She basically said it was OK for my ex to leave me even though I've never done anything wrong to deserve it. This therapist never took into account my ex's history of alcoholism in her family which fostered issues that had manifested themselves long before my showing up and now my little girl gets to grow up without her father in her daily life. I absolutely implore you to not give this woman a cent of your money nor a minute of your time. Her license should be revoked.

Pacific Quest seemed different from other programs we had considered, so we were hopeful for some positive change when we send her 5 thousand miles away. After the first few weeks it was clear that the program and the clinical staff were even better than we have hoped. Their holistic approach to health, emphasizing healthy diet, sleep, exercise and time in nature, balancing meds and supplements had an immediate positive impact. The care, kindness and respect that the highly qualified clinical team showed our daughter allowed her to trust and be vulnerable in her individual therapy as well as our family sessions. She learned so much about herself, her emotions and how to manage and name them, while we learned better ways to communicate with her and within our family, and how to repair broken trust. She is now attending an alternative boarding school, and for the first time in a long time, we are optimistic for her future and our family relationships. Hawaii is a magical place, and all the staff at PQ, the therapist, the medical team and the program team, make Pacific Quest a truly magical healing place. I highly recommend it.

I don't particularly wish to…read moredisclose all of what I was suffering from, but to list a few of my complaints about Pacific Quest, they were extremely unaccommodating with my dietary preferences, refused to let me contact my therapist from home, and the staff would frequently isolate me not just from other kids but also from staff interaction. After opening up to on-site, assigned therapists, I was later directly told that they had not believed a word I had said about my life. It was only after a parental visit corroborating my stories, diagnosis, and struggles that the staff seemed interested in actually tending to my care. Ten years later, I have plenty of trauma and developed personality traits that I took away from Pacific Quest that I am still unpacking -- with a therapist who believes me and actually cares about my well-being, of course. I will never forget how I was treated.

Mr.Hashimoto does not willingly give feedback back us, the parents so we have no idea why he began purposely not joining the links to the telemedicine appts he was sending us via text. He was unwilling to check why the links weren't working and instead left my kid in the telemedicine waiting room while choosing to speak down to me on a phone call about him not making it to the appt. We sent screen shots of my kid's phone waiting in the virtual waiting room and he did not reply. I sent a message asking what was going on in the client portal. It's been two weeks- no reply. He erased all of our appts we had with him for tomorrow and the following care my kid had planned for the next few months. Just like that- no conversation, no correspondence- just stopped all care for my kiddo with no idea why. Super unprofessional no matter how you slice it. My kid is a sweetheart, doesn't understand why their care is over and thinks it's their fault - which sucks because we see this therapist due to anxiety, self doubt and self worth issues.
