After the first few weeks it was clear that the program and the clinical staff were even better than we have hoped. Their holistic approach to health, emphasizing healthy diet, sleep, exercise and time in nature, balancing meds and supplements had an immediate positive impact. The care, kindness and respect that the highly qualified clinical team showed our daughter allowed her to trust and be vulnerable in her individual therapy as well as our family sessions. She learned so much about herself, her emotions and how to manage and name them, while we learned better ways to communicate with her and within our family, and how to repair broken trust. She is now attending an alternative boarding school, and for the first time in a long time, we are optimistic for her future and our family relationships. Our son has been in the adolescent program for the past 13 weeks and will be transitioning to a boarding school next week. He has made a lot of progress in the last 3 months and he is in a much better place than when he arrived. He is now ready and looking forward to transitioning to a boarding school and Pacific Quest has prepared him well for this transition. All of the staff has been very helpful, responsive, and professional. My son's therapist at Pacific Quest was a good fit and facilitated some great communication between us and our son. Another great experience was the Family Program visit where we were able to visit our son and spend a few days with him. Lack of professionalism and lack of communication is where admin struggles. There is also a really high turn over rate for workers. Consistency is key for working with people with disabilities, which they do not have.
