If I had to describe their sales team in one word - pushy. I don't like pushy. I came in around 1:30p on Black Friday because I wanted to check out the Kona in person. Nice ride, but I discovered sub-compact SUVs are smaller than I'd like (a big reason why I want to come in for a looksee). Still, though, I like the Kona and would seriously consider it, but... Andrea showed me the Kona, but we got sidetracked when I asked if they offer ANY cars in stick. Oddly enough, they have a 2018 Elantra on site, so I went ahead and gave it a look. Upon glancing at it, I didn't like it, plus the mileage was at 30K - too high for my liking. We went back inside and took a look at the 2021 Elantra, which was more impressive than the 2018. The wild part is during my visit, I was briefly handed over to a Sales Manager, Melissa, who really leaned in with the 2018 Elantra. I guess my inquiry into available manuals stuck out, because later she stopped me on my way out to "follow up" about that 2018 Elantra. I told her I wasn't interested, even though I already told Andrea the same thing, but I got that feeling they wanted to dump the ride on me. I mean, c'mon, man, I know I asked about manual but that doesn't mean I'm gonna automatically buy a car because it's stick. Gtfoh. Just to clarify, Andrea wasn't pushy, but she felt kinda new - she had some sort of questionnaire that she used to ask some standard questions regarding what I'm looking for in a car. Andrea's newness is likely why Melissa stepped in. Anyways, the point I'm making is I don't ever want to feel pressured to buy. Even if I exclaim, "I want to buy a car right now!" I don't respond well to pressure for a retail purchase. I honestly wasn't there to buy on the spot - I'm not that impulsive, so pumping the brakes, even just a little, would've been great. I read some good reviews on the Kona and wanted to see her in person, that's all. Instead, 2 people tried to convince me to buy a car that wasn't the Kona. Eh, I'm out. If I decide on a Hyundai, I'll likely check out another Hyundai dealership. JV read more

Extremely disappointed with my experience with the service center. I originally came here for an engine replacement over a month ago which was a long process with bare minimum communication. Shortly after my recall engine replacement, my car wouldn't start. I got it towed back there to see if it was something that wasn't connected correctly when the engine was installed. Two weeks later I hadn't received any updates about just a diagnosis. Ive now tried for 3 days in a row and counting to get a hold of someone, anyone, service advisor/manager. The woman who did answer the phone said she didn't have access to my account. And that the manager must not have been at his desk. And that my service advisor was off. The whole process has been beyond exhausting. My car has now been towed to another local business whose communication has been fantastic. There were times when my service advisor Hailey was even rude, seems like many people have problems with her customer service. Something to look into. read more

Do not ever your bring a vehicle for service to Priority Hyundai! The worst possible customer service I've ever encountered in my life! They had my car for a warranty covered engine replacement for 8 weeks, and they only gave me a loaner car for one of those weeks. Then we finally pick it up after all this time and it has various warning lights going on and off. Brought it back and they re-set something to make them go off and couldn't find anything. Guess what- they are all back on again. No one responds; no one calls back. So many excuses and we are stuck with them while we wait for them to finish the job they started 9 weeks ago. read more

dont do busy with priority hyundia to priority hyundia you are not a priority. you are anything but a priority . the service department employee are rude, inconsiderate, dont answer your calls, dont return your calls, charge your for diagnoses that they should not, causes situations on your car to get you to repair and cost for you. i can go and on, but i wont. just know, they can care less about their customers, all they want is your money. dont purchase your car from there... run as fast as you can to another dealer. im serious, you are not a priority to them, go someplace else and spend your time and money. dont go by thie five stars you see from me. that was a mistake and i tried to make it a one star, it automatically made it five and i xoukd not change it. run dont walk from this dealship. read more

On June 9, 2025, I took my 2020 Tuscan ( that I purchased from Priority) in for its maintenance after scheduling an appointment weeks prior. After dropping my vehicle off, I received a call the next morning from a lady ( don't remember her name) telling me she didn't know why my vehicle was there and I informed her that I had an appointment and received text messages from the dealer. She apologized for the tone she took with me. On July 9, my vehicle was making a clicking sound, so I decided to check my oil, and my oil stick was dry as a bone, and there was no oil...... I had to purchase oil because I was not able to get to the dealer. I called to inform someone about my issue, and the lady asked me if I wanted to make an appointment. Really!!! I take responsibility for this because this is the second time I paid for an oil change, only to realize later that I had no oil in my vehicle. I should have taken a video, but I did not. I have been a priority customer for 20 years, and this is my 3rd vehicle. The service has declined immensely, and I hope someone takes the time to get this together. All businesses are shorthanded, but we can all make sure we take our time to ensure what customers pay for is completed. read more

This dealership is TRASH! This place is SO disorganized when you walk in. No one to help or give directions. They are going through renovations so i understand it being a bit chaotic but that's not the issue. Went to drop my car off at 2pm for an oil change and was told it wouldn't be ready until 5:30PM. Okay??? Never got the call that it was ready. Ended up having to pick it up the next day. Got a call at 8:30AM the next day about a nail in my tire. Ok no one mentioned that to me until the next day. Then was told it would be another 3 1/2 hrs for them to do that. Wtf???? THEN get to my car to have my seat soaked like they left my windows down in the pouring rain.. water all in my car. Not to mention, i had to walk all around the lot to find my vehicle because there was no direction as to where my vehicle was. Man y'all do not go here. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Hyundai dealership. read more

They want to check everything that might be wrong with your car instead of simply concentrating on the reason you brought your car in for. This might be one of the reasons they take so long and charge you so much on the bill. It always seems like it's the Titanic sinking when I go there and the staff is struggling to lower all of the very few lifeboats that are on the ship and fending off the passengers who are in shock. read more

I bought my car there 6 years ago and overall, its been a positive experience. Definitely not perfect, though. Purchasing the car went smoothly. The one minor negative during purchasing was the salesman fibbed a little about features, but that is to be expected from car salesmen - and techinically allowed in the sales contract. It wasnt a big deal, as I knew the facts beforehand. Ultimately, the vast majority of the time was - and still is - with service. The free oil changes and state inspections are great. They used to have shuttle service, but that stopped with COVID and they never started it back up. That is the biggest disappointment. Unless you want to wait there for hours or if you cant get a free ride, you have to call Lyft/Uber/taxi and then any money you were saving is gone. Again, the service department has been most great. There have been minor annoyances with the service throughout the years, again nothing that would make me stop going there, like trying to sell me unnecessary repairs. But here is the most recent negative example: I just brought my car in for the state inspection a few days ago. It failed for the wiper blades - and I agree they should be replaced. They said they would replace them for $65. If you dont know cars, you wouldnt know this is an absolutely absurd price. You can get 5-star rated wipers from Amazon for a little over $10 and even if you have never replaced wipers blades before, it requires no tools and the entire process should take less than 5 minutes to from star to finish. They are just trying to take advantage of captive and possibly ignorant customers. Again, this shouldnt surprise anyone, they are trying to make money I said no, ordered new blades and put them on. Then I had to go back for the re-inspection. However, if they had said its just wipers, we will replace them for free, that would cost them next to nothing and inspire so much goodwill... my 2 cents. read more

Unfortunately, I needed service for my Hyundai. I've never been here before. I spoke with a representative in the parts department but couldn't make an appointment until the car was towed there. I called 20 minutes after the car was picked up, ( destination was 1.2 miles for delivery) and was told I had to wait until it was entered into their system. I asked them to call me back when they got that info, etc. 2 hours later, I called back, and he told me the tow driver had JUST dropped off the car and keys. I said I wondered where the tow truck driver was with my car for 2 hours since it was picked up 1 mile from them? More to this, never returning. But I did call the tow office, knowing Priority lied but wanting validation, got it. My car was dropped off 15 minutes after pick up. Please don't lie to me. read more

I purchased our vehicle ten years ago from Priority Hyundai. I have taken advantage of the priorities for life the entire time and truly value it. I went in for some service in addition to our free oil change. I was greeted by Dajor who was handling all of the incoming vehicles by himself. He was hustling but still took the time to warmly greet me and take care of me. At the end of the day I went to pick up my vehicle and he was still there just as friendly and accommodating as in the early morning. This young man is a true Priority asset! Thank you ! read more

Very good service experience. They got me in and got me out. Nice new service area. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Great dealership to buy an auto but service department quality is deplorable! Their employees are rude, argumentive, and are not well trained. Some of my oil change maintenance work was not logged in the system which makes it look like we had not maintained our maintenance in accordance with the warranty. read more

Went to buy a car from a guy. Was very rude and talked down to me. I truly believe it was because I was black. Either that or the fact that I was young. I don't like to pull the race card but he judged me from the moment I walked in. On top of that he told me he couldn't give me any off sticker price, even when I pulled up KBB and other sites. After a while he went and got the manager who offered me a deal, still not one I really wanted but at least it was better than telling me that she couldn't do anything for me. I gave up after 2 attempts, went down the street and bought a car the same day. Pro tip: don't judge and talk down on your customers from the jump. It made me really not want to purchase a car and I really wanted a Hyundai too. I literally wrote off every other brand and y'all talked down on me. I had cash and paid cash for my car. Don't judge someone by the way they look and while I do believe it was racist I'll concede it could've been because I looked young. read more

We called a few weeks in advance and schedule an appt. I don't know why we bother because we almost always tell them we need it back ASAP as it's our only vehicle. The last time we stayed and waited it took almost 4 HOURS, so we drop it off now. So today they do the oil change and state inspection. They close at 5:30pm. We get here at 5 because with our luck they'll call as they close. So they keep telling us "10 more minutes, 10 more minutes" and here I am almost 30 minutes later waiting. My husband actually just noticed that they didn't even put the state inspection sticker on. So guess who won another trip down to Priority unfortunately. Their customer service is awful, truly. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want to be treated poorly or if you like being told "I'm not sure". read more

Wish I could give less then one for customer service alone. They don't call you when parts come in. They will always take the full day to fix anything. That's if they get it fixed at all. The manager doesn't call back when asked too. The service departments consultants are rude and sarcastic. After sitting in the waiting area for hours and missing an appointment they tell me to come back when the car messes up again this was the second time they told me this over the same issue. I'm thankful that our warranty is up so that we don't have to feel pressure to come here ever again. read more

Went in to look at Hyundai Tucsons and left with a gorgeous brand new one thanks to my awesome car salesman, Mike Habib! Mike has been both mine and my family's go-to car salesman now for well over 6 years. We all now consider Mike a great friend as he has helped up with so many of our past and current cars. Mike always keeps it real with you as to what will work best for you within your budget! This is my second purchase now from Mike at Priority Hyundai and I am so happy with my new 2023 Tuscon! I would highly recommend to anyone that they should work with Mike for their next trade-in or new purchase. He gets the job done efficiently and never fails to keep his clients happy! We bought a 2024 vehicle and had to bring it back to fix a ding that was in the door, which was quite daunting, but it was eventually resolved after a month of back and forth. However, when we dropped off the vehicle for the repair, there was a piece of trim missing and there were dimples in a couple of other trim pieces. We were told they will be ordered and would receive a call when they arrive. Since then, all we have gotten was the run around. We've been told that the parts came in and that someone would call us to schedule the service. We never received the call to schedule service, even after several attempts to call them. I also reached out to the salesperson several times to no avail. Not sure what we have to do to get a car repaired here. This is incredibly terrible customer service, and I can assure that, at this point, I don't know if we will even consider using the dealership again for further vehicle purchases. read more

Kudos to Liz who overheard me talking to the person in parts and said come on I'll show you where you need to go. She got me scheduled for the programming. She is top notch. They are doing some renovating right now and it's going to be fantastic when it's finished. recall appt scheduled for Nov 7. Everyone I talk to and dealt with has been super. We had an unexpected vehicle breakdown that was well beyond what our car was worth, with no guarantee that those repairs would be the extent of the needed repairs. We opted to buy a pre-owner vehicle in lieu of a new purchase. We looked and looked and found and settled on a Hundai. Priority Hundai has the best deals we could find given our timeline. Ian, the sales person, was very engaging, transparent, and pleasant to work with. The sales manager got us within $2 of our targeted car note. We ended up in a 2017 Santa Fe Sport with 42k miles for just a little over 18k out the door. The buying experience was typical however straight fwd and faster than others we've experienced. The warranty/finance person seemed a bit pushy with the extended warranties and came off as disengaged once I declined the extended warranties. There were some discrepancies, one they we noticed at the time of purchase (rust spot on the hood), and another one while driving it-maybe a wheel bearing...a wobbling sound at moderate to higher speeds, that we will be bringing back to the dealership to get taken care of. Bottom line, pleased with the overall experience! read more

I can't stress this enough do not lease a car from Hyundai, or this dealership!! We leased our Car from here, they processed the paperwork incorrectly. We are a military family which means we get a tax break on personal property taxes. But because they didn't check mark that section of the paper work each year we get a bill for $800+. Which ok fine we contact the city of VA beach and they correct it no issues. But here's the issue, since the car is technically owned by the Hyundai financial the bill gets sent to them! Which I've spoken to a few higher ups and insured me there were notes on my account to not pay said bill till they speak to me, they still pay bill in full!! And demand the money!! When I've spoken to Hyundai the countless times they are clueless, they have no special department for this and basically a oh well attitude, I've spoken with the city and they again are super helpful and have said all They need to do is call us and we will Confirm the refund check was sent out! But get this in the mean time if you don't pay Hyundai they will Obviously make your account late! I've requested a copy of the bill since they've never sent me a actual bill, the bill isn't even do till Months later!! Update: I've spoken to the city, they can confirm check of refund was cashed, Hyundai now is telling me it takes 8/10 Weeks to Reflect on my account!!!! But they have no issue making me pay for something that isn't even due for months! The whole experience with them has just been awful! read more

We went in to get a new palisade and we understand that it's in high demand but to not make a customer feel valued or like you care at all to work with anyone it's unfortunate. You all had the mindset that you will sell the car anyway so our business didn't matter. I just hope you all remember that customer service will always matter over price.
