Took a photo to get enlarged on Tuesday. Told them I need it ASAP. Said it would be done by Wednesday and an email would come showing how the picture would look for my approval. Morning comes, no email. Afternoon, no email. I had to call to see whats going on. Got rude guy giving me attitude like I owed him money. Long story short, I got the picture on Friday at 5pm. Picture looked like a vegas crack whore who got beat up by her pimp. They put the picture on a COPIER and did enlarge and printed it on picture paper and charged me $16.50. Went to CVS and did my own for $3.99. Rude and incompetent. When there are print shops on every corner, find yourself another place. read more

My family has used Printefex for decades, and I cannot say enough about the quality of their work and their customer service. We order extra large, personalized calendars for the Holidays to distribute as gifts and the calendars never disappoint. It would be easy for me to make my calendars through an app or use an online photo company, but the quality wouldn't be the same and they would be much smaller. Needed a simple print reproduction of some artwork, only 4-5 copies. Seth was super nice, professional, quick, and threw in some extras. My biggest concern was cost and understanding what paper would be best. He was able to walk me through my options, take price into account, and I walked out with 8 prints on heavy paper with a quick color edit in Photoshop to make some tracing lines disappear. 5/5 will use again. I came in to print and make copies and the front worker was not knowledgeable about the pricing. Eventually he called the main person in charge to come and discuss about the pricing. He said the papers will be ready in about an hour and he will give me a call. I called a few hours later and they said it will be ready tomorrow. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! The next day, they did not even call me to tell me the papers were ready. I had to call them and ask and their response was "oh yeah". Ultimately, I do not recommend this place at all. You will be better off finding a better printing shop. read more

I gave them 1 star for the price they charge for a Black & White copy. I couldn't help feeling like I got ripped off. One black/white copy was $1 per copy. Oh my goodness. Yesterday I found myself getting overly emotional at a print shop, of all places. Who am I?! I do some photography as a hobby, and needed prints for a gallery wall I'm working on. I originally filled out a quote online, but figured I should pay the place a visit to get a feel for the papers. Arbi called me up within a few hours and was super helpful in the shop, showing me examples on different papers and answering all my questions. I chose to go with poster paper since it was better than the flyer-grade he showed me. They had photo paper in a luster finish as an option, but this would take a day longer to process and was over twice the cost of poster paper. For my 5 11x17 prints, that would be pretty expensive for something I would just be displaying at home. So I placed my order, paid, and was happily on my way within 30 minutes. I came back later that day, and upon prying open the cardboard protecting my prints, I found that they were on luster photo paper! Arbi wasn't in at the time, so my first thought was- was this a mistake? Maybe they printed one as a mockup to show me- but no, all my photos were there, printed in a format that really showcased the details and color I wanted to capture. It was such a beautiful and unexpected surprise! I was absolutely floored, and practically skipped out of there beaming. I'm really not one to write negative reviews, especially after my long hiatus of writing reviews on yelp, but I was compelled to warn others of the awful customer service I had received at Printefex the other day. With this location being so close to home, it had been my go-to place for dropping by and printing photos--good, fast service at the time. But not this time. Oh no, apparently getting business cards printed here calls for poor customer service and an insult to boot. Seriously?! Is it really so hard to provide a smile and a good customer experience for the service your business is providing? I came here with my file all ready to go, and was looking for a few tips as to how to have my document set-up for print. The woman (who obviously had no real computer skills, as it took her a good while to even locate my file on my flashdrive, even though I was right next to her pointing it out), proceeded in insulting the many things wrong with my file, and that I would need to fix it to have it printed. I kindly smiled, walked out, and have since taken my business elsewhere. And off I went to another, better printing establishment, with prices that were just as competitive, friendly helpful advice, and a promise for quality business cards in a timely manner. A professional photo/video studio couples with HUGE machines that can bust out Step and Repeat banners for red carpet events in under 24 hours. Everything they produce is high quality and to the best standard you could find. They are print people, straight up. Their attention to detail is amazing. The first trip and round of prints came out pretty iffy----they were too dark and I waited too long to reprint them (this place is a really far drive from my house)---but our second and third times printing here the prints came out great. This is the best printer I have ever dealt with and some of the best customer service I have ever received at any business. My wife and I had a very important document that we needed printed in full color as a booklet. I had designed using an off brand program and I had no idea that I needed to have bleed around the edges to create a borderless design. The staff here worked with us while we adjusted our design, printed out several proofs, and were genuinely interested in the success of our project. They trimmed the books by hand to make sure they came out perfect. The colors on the booklet were crisp and vibrant. They do small print jobs on great equipment The price was competitive to other print shops, but the reason I would go back is that I didn't feel like I was getting scammed like at some of the other print shops I talked to in Pasadena where I live. I wanted to get my business cards printed, and I got the worse quality of printing service. The black and the white looked very very bad, like it was done with a printer from the 80s , The way, the actual cards were cut out, was horrible too. I got partial refund, and I just kept 2 cards like example to show what is it that I don't want. I found another place in Burbank which did excellent Job with my business card. But this place, I have no idea how they are still in business doing such bad service printing. I guess for basic basic stuff like printing a photo might be fine. read more

I was on a time sensitive deadline to print photo evidence for a court trial. I needed the prints that morning. I tried printing with CVS but they failed to print my order twice the day before. So I decided to go to a place that specialized in printing and where I thought I could get more personal attention. Although per print (19 cents) I paid more than CVS or Costco (12 cents) at least they could actually process my photos in less than an hour. That is a great value and worth the extra costs in my opinion. Ana was super nice and very understanding regarding the hurry. I would definitely go back to Printefex for my printing needs.
