding they decided to do a court wedding with just a few people less than 10. With it just being a courthouse and not the dream ceremony they had in motion for October. She was nonchalant about the whole event. It was small, just a few family and friends. It's in a court, not her actual venue. Well that was the day my BFF officially goes from Miss to Mrs. under the law, so... It's still a big deal. I want her to look gorgeous when she says I do!. so I looked up mobile MUA and came upon the beglammed app. Set my appt., booked their services, paid and prayed it would go smoothly as I have never used the app. After it was booked I was emailed who my artist would be. Easy peasy! But still I was anxious because it was a surprise and I wanted things to go smoothly for my bride to be. Morning of her court wedding came and artist was nice and early. She set up shop and I called my bff down stairs so "I" can get started on her make-up. Surprise! Our MUA worked diligently to help our bride the look she desired. She was also sweet and friendly. Can keep a conversation while working so it's not awkward. My bff was gorgeous! I loved the convenience of the app. The experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely hire them again. read more

I recently booked beGlammed to help me with an updo for work because I can't do them myself. The stylists showed up early in the morning and right on time to glam me, and the updo lasted an entire day through a snowstorm and high winds. I received lots of compliments and wish I could recreate it. I will always use beGlammed for future work events, as well as personal! read more

This experience completely exceeded my expectations! I would give 10 stars if it was an option. First of all, it was so easy and convenient to book! I love that everything is handled via the website. My fiance and I took our engagement photos this past Sunday, so I really wanted to look special for the pictures. Imelda was the stylist that was assigned to me and she was AMAZING. She was prompt, set up quickly, and was so great as she went over my potential hair/make up looks. The outcome was perfect and was exactly what I envisioned for the special day. I would use both the service and Imelda again in a heartbeat. I received so many compliments on the hair and make up, and I am already looking forward to my next appointment! read more

I LOVED my blowout! I was traveling for work and needed something fresh for a meeting and didn't know where to go. I went online and my stylist came directly to me which was awesome! It was so convenient. My blowout looked amazing. I told her exactly what I wanted and she did it! My hair also lasted all day even into the next day. Not even sure how that was possible... Seriously you have to try them if you haven't yet!! read more

Just finished my hair and makeup wedding trial with Rose. She is amazing! I asked BeGlammed for a stylist close to my venue in Los Gatos and they were able to find me a perfect match. The Bridal Specialist who worked with me was Alexis and she was beyond helpful. Wonderful customer service.. I feel like she went out of her way to meet all my needs and set me up with an excellent stylist. Rose tried a couple different looks and two sets of lashes on me. She incorporated the decorative headpiece I brought with me into the hair do. She even completely changed my hair and makeup at the end so I could go to dinner with a look that is different from my wedding look. Rose is professional, thoughtful, kind and I really value her expertise. I'm so excited for my wedding makeup! Thank you so much, Rose! read more

while i love the idea of this and will likely continue to use it, the actual execution has been inconsistent, mostly from the standpoint of punctuality. i understand that parking is challenging in my neighborhood but that should be factored into the transit time. and telling me that you "work fast" and can make up the time isn't exactly what i want to hear when i still pay the same amount for hastily done work. part of the experience is being pampered at home where i'm comfortable and that doesn't exactly happen when i'm stressing about whether or not you're doing to show up (telling me you're "2 minutes" away then waiting 20-30 before you actually ring my bell) and then whether or not you're going to finish before i need to go. i've learned to be dressed with makeup done because i'm going to have to throw on shoes and dash before the hairspray is dry. read more

I got married last week and I used beGlammed for my bridal hair and makeup, as did all of my bridesmaids. I don't have a single bad word to say. They helped me not only look and feel beautiful, but had so much fun that they really helped to calm my nerves too. I felt so confident and am so excited to get my pictures back. All of my girls looked gorgeous and were so happy with the experience as well. I've used beGlammed multiple times in different cities around the US. Each time, I've had professional makeup and hair artists who have done an amazing job! Great service. I booked last minute at 7pm the night before for a 7:30am appointment the next day. I was so happy. Fabulous stylist Too! I will be booking again. Thank you. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. I booked a hair stylist in San Francisco for my wedding reception to do my hair differently than the way that I had it for my cerony. I had already taken out my updo, and 5 PM rolled around when the stylist was supposed to be there, and I received a call stating that she was barely leaving San Jose (which is over an hour away). The cocktail reception was starting at 6 PM and my hair needed to be done, my second dress put on, and my make up reapplied. When she called she stayed at her wedding party had gone over, and it was so inconsiderate and upsetting to her the call when the person was supposed to be there. My hair was frizzy and a mess, and three of my bridal party members had to try to do what they could with it. Super disappointing. Will never book again. read more

What a wonderful and much needed service.. I used them once before for a party and was disappointed but this time entirely different! I have a pinched nerve and no right arm shoulder mobility so this was a "sick call"., Alejandra was kind, prompt, very competent and experienced yet listened to what my priorities were.. she also took no offense when picked up the dryer for a second just to show her what kind of volume I was seeking.. very secure.. she watched and then did the same things. I will request her again.. High marks! read more

I booked 4 hairstylists (very last minute) for a large event, over 40 girls to be seen, and beGlammed really came to the rescue! They were amazing to work with, super helpful and reliable, and all of the stylists showed up early, had great, positive upbeat attitudes, and most importantly did an AMAZING job. I would recommend beGlammed to anyone looking for beauty services, and I most certainly will be using them again in the future. I am so glad to have found them. read more
