Three of our neighbors recommended Pristine Construction, and we were not disappointed. The bathrooms look beautiful, and the paint and drywall work is meticulous. What's even better, is that these are people who are a joy to work with. Nathan, Mike, Gurgen, Shelly, and Milton were fantastic. Someone was working every day (no delays), and inconvenience was kept to an absolute minimum. We couldn't be happier with everything. The neighbors are all coming around to see the beautiful work. Highly Recommended! read more

We've remodeled several homes and Prestine Construction was the best experience working with contractors we've ever had! They finished our beautiful Master Bathroom on time, made excellent recommendations along the way, provided excellent communication, and were constantly on the job overseeing that the work was done properly. All of the staff were professional and respectful. This was truly an excellent company to work with. We would recommend Prestine Construction without reservation to anyone looking to remodel, or to build an entire home. read more

We've used Pristine Construction twice and have been happy with both remodels. We originally got 3 bids for a master bath remodel. Nathan gave us a very detailed explanation of costs. His bid was right in the middle and seemed most realistic. Most impressive was Nathan's accessibility. I called him a lot and he was patient with all of my questions and requests for revisions. His crew was excellent. Mike was on site every day and the subs worked non-stop. They even completed the 1st remodel ahead of schedule. We also had Nathan and his crew remodel our downstairs bathroom. We were hoping this was a simple and inexpensive job. Unfortunately, it wasn't so I ended up buying all finishes to keep costs down (eg. tile, sink, toilet, tub, mirror and hardware). We were very happy with the outcome. Pristine Constriction is not cheap. But, you get what you pay for. We will probably use them again when it's time to remodel our kitchen. II highly recommend this company. read more

We did a huge remodel that almost doubled the size of our house. I am cheap and Pristine was not the cheapest. But I looked at the work they have done and decided I would pay more to get better craftsmanship so I would not have to worry. It was worth it. They are a great value because they do great work. Nathan and Mike worked in a way that allowed us to stay in the house for nearly the entire 5 months of renovation. And on that note, they actually got done ON TIME and ON BUDGET. No renovation is perfect but I am giving 5 stars because Pristine will make sure you are happy and deal with any issues that come up 2 years later I call them and they call back immediately to answer any questions I have. The best thing I can say is that you get PEACE OF MIND. read more

Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. It is hard to find the words to properly compliment both Nathan and Mike on how happy and satisfied I am on the re-modeling of my home. The project included the complete re-modeling of the kitchen and two bathrooms down to the studs, and the painting of several areas of the house, as well as installing LED lights throughout the house. It also involved the upgrading of the electrical meter and replacing the water heater. The project started November 3rd and finished on January 7th. The project ran on time and exactly as expected. Both Nathan and Mike were on site numerous times every day. The crew showed up every day, on time, ready to work. Anywhere from three to seven people were here working every day. The house was cleaned by the crew daily, before they left so there was as little an inconvenience to us as possible. My work schedule allows me to come in and out of the house often during the day. Each time, each worker was diligently working throughout the house. I was truly worry free and completely at ease having them bring my home in to the 21st century. Mike, co-owner of Pristine Construction, is meticulous at every detail throughout the entire project. He is a true perfectionist. His knowledge of building code and getting the job done right is every customer's dream. This is complemented by Nathan's ability to coordinate the esthetics of the project. Nathan assisted us in picking out counter tops and tile, as well as suggesting colors of paint. Nathan is fully committed to spending as much time with you as necessary to layout, design and to improve upon your vision and make it a reality. Pristine is a first class company which puts the client first. In looking back at what we had them do, there is absolutely nothing that we would change. You will lose no sleep when they are in charge of the project. I have already given three people their information. read more

Nathan, Mike and their crew have done it again! This is our third remodel in three years with Pristine Construction (clearly we love them or we wouldn't keep coming back for more!) We sold our last house that was entirely remodeled by them (sold quickly 'cause it looked so awesome) and bought a total fixer. As usual, Nathan got into the new project quickly, efficiently and with no drama. He spends all the time you need thinking things through at all odd hours if needed in order to make sure you're comfortable with every decision. He had some great ideas and continued to guide us through the entire project smoothly. What's also important, is that his subs are consistent (he uses the same crew for all his projects) their attention to detail is unsurpassed, and the custom work is flawless. It looks so amazing that the house is almost not recognizable from its old state. . . people who saw the "before" and now see the "after" are astonished. I have given Nathan several referrals, and now three of them are in projects with Pristine. Need I say more? If you want the ultimate in reliability, honesty and integrity, call Pristine. read more

Pristine Construction could also be known as Flawless, Worry-Free, Joyful Construction! Trust me on this one: Pristine is not like any construction experience you have ever had. A bit about our experience with Pristine (who we discovered through online research): we recently completed a substantial project with Pristine Construction (upgrade of three bathrooms and makeover of the master bedroom in a 1950 traditional home in Pasadena). We had dragged our feet for four years on the project after moving into our home - dreading the process. To our chagrin, working with Pristine was such a positive experience and our results are so fantastic that we actually missed them when they finished (on time and as priced in the estimate) and were not at our house every day anymore. First of all, Nathan and Mike, the owners. A list of adjectives perhaps is the best way to summarize them: incredibly honest and upfront, thoughtful, patient, helpful, creative, professional, seamless in execution, kindly, genuine. I worked closely with both of them on our project and, at each stage, they made things easy for us and made everything flow without interruption. For example, Nathan came to do the original assessment of our project. Unlike the other contractors with whom we had met, Nathan knew immediately how to work with the spaces we have. He had clever suggestions to improve the space available such as switching a door to the other side of the frame and swapping a commode and sink. He listened as I told him what we wanted to do and how we wanted it to look - he gave me helpful thoughts on how to keep our design yet improve it. Next, Nathan prepared a comprehensive estimate for us, detailing every item that would be part of our job. This estimate was in stark contrast to one paragraph job summaries that we received from other contractors - Pristine really thought through our project and all its attributes. Nathan then came over again so we could walk the spaces a second time and think about whether we had any changes - such thoroughness. We figured out things like where a light switch should be and how high the tile should come above a tub. Next, Nathan and I met one morning at the fixture store and then the tile store - he patiently guided me through the process of handpicking everything that would go into our upgraded bathrooms. This experience highlighted for me another one of the incredible benefits of working with Nathan and Mike: not only do they have the best people working on their construction team, they know the local materials market and can immediately connect their clients with reliable, well-priced vendors with whom they work regularly. What a relief and convenience! The start of our job was on-time. As our three-month project proceeded, I was so impressed with the Pristine workers - each worker was completely professional and experienced in his trade. Also, Mike and Nathan coordinated with the workers every day - often by on-site visits - so I was never in the role of foreman on our job. As the job unfolded, Mike and Nathan would immediately tell me if there was an additional item to consider (for example, we had galvanized vertical pipe in one of the bathrooms - easy to replace when the walls were already down) and would give me the precise cost of the additional work. Mike and Nathan would also drill down on tricky parts of the job and give me options if needed. For example, one of the bathrooms had different vertical walls on the two sides of a tub so the walls could not be tiled identically. Mike gave me several different options for finishing the walls so they looked even. I picked the most labor-intensive option (on one side, cutting the subway tiles in half and coming down the wall) and, instead of looking frustrated that I'd chosen it, Mike said he agreed that it was the best choice. Mike and Pristine's amazing tile guy then got to work on the floor mapping out the mathematics of the tilework. (As a side note, our tile work is exquisite - our bathrooms look like bathrooms in a five-star hotel). I will spring ahead to the end of the job now to when many other contractors might disappear and leave items left undone. When our job was winding up, Mike came over and made a list of items that needed attention. He literally was looking for anything and everything that might need a touch-up! Then he asked me for our list to make absolutely certain that everything was finished as we wanted. Nathan and Mike will not leave a job site until the client is 100% happy with the work. There are so many other elements of the job that were executed with excellence and care. Nathan and Mike and all the Pristine workers are an exceptional team. We are so pleased to have worked with them and hope to do so again! read more

We just completed a major design and renovation project on our kitchen, as well as refinishing floors and woodwork on the entire first floor. Everything was repainted including the exterior of our home. I can't say enough wonderful things about Nathan Moses and his crew. All work was completed on time or even ahead of schedule, and on budget other than upgrades that we requested. The entire team was professional and compulsive, and they were even very kind to our elderly dog who seemed to enjoy watching them work every day! I would insist on Pristine again the next time our home needs work. No substitutes! read more

Wow ! What a great job from Pristine Construction did for us. Nathan remodeled our kitchen and bathroom. His crew did a marvelous job and we will definitely use them again and recommend them to our family and friends. Thank you guys for making our home fabulous!!! read more

Pristine Construction is the best construction company I have ever worked with. They have done 2 major remodel jobs for me totaling over $140,000. They totally remodeled my kitchen, 2 bathrooms, bar, fireplace and other projects. Nathan & Mike are so professional and respectful and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend them for any new construction or remodel job you have. read more

My kitchen remodel was just completed a couple days ago. I must say that I'm quite impressed by this company. I've heard so many horror stories about contractors and was so worried to put our home into the wrong hands. I've done a lot of research and read a lot of reviews in order to find the right company, and I'm happy to say that We didn't fall victim to the wrong contractor. Pristine Construction has shown professionalism and integrity with a great eye for design. From the beginning, I explained that my kitchen needed to be fully remodeled by the beginning of February because we were celebrating a family wedding in our home. He assured us that without question, the job would be completed on time even if he had to work overtime. Well, my kitchen came out absolutely beautiful and almost 2 weeks before my event. We couldn't have asked for a better company to take on our remodeling job. No question we will use them next time we're ready. read more

Nathan, Mike and Gal did a stellar job of installing air conditioning in our house built in 1947. It was a tough job, entailing re-doing our messed-up heating system and coordinating it with new air system. Nathan told us each day what to expect the next day, and his estimate for the duration and cost of the job was accurate. The crew on the job started promptly at 8 every workday, worked steadily and cleaned up before they left each day. 'Pristine' is an accurate description for the caliber of work this company does! read more

My husband and I hired Pristine Construction to remodel our 3rd bathroom, which will become our first baby's bathroom this December. Their workmanship, professionalism, and especially their attention to detail are what truly set them apart from other companies we have worked with. We met first with Nathan to explain our project, and he was happy to come meet us during the evening when my husband would be home from work. Knowing their reputation for such high-quality work, and that we would be such a small project for them, we were concerned that we wouldn't be able to afford to go with Pristine. Luckily, we were wrong. Nathan gave us an estimate that evening before he left that we felt was very reasonable, and that was even a little bit lower than what the other company we met with (and didn't like as much) had proposed. I called him the next day to sign the contract, and we were off and running. Nathan went to a kitchen and bath store with me to help look at fixtures and make recommendations, so that I wouldn't be so overwhelmed by the options. He was also available by text or phone whenever I had a big or small question about materials or process, and I never had a hard time getting a hold of him, even though I knew he was working on other jobs at the time. The night before the work started, Shelly from the office called to tell me when the dumpster and porta-potty would arrive and exactly what to expect when the workers showed up. She continued to check in with me through the length of the project to make sure I was happy with the work and see if I had any questions or concerns. On the first day of work, the guys made sure that any floors they would work or walk on were well-covered and put extra effort into tightly covering my piano with plastic, because I was worried about the dust from the remodel. Mike was the lead Project Manager on our job, and he was very helpful and patient in explaining the process and answering any questions I had. I never felt stupid asking him a question, and always felt like he was 'looking out for me' and making sure that everything was done as well as he would want it done in his own home. That is really what impressed me about Pristine - they never cut any corners or took the easy way out - they really had a lot of pride in their work and did everything how it SHOULD be done, even if it took a little extra time or effort. For instance, we had chosen circular bubble accent tile, and rather than just cutting a straight line down the circles to made a 10" strip, Mike had our tile guy meticulously pull the small circles from one section of the accent and fill in gaps with these smaller pieces, so that our accent stripe is made up of perfectly-placed circles rather than randomly cut semi-circles. The tile guy also spent an hour with me figuring out the ideal arrangement of our shower tile so that the wavy pattern would not only look seamless across the wall, but that there wouldn't be any awkwardly thin pieces above or below the window or at the top or bottom of the shower - all while minimizing the number of pieces we would need to buy. When we had delays in receiving some of the finishing materials I had ordered, I was worried because I knew Pristine had other jobs to do and probably wanted to finish ours up on time, get paid and move on. But Nathan and Mike said it was no big deal, they finished what they could, then came back for the last day of installation once our remaining items had arrived. They even did little 'extras' for us - such as hang our ceiling fans in other rooms, install and re-wire smoke detectors, and fix our leaking bathtub drain (the bathtub was the one original thing we kept - so the leak wasn't their fault, but Mike came back after the job was over to fix it anyway). I'm sure most companies would have nickel-and-dimed us for such add-ons, but Pristine did it all as part of their commitment to excellent customer service. When the job was done, the men thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and left everything just as 'pristine' as they had found it - so they have definitely earned their name! We will not hesitate to call Nathan again for any future work we need done at our home. read more

After interviewing several firms, we hired Pristine Construction to remodel two bathrooms in our house. We are so glad we did. Pristine was reliable, responsive, did impeccable work, and completed everything on time and on budget. They were very detail oriented and met with us several times to go over everything before they started to ensure that the finished product was exactly what we wanted. Their workers were hardworking, trustworthy, kept our house immaculately clean and showed up every day on time. Whenever I would call with questions or suggestions, I would immediately receive a call or text back in response. The owners, Nathan and Mike, bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied in every way and took great pride in their work. The finished product exceeded our expectations and we absolutely love our two beautiful bathrooms. We would highly recommend Pristine Construction and would use them again without hesitation. read more

Nathan and Mike were a dream team to work with on our project in Pasadena. My wife and I chose Pristine after reviewing and meeting with a total of 3 contractors to do a home remodel that included 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The price was competitive and my wife and I just had that good feeling with them both. The combination of design skills and common sense and outstanding construction problem solving skills became clear from the very beginning of the project. They worked well with us and we were close to being on budget and we are sure that if we had not involved an outside designer in the beginning, we would have remained within budget and used materials that still would have resulted in a beautiful final product. The crew was fabulous and the few sub contractors that were used were top drawer. You can rely on "the team" to give you a final result that you will love and enjoy. We have one more minor project to do and Pristine will be the ones doing it. read more

We hired Pristine to remodel our guest bathroom. It was the first time my husband and I had gone through a remodel, and we knew that picking the right contractor was really key to having a good experience. Some of our friends had used Pristine for their remodel and since they had prior remodeling experience with other contractors, we trusted their opinion when they spoke very highly of Pristine. I must say that Pristine set the bar high-- all of the potential issues that you see or hear with contractors and remodels-- didn't happen to us! Our remodel was completed on time, on budget, and I am completely satisfied with the final product. Communication was very good between the office staff in letting us know the different stages of the remodel process. We worked closely with Mike almost everyday, and I felt like he did a great job explaining to me what was happening during the day, the things I needed to consider, and I always felt like he listened to any questions/concerns that I had. The workers always arrived on time and were very professional and cared about the work that they were doing. Before leaving everyday, they tidied up the area very neatly, which I appreciated. Given our very positive experience, Pristine will the be the first company that we call when we are ready for another remodel! read more

I am sorry it has taken me this long to write my glowing review of Pristine Construction! They completed a kitchen remodel for us in February and we are thrilled with the results. In the past we have had some nightmarish experiences so we were reluctant to take this project on. But after reading all the positive reviews and meeting the team in person we moved ahead and we are so glad we did. From the start, Nathan patiently worked with us to draw up the plans, scope of work, budget and timeline. His expertise and suggestions made all the difference in ensuring we made the most out of the space we have. He met me at the tile store to select the backsplash, he has a good eye for design and style. Once the project got underway Mike was on site overseeing their own personal crew for flawless execution. Mike also lent his expertise in helping me to select final touches like drawer pulls, kitchen faucet and lighting. The crew were courteous and neat. Every day I received emails or phone calls from Emma in the office updating me on what was happening, who was coming and going, when payments were due, etc. I felt completely looped in and reassured at the overall coordination of all the people involved. This is a top notch company. The project was completed on time and on budget. We are thrilled with the results. Even my children's friends remark that it looks like an HGTV remodel! Nathan and Mike are honest, detail oriented and very professional. It was a pleasure to work with them. We would recommend them to anyone and already have! read more

Construction started yesterday, so I will write an update when the work is completed. I called Pristine construction because of the stellar reviews on Angie's list and from the first phone call I could see why they have the reviews they have. Nathan called me right back to set up an appointment. His bid was right in line with other bids that I had gotten so I hired him. I told him I would need help with design concept and picking out all materials, he said "that's what I do". So after signing the contract we met a few days later to begin the shopping process. He had great ideas and really streamlined the process of picking out tiles, granite, and fixtures. The part I was dreading the most was actually fun. The first two days have been very smooth. Nathan and Mike have been checking in every day and updating me on what has been done and what will be done next. The crew has been very courteous and have been keeping the area as clean as possible. I am excited to see the end result! Update to come in a few weeks.... read more
