Helpful , kind service for small print jobs. Nice space. Easy to park .....why is there a minimum word count anyways?

Been using Harvey for 14 years and over the years we've become good friends but also this happened over the years: the inconsistency in price and customer service became unbearable! Horrible communications for someone who's proud of being in business for decades. Too many mistakes have happened and zero responsibility taken. After detecting typos in an artwork, emailed well in advance and asked for a different file to be printed. Of course, never any confirmation or acknowledgement is ever sent out, you always have to hope for the best. And in the end, wrong file was printed!!! A common size 11x17 half fold...I was advised to get 12x18 paper and cut it down to the desired size. Seems like extra work for something this common. I have attached photos. If you think this type of end result is acceptable you should go ahead and use their services. It's almost impossible to pay the same price for the same job twice. Something that was printed a few weeks ago for one price, is not 20% higher and all of a sudden the size that was printed perfectly fine last time is no longer possible to print so we have to change the size of the product entirely. Then I was sent a proof that was stretched. There is no way I can accept that so after going back and forth several time I was told to go find another printer to print my job. I came in earlier this morning, before the business was even open in a bit of a tizzy, as I forgot to bring along an important document for a nearby business. They were so helpful, quick and calm. I left a few minutes later with everything I needed. They really saved the day, and they were super kind in the process. 11/10 for customer service!! read more

The lady who works at the front is rude as hell. I needed a document printed she slid me a card with an email address and I emailed it. The email bounced and I let her know that it bounced. I first asked do you have wifi, she said no when there is clearly three wifi connections available. I said can I log in to print it she told me no. Then said we don't offer this type of service. I don't even know what other services you offer but you can keep all of them. read more

We had our wedding invitations printed here and they made a couple of embarrassing spelling errors. They showed us the proof prior to the final printing and we pointed out the mistakes so the owner promised to correct them. Instead, they went ahead and printed the cards with all the spelling errors without making the corrections and without showing us a new proof. The owner refused to reprint the cards and refused to refund us our money. Since we had already paid, there was nothing we could do. We were newlyweds on a budget already and were not in a situation to dispute it in court so we just cut our losses and paid again elsewhere for much cheaper invitation cards. We basically got screwed over by this guy.. Shame on him for doing that especially since it was their mistake. read more

I was put in charge of putting together a calendar and member directory for our Synagogue. I delivered to Harvey what I thought was a print ready project on Monday with a due date of Friday. I was wrong. Harvey called me and asked me to come in to go over the project with him, and we quickly discovered what the problem was. Finding a good print shop can be a time consuming work. It wasted my 3 days to find Harvey who helped me prepare my artwork for free. Highly recommend! I had several projects in mind for a newly opened small business such as brochures, letterheads, envelopes, etc. I did quite a bit of research and visited multiple print shops in the Glendale and La Canada area before deciding on this one. Printing by Harvey not only had the most reasonable pricing, but they also matched the much higher priced printers in terms of quality. The owner was very patient with me and knowledgeable. He helped me get my projects just right. There ended up being an issue with my brochures and it was addressed promptly and reasonably. Because of the pricing, quality, and especially the customer service I will definitely continue to use Printing by Harvey for all of my future business needs.
