I highly warn those considering the services of this business to save themselves a nightmare and not use their services. In October of last year (2025) I asked for an estimate to fix a leak in the kitchen. I had no idea where the leak was coming from. Some rep named Bobby came over and went through an elaborate explanation of the "high-tech" methods they used to find a leak. So he had me sign a form that he stated was a simple explanation of what their services offered and that I would use their services if my insurance company agreed with the estimate. He then brought in a small device that he said was state-of-the-art in detecting leaks. He put on a pair of headphones and used a suction cup-type device to listen for a leak. Shortly, he stated he found the problem. It was a leak under the slab and he offered me to listen. I told him whatever, it sounded like a leak, but I'm no expert! He then gave me a vague invoice for $3000! I told him this was going to be submitted to an insurance company that required services to be thoroughly explained. He came back with another invoice that wasn't really that much better in explaining why the services were that much. I told him I would contact them when I got in touch with the insurance adjuster. He then stood up over me and stated he couldn't leave my home without collecting $550 for the services rendered in finding the leak. I told him he never mentioned those fees to me and he continued to state he couldn't leave until he got the money. Now imagine, someone in your living room threatening not to leave unless they get some money! It was really getting ready to get nasty until we got a supervisor on the phone who apparently advised him to leave and told me to contact them when I was ready to get the work done. Later I found out the leak was actually coming from a downstairs toilet with a leaking tank that was oozing under the flooring. So then I contacted Pristine the next day to cancel the contract per Indiana law. The company has been harassing me ever since still trying to say I owe them $550 for a service that was a fraudulent attempt to extort money for a service that wasn't even correct! This was the worst nightmare that I have ever encountered with a company. I shared it so you won't have to endure what I did. I've previously worked at a plumbing company and understand the intricacies of a lot of the sales models etc... but with that being said I was able to notice that my tech really went over and beyond to help me with my issue (stupid toilet crap, pun intended) cost was great and can even comment on the education that was given and follow up as well!! Awesome service and so courteous. My super heroes Bobby did it again they saved us on our basement floor. Our water heater was leaking on the bottom and we needed it replaced. It has been leaking since Friday when the storm came in. My 92 year old thought she seen a little water on the floor. Oh my gosh it wasn't a little we had 4+ inches and increasing. We are so blessed to have called my super heroes at Pristine and spoke to Macee oh she is awesome . Shortly I got another call and they were sending out Bobby with the 40 gallon water heater. We are so grateful and thankful to Ron that this was made possible. Pristine is the BEST and the super heroes that work together makes this a fantastic company. When Quintin arrived he was knowledgeable and spent time explaining what the issue was after the diagnoses. He provided quotes and information for our decision to be made at a later date. Absolutely the worst plumbing experience I've ever had. I would NEVER hire again. I hired them for a sewage pipe break inside. They charged me $1200 to replace a 4 inch PVC pipe (saying I needed to replace the entire thing). This was a home warranty covered repair so I figured ok, it's covered. Warranty company wanted an explanation and Pristine Plumbing's "expert" told them my home wasn't up to code (it is and as has been proven through 4 inspections) and my claim was denied. After several calls with Pristine Plumbing to show them Indiana law and the manufacturer's sizing and to ask them to simply correct their mistake, they literally refused out of spite to correct their mistake (and this was my hire, not the warranty company so you'd think they'd want to keep a new customer happy). I had to hire another plumber who refuted their bogus statement and now I'm starting litigation to get reimbursed. They were incredibly rude, unwilling to actually help, and overpriced. Pristine Plumbing came to our rescue when Roto Rooter miserably failed us. They had a big job of removing a 75 gallon hot water heater and replacing it with a new tankless unit. The tech was knowable, efficient, and courteous. We purchased a unit ourselves and he was got everything set up and installed properly. Because he was unfamiliar with the product we bought he called into the office and the sales manner and the owner came out immediately to ensure everything was perfect and to get our hot water heater flowing. They took the time to go over everything and explain how the system worked, what to expect, how to change settings, etc. All of that and they were extremely reasonably priced! A+ and I would highly recommend this company. read more

My garbage disposal was leaking and needed to be replaced. The service technician was very friendly. He had to go to his vehicle to get an estimate. $858!! For a $125 piece of equipment and MAYBE took him 7 minutes to replace it. This company is ridiculously expensive. In the future I'll call out a different plumber. read more

I hired Pristine to fix the gas leak on my stove. I was told it would cost $69 to send someone out but if something was fixed it would be rolled into that cost. I agreed. The tech spent less than an hour in the house, sprayed the lines with soapy water to check for gas leak and then told us it would be $250 for the test. This tactic can be found on YouTube. When my partner who was home when the technician was there told me how much she was charged I asked the company to make it right. The manager then called me to insist it was a fair price for the knowledge and expertise of the technician. Once again, I hired Pristine to fix the gas leak on my stove and instead they just said to contact the people we bought the stove from and charged us $250 without fixing anything. We got charged $250 for soapy water and "expertise" found on YouTube. Deeply dissatisfied. read more

Ok its rare to run into a business as customer centric as Pristine. My plumbing sewage line connection outside my house had broke and I am selling the property so I needed to get a repair estimate. I contacted at least 7 or so businesses that do this work and Pristine was first to respond quickly which would be a plus if I had been still living at the house as a house without a sewage conneciton would be a real emergency. Others didnt respond or were literally a week later. Provided a thourough estimate and evaluation of the line and potential solution that was in line with the only other similar quote I received. I would have and probably should have used them for the repair and ran into a huge potential issue with the company I selected. I called Pristine back to see if they could help and got an immediate response ironically going late into the night and running out of time my vendor is going to fix my issue, but based on my interactions and the great service I would definitely recommend Pristine and will definitely be calling them for any future needs I have. read more

I found out while doing a bathroom remodel that I had a sewer leak in my crawl space. First impressions mean a lot and I got a call from Pristine literally within 2 minutes of sending them an email requesting an estimate. Evert came out to take a look and recommended a total repiping of the house due to its 66 year old age. Derrick and Nathan came out the following week and earned their pay that day, as it was quite the mess down there. The estimate I received was very good, based on a family member who's a local journeyman plumber with Local 440. Could not have asked for better service from Pristine. They showed up with 30 min of speaking with them on the phone and after taking a look the plumber said he'd better work up a quote for me. I was on a tight deadline because I had AirBnb guests arriving that day but he spent over 30 min tapping away at his phone to work up my quote. This was a simple job, it should not take over 30 min for him to work up the quote. When he was finished he showed me his phone so I could see my options - there were SIX different quotes ranging from $793 to $1,357! Upon further review later, I still cannot tell the difference between these quotes, they all seem to result in the same conclusion - a fixed leak. What could I possibly gain by spending $550? The repair itself took him just over an hour to complete so even at the lowest quote of $793 that I paid I feel like I was COMPLETELY ripped off and taken advantage of. But I was stuck because I had guests coming and he knew that. read more
