Princess Nails - My nails!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

Nope. I walked in and was told to sit and soak my feet. Not a word from anyone for 45 minutes. When the technicial finally sat down she did not say hi, sorry for the wait - nothing. She texted on her watch, and looked miserable the entire time. I know its a hard job but the experience was not enjoyable read more

I'm done coming here. The wait is ridiculous and it always takes me an hour to be even started. I have to make sure I have 4 hours out of my day before coming here which is insane. The prices are good but it's just not worth it for a few dollars less than every other place. One time I came here and I was the only person besides one other girl getting her nails done and they still took 25 ish minutes to get started on me read more

Princess Nails - Ombré French almond shape - Nail Salons Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

They have the cheapest prices in town. Literally. $20 for a dip powder manicure??? How can it get any cheaper? Well. Everyone in town must know this because the wait is never short. Ever. I waited 30 minutes the first time and 1 1/2 hours the second time. The first time for dip, she was professional, clean, and did a good job. The second time after waiting for so long, I definitely felt like she rushed through it. They look good, but my nails weren't dipped enough times IMO because the color is still not enough for me. I told her this but she said that if it's too thick it won't be pretty. Well. Okay. I'd go back again if I'm completely free schedule wise, only because of the pricing. You can't beat it. If you're broke but want to look fabulous and are willing to wait and spend over 2 hours in a nail salon - this is your place. If it weren't for wait times I'd give it 4 stars. read more

I got white dip. Came out looking like I had ten marshmallows. They gave no love on the sculpting/shaping. I can do better at home. They let me leave like that after I complained. read more

If I could leave a negative rating I would! I sat in there for an hour and nobody touched me. The woman thought I wanted a pedi and I told her that's not what I wanted she told me to get up and go to the nail side after I had already been waiting for 30 minutes.... Then she didn't even tell them I had already been waiting and they didn't touch me for another 30 minutes so I left! I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK HERE! WORST SHOP IN LAFAYETTE !!!! read more

Never will I ever get my nails done there again. The owner did them and they look like an amateur did them. I know what a good new set looks like and this is not it. They rushed to get me out because it was after closing and I asked if they wanted me to come back because I didn't want a rush job... we'll ... that's what I got. I called the next morning to let her know that I was not pleased with the shape of my nails and she told me to come in and she'd fix it. Well her idea of fixing it was filing them skinnier but they still looked like trash. I'm giving them 2 stars because my pedicure was nice. read more

Princess Nails - Acrylic nails and dip powder nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

Myself and my friends two teenage daughters went to this nail salon today. 3/19/21. I got a pedicure and the two girls got gel manicures. This was their first time to get manicures and they didn't know what to expect. One of the girls cuticles was cut so low that it bled. And I'm not talking just barely a little pink, they had to keep dabbing the blood off while they finished her manicure. The staff just ignored me when I asked them about it. Like, flat out would not make eye contact or make any verbal response. I asked for the manager and she said it just happens sometimes (shrug). But what do you do when your staff cuts a clients cuticle so badly that it KEEPS bleeding?? Oh it will heal, I was reassured. There was no apology. When it came time to pay the bill I asked again to speak to the manager who lingered as long as she could on her current clients nails. Finally a grudging apology. An offer to take $10 off. But their attitude was just so crappy about the whole thing. I won't go there again. Oh, They also charge more than their posted prices so beware before you buy. read more

This place is hit or miss depending on who your nail tech is. What I like are the prices, what I don't like is that when the place gets busy they bring pedicure girls to do your hands and they aren't quite sure what they are doing. The owner does not listen to you when you tell her that is something is wrong with your nail she does whatever she wants. She can also be very rude I went and she did my nails with the dip powder and I told her that one of my nails was crooked. I told Her it was crooked and she was trying to assure me that it wasn't .. y'all tell me (picture attached). I also have to constantly come back and get a nail fixed.. sometimes twice in one week because they refuse to listen to me the customer and do my nails thick like I ask. And when you come back to get a nail fixed she doesn't even try to match the rest of your hand she just again does what she wants. I had to get my pointer redone and it doesn't even match my other pointer one is shorter than the other and they were held side by side . All in all when I first started coming my experience was great but it slowly started to fade. Today will be my last visit. read more

I took a friend who was visiting from another country. She just wanted to watch, as she was unsure this time. The ladies were rude from the moment we set foot in the building. I needed to soak off my last set of dips. They put such a small amount of acetone in the one side if the tray it was difficult to get all 10 fingers in. That and the tray was so hot it burned me. I had to wait for it to cool some before I could use it. Once that nightmare was over a second gal drilled my nails and skin. Ouch! After dip dip dip, the filing started. Watching tv while filing was unprofessional and painful. Buffing was more of the same. No conversation. Just a lot of pulling, twisting and pain. At the end, my hands were stained with polish. My nails not smooth, and my fingers red and one bleeding. Needless to say my friend was not about to subject herself to this. From reusing files from customer to customer, and paying to be abused, I'm not a about to recommend or return. read more

I thought since this place was so expensive, it would be a job well done. no :(. she cut my skin instead of my cuticles which i kept saying was painful and she didn't believe me until she looked down and saw she was cutting my skin. the nails were absolutely trash. It was so bulky and fat and messy from underneath. I got short blue acrylics and it was 60$! read more

Not impressed. I'm new to Lafayette and came here based on a recommendation but doubt I'll be going back. 1) Sat there waiting at the station for 30 minutes before anyone even started soaking my nails. 2) they absolutely destroyed my cuticles as you can see in the first pic. I know I have pretty thin skin around the nail bed so I'm used to getting nicked here and there but this is just messy. 3) also messy are underneath the nails (pic 2). When I asked her to clean them she tried hand filing underneath but that's not gonna do anything for the polish that got trapped under, and then when I asked the owner she said "oh that's just your skin if you pick that you'll separate your skin from the nail" which I call total BS on because Ive gotten dip countless times before on my natural nail and it's never looked like that. 4) this place is cash only, which would be fine IF they told you that at the beginning not at the end when your only option is to use their atm that's suspicious looking and will charge you a fee. Only pro to this place is it's reasonable in price (30 for dip) which is why I gave 2 stars, but I guess if this is the cost for a cheap service I'd rather pay the extra $10 for a nicer place. read more

Not from the area so I went by reviews Saying how great it is. Went there for nails to be done for my sister's wedding. This was the worst experience I've had in awhile. It doesn't take three people to do one person's nails. The job was sloppy and unprofessional. Two days after the service two nails popped off Along with polish chipped. read more

my nails are awesome good service and very kind definitely will all ways come back and recemend

I have been going to princess nails since they opened. I've seen them at their best, but recently their services are beyond bad. I've done my last service. They question what color you want, and yesterday, the technician burned me with file. I had 3 women work on me. It's never consistent. They always rush and are so mad to do your nails. Think twice before going. read more

Princess Nails - Amazing service, great ombré full-set. Love the place & service. Nail techs are hilarious. Highly recommend. - Nail Salons Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

These people do a great job and super nice.i just hate that they take Cash Only. Their prices are reasonable.

The service is okay , whenever you go don't plan anything else for the rest of the day because they are just that slow... They are pushy and lazy and always want you to get the powder on your nails because they are to lazy to do the gel color , and let's not talk about color it's an act of congress to get your hands and feet the same color. I will never give them another penny!! read more

I am amazed at the quality of work these women do! The owner is so sweet and willing to fix anything you need! Highly recommend! Bring cash or check! read more

Came in Thursday for my daughter and I a mani and pedi with gel polish. Needless to say not even 2 hours later the "gel" polish came off. Went back to get it fixed, had to wait an hour for 1 nail! From Friday to Monday, the gel has chipped on several nails! I'm not sure what type of gel polish this is but this service was a complete waste of money! Even with their pedicures, they reuse the same foot scrub for everyone. read more

I'm not sure why this place hasn't received better reviews. My first visit to this nail salon was a pleasant one. I was treated well, and I got a pedicure that included hot stones and hot towels in addition to the usual pedicure details for $28. I really appreciate that they only charge $15 to have my nails painted with shellac or $20 if I wanted powder. A total of $43 wasn't bad compared to other places I've been, but this is something I do on a monthly basis as a self-care practice so who knows. **They only take cash or check** After they finished my services and asked for payment, they were nice enough to let me run to chase bank to get their money because I don't carry cash or checks on me, only debit/credit. read more

I will never go here again! I do enjoy their pedicures but that's it! I've tried giving this place multiple chances but I just can't anymore no matter how low their prices are. Every time I go in they are so rude and don't spend any time trying to get to know you or chat with you.they are extremely slow to get to you so you just sit there waiting for like an hour before anyone comes to help you. Then when they finally do start the process they get up and change people multiple times or they answer their phone which is extremely rude! I won't be giving them anymore of my money there are plenty of places that will take my money and give me the service I deserve. read more

Went in for a full set and had to wait for almost a half hour which is no problem ( they were busy). But three people walked in after me that was helped first before I was. No one even bothered to look in my direction. I left and went somewhere else. Unprofessional. read more

Don't go here. I went last Saturday morning and was treated very rudely. The first woman who did my nails was very nice, but the second one who took over for her was very rude. I think she may be one of the actual owners. Anyway, she talked on her phone to a child the whole time she did my nails, wasn't paying attention so she used the wrong color at first, and did an incredibly sloppy job leaving polish all over my nail. To top that off, she didn't speak one word to me the entire time except when it was time to pay. That's when she told me to make the check out to cash, took it, then ran over to another customer. No thank you, no anything. No goodbye have a nice day. Granted, it was not busy at all. I won't be giving them my money ever again. read more

The deluxe pedicure leg massage was really good and probably worth the extra $10-12. However, I paid to have shellac put on my toes since I tend to chip regular polish with daily exercise. I usually go to a different nail salon which was closed for New Years onJan 2nd, so I tried Princess Nails. For $15 extra dollars for shellac on my toes, I expected it to last as long as the other nail salon (which is only $10 extra) which I usually go to. It lasted 3 days before it all chipped off. I didn't pick at it or do anything out of my normal routine. I'm used to shellac on my toes lasting up to 3 weeks so I was extremely disappointed. If you're interested in a leg massage this place is pretty good. If you're looking for a nice polish job that will last at least a week, I strongly advise you go somewhere else. They also do not have the latest OPI colors in regular or shellac. I won't be straying from Elite Nails ever again. They set the bar very high and Princess Nails definitely did not meet my expectations. read more
