They send a sales person to the home to tell you your home needs immediate action. The pitch includes all the ways your home will be a health threat to you and your family, when you say you need to think about accepting their service- this person had the audacity to use my single mother status as manipulating tactic- they call their owner- and tell you they will repair your home, they are the cheapest, they will make sure you come out ahead, they handle the insurance and the rebuild! In my case, I was told my clean up was 1500. When my insurance adjuster came - restoration 1 only wanted to know how much it was for. They doctored quotes from contractors- leaving me with little for material and the need to leave out things like paint. They exceeded my budget- because they were pocketing my insurance check. The 1500 clean up? Turned into 3800 for 300 sq feet of minimal work. When I stopped my relationship with restoration 1 and got 3 quotes for every part of my restoration- o found they had increased bucketed costs 30% to 40%. I am so so blessed I stopped this scam and had honest contractors. My time looks brand new, 100% of the work was completed, with high quality material and license contractors. After my deductible- I still have 2700.00 left. I do not recommend this company.

Very disappointed :( Recently got my air duct cleaned in less than a week…read more During the service, the technician left multiple dirty fingerprints on my white walls, which I had to clean up myself, some of the prints I couldn't get rid of and now leaving some marks on my wall. Additionally, one of the floor tiles in my utility room was damaged during the appointment. I also noticed that trash was disposed of in my outdoor trash bin which contained standing rainwater because I had not yet brought it back after trash collection. This created an additional mess I had to handle. Furthermore, over the weekend my utility room became very hot and steamy, found out the patch covering a hole cut during the air duct cleaning had come off. I immediately contacted them, and they sent out a technician to come fix it. This time the technician was very helpful and he re-taped the patch; however, the hole is larger than the patch itself, leaving only tape to cover the opening. Also, turned out the previous technician didn't use the right tape to tape it properly; that's why it came off. Now I am concerned that this will cause heat leakage and increase my electricity bill. I shouldn't have gotten my airduct cleaned :(

Tywon didn't even bring in the proper equipment for the full service I paid for. (I found this out for certain when the second, technician Ryan was sent to properly perform the service I paid for brought in equipment Tywon did not. Instead, Tywon rushed through the couch cleaning and pretended to apply the deodorizer and fabric protection during the extraction process -- but it was clear nothing had been added. There was no scent, no difference in texture, and no sign that those treatments had actually been applied. Beware! Update! My concerns were not resolved by a $75 gift certificate to a company I won't use again.

During the initial visit, my wife was asked to sign what was described as a "routine authorization form." We later noticed language suggesting financial responsibility. I immediately sent written messages to both this company's owner and the hiring company stating that I do not accept financial responsibility, and that understanding was acknowledged. We never received a quote, estimate, or invoice at the time of service. Months later, after they were unable to collect from the company that hired them, they attempted to bill us directly and referenced a potential mechanic's lien. This was unexpected given we did not hire them and had clearly stated our position in writing before work began. Additionally, during the drying process, trim boards were removed leaving exposed nails, which created a safety concern. When we requested they address this, there was resistance and we were told to sign another authorization. They eventually returned and removed the hazard. Overall, the experience felt confusing and frustrating. I would recommend clarifying financial responsibility in writing before any work begins. Ask clearly about all documents and estimates and if you are not comfortable to sign, do not

Referred to Complete Drying by my insurance company upon reporting a leak. They quickly came out…read morewithin the hour to assess the situation. We had caught the issue immediately but there was still alot of damage. Jeez! Water goes EVERYWHERE and fast!! Complete Drying made the process easy. They 1st ensured everything was absolutely dry, checking moisture levels all over to be 100% sure. Next came the repairs and painting. Subcontractors were very good with Complete Drying coordinating and providing all required documentation for insurance. At the end of the process everything was back to normal. Definitely not a fun thing to deal with but if you need them Complete Drying is a great company to have help you!
