I used this shop a year ago and decided to use them again. This time I needed the engine mounts…read morereplaced. I arrived at the shop as soon as they opened and dropped off my vehicle. I was told I would receive a phone call when the work was done, but about an hour before they closed, I had not heard from them so I called. I was told the vehicle was ready for pickup and got there right away. The following day I looked over my vehicle and noticed that there was grease coming from the driver side front axle and it had leaked all over the suspension, steering, and wheel. The grease was leaking past the inner cv joint boot clamp which I believed was due to them during the removal/install of the axle. I told the owner of the shop the problem I was having, and he said "that's strange since they didn't remove the axles but used a jig to lift the engine" but he said he would look at the problem. He stated that the boot had slipped and they had to reposition it and re-band. I also had the brake booster replaced during this visit. Once I arrived home, I looked over the vehicle and noticed that the front axle had some fluid on it and opened the hood and saw that the master cylinder was overfilled and leaked brake fluid below it. I also noticed that there was a plastic cover lodged below the master cylinder and I tried to remove it but it was stuck. I then opened the driver's door and noticed that the footwell light wasn't on. In addition, the air ducting in the foot well was loose and not connected. I removed the panel to gain access to it and found the footwell light wiring was not connected and repositioned the ducting and connected them both. I also noticed that there was a screw underneath the floor mat and was wondering where that mounts and after a short inspection of the area I found where it needed to go. I looked under the vehicle and noticed all four brake bleeder screw dust covers were not reconnected. I noticed that the driver side front axle looked old and determined that the axle must have been replaced due to the inspection paint marks made at the factory did not match the color of the other areas on the vehicle. Also, if the axle boot was readjusted and re-banded like the owner stated, then why were there old clamps on the axle boots? Additionally, the plenum cover at the base of the windshield had about 2 feet of the mounting tab broken that the gasket is fitted to. I found broken plastic pieces on the splash shield underneath the vehicle. The work accomplished by this shop was very sloppy and careless. I would avoid this shop at all costs. I highly suggest that you find another repair shop to go to or pay the high fee at the dealership to have your vehicle repaired.

Called up BMW and their first appointment was 2 weeks away.. looking around at alternatives and came across Auto Envy.. they said bring the car in tomorrow and they will give me an assessment... Dropped the car off and later that afternoon they diagnosed bad oxygen sensors and the ignition coils also need to be replaced.. the cost of repair was about half the price BMW dealer quoted a year ago saying that the oxygen sensors were going back agreed to the repair and had my car back the next day running like new again.. This is a small mom/pop type shop that specializes in BMW repairs.. Friendly Staff, good prices, and great communication. Highly recommended if you need work done on your BMW!!!

I took it to a mechanic where I live (FL), and got the shifter fixed. $800 job. that was fixed but the shifting issues came back almost immediately, and this time accompanied by a chirping sound. I took the truck back & my mechanic asked more questions about the work I'd gotten done. I hadn't owned a car in the last 10 years so I didn't know anything. He encouraged me to call them and find out what kind of work was done so they could see if it was related to that and if there was a warranty on it. I called and got a rude person who made sure to tell me that they aren't the same ownership "so WEEE didn't do any work on the truck," she said. I asked if she could get me the information, she put me on hold for 10 minutes, then we got... disconnected. I called right back and got somebody much nicer, who told me what work they did, but was unable to email me any of the information and I guess also unable to find somebody who could do so for her. My mechanic had to call them to get them to send along the information we needed. Turns out all the issues were from the shoddy first job. Great. Better still, it would be covered by the warranty. Turns out labor there was like $300 cheaper than the place I go to now, so I'm not saying you get what you pay for. More that Precise offers a good value when they do the job well (new management, so maybe they do) I understand new ownership means that's not their fault. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they didn't do the shoddy work. They just wouldn't help me at all when I needed them to. My truck is running great now, so I hope you find a mechanic as good as the one I have now. Maybe it's Precise. I don't know.

Decided to stop by Speedy since it was in the most convenient location for me, and if I had to wait or leave my car then so be it.
