The staff asked if I needed help once and left me alone to peruse. Now I must confess that the outside of the store makes it look like its from either a horror set or a strip club (the female mannequins in lingerie set under glaring red light are terrifying)--how gauche! I am not the sort to patronize a red light district! I'm glad that it did not deter me, however, as soon as I walked it it was quite clean and classy. *Whew* I admit that I had never set foot in such a place, before I walked in, but it was worth the trip. I find it incredibly ironic that I sit here in a corset*, writing a review of an adult store. Odder…read morestill that my visit to Adam & Eve was sandwiched between back-to-back visits to two other adult stores. 'Twas a mad dash for bachelorette party props that found me spending my evening in such an unusual way. But I can safely say seeing these stores all in one night really opened my eyes as to how they compare, and if I were to rank from worst to best, in terms of variety, it would fall: Adam & Eve (just the basics; and more tame), Cherry Pie (greater selection), Frisky Business (large range of lingerie/costumes and niche items not found elsewhere). Sadly, as far as bachelorette stuff, they all kind of had the same. *Having just returned from a Rocky Horror Show live performance (and being the only audience member in costume, I might add. Good thing I opted not to accessorize with fishnets).
