I've been to a few dry cleaners in the area but non have been as unprofessional as Pristine Cleaners. I dropped off approximately 8 shirts and 1 pair of work pants. They quoted me and let me know that it would be ready the following week (about 5 days...). I go to pick up the clothes on that day and they inform me that they are not ready and that I have to come back in another 2 days. So I go back 2 days later and they only give me 5 shirts and my work pants. They somehow managed to lose all the tags on the other shirts and had no idea which ones were mine. I then had to come back a few days later and they provided me a lineup of 10 shirts that I had to find my 3 shirts in... These were relatively new shirts so I wasn't 100% they were mine. Worst part is, they didn't even offer me any compensation for their lack of professionalism and absent mindedness. If you are hoping to get back all your clothes, I would avoid this place. If you are hoping to get a quick turnaround on your clothes, I would avoid this place. They get 2 stars because its next to a Zankou Chicken. At least you can get some good food while you wait for someone to lose your stuff! read more

That being said, the turn around was over a week (2 comforters & 3 curtain panels) and prices for comforters were almost double what I had paid at my last cleaners in Hollywood ($25 vs $45). There's a fee for using a card, which is always a bummer and if they can't remove a stain they will still charge you for the cleaning. Decent dry cleaning for a small location corner store in a plaza. The staff is nice, since I was a first timer they offered to do the belt on the jacket I brought in free of charge. However, they did promise to have it done in 5 days, but when I returned I was informed it would take an extra day. For myself I'm pretty close to the Glendale area so it was only a minor inconvenience, however if I was not a local, I can see this would be frustrating for some people.
