I went to this nail salon last minute because I had a morning event. The man that did my nails made me feel a bit uncomfortable due to how he was handling my fingers while doing my nails. Also, he just made my nails look like 80s press ons. Not like the press ons that appear real, in present day. My nail was huge and another nail was crooked. So, I drove 40 min back to the salon after a random plus someone I knew, told me that my nails did not look good and needed to be fixed. Here are the fixed pictures. Highly recommend princess nails , specifically Nina ! I had a full set done 2 wks prior (at a different salon) and was 100% unsatisfied with the work! Both of my sister have been going to Nina and saying i should go so i gave it a shot today! She was super quick (removed the old set and did a fresh one in 1hr 30m) and efficient! Careful with the nail prep , filing and shaping , very detailed with her work which I appreciated , normally id have to watch nail techs to make sure they dont do something wrong but i was very comfortable with her ! And she took a professional photo of them afterwards ! Price may not be for everyone but remember good quality work cost ! Definitely going back every 2 weeks! read more

Once I got my new 40 hour/week job, I promised myself to resume this self-treat! I love having long and 'perfect' looking nails! Hands always look so much better overall too. All of the technicians at Princess Nails are friendly and take pride in their art. It's very clean as well. I absolutely LOVE the new gel polish and not having to wait w/ hands under the fans anymore to dry. Their special station has two built in uv dryers and in 2 minutes - DONE and your nails don't chip or peel for WEEKS on end! It's amazing! After less than two months, I no longer even need the acrylic fakes applied to my nails - mine have grown long and now the gel just goes directly on my own nails :) This has to be bad for your nails but like mom always said "you have to suffer to be beautiful!" Their pedicures are amazing. In addition to the trimming and filing, you get a nice calf massage and lotion at closing. You also can fire up the massage chair you're seated on, which of course I do! There are sooo many nail salons around and there are two closer to me than PN, but I chose to return here and will keep coming back here all of the time because of their quality, speed and service. read more

I should of left the second the nail tech added the powder to my fill without replacing or fixing it at all when it was lifting! Second, why are you pulling out the cuticle cutter from your desk instead of a sterilized one then putting the top back on and in your desk. I mean come here if you want to share a cuticle cutter with every customer. Third, why do I have to ask you to fix 6/10 fingers again because they are THAT uneven and noticeable. I've done nails before and wanted to try this place out because it was convenient. Unsterile practice and bad quality. Photo is 6 days later. read more

Wish I could give negative 5 stars. Never going back. Worst experience ever. Have been going here for 7+ years with no complaints. Made appointment for 2 spa pedicures and 2 manicures a couple days in advance. Day of, I had to wait 30 minutes before my spa pedicure began. My friend's started on time. Husband/owner did my "spa" pedicure and did not do it correctly. Never had him do any pedicure/manicure before. My "spa" manicure with polish was over just 10 minutes after my friend's, who did not get polish and I did. Next, I got a dip manicure, by husband/owner. He did not clean my nails beforehand. He put on 5 layers very haphazardly. He cut one of my cuticles with the file drill which later became infected. He did not file my nails smoothly so I had to trim and file. There were bubbles in the dip polish. I called and asked to have it removed due not being done correctly. Husband/owner was the one to remove. He was in a perfectly foul mood seeing me again. He did not soak my nails in acetone remover long enough or with enough remover and used the file drill to remove. As a result, my nail beds are ruined with deep grooves/scratches and terribly thin thus tearing at cuticle. It's going to take months to heal and grow out again. read more

Loved the pedicure, wouldn't go for dip manicure again tho.... they made it too thin and legit the next day it has cracks in it.... like all I did was sleep.... and I didn't even go to work yet.... they did such a pretty job too but I'm only going for pedicures it isn't worth doing dip here... I've been in the Blackwood area for about 2 years now and have been to just about ever nail salon in a 5mile radius - Princess Nails is my favorite. I usually only have to wait 5-10mins (if that much) for my walk-in appointments. I've been serviced by every nail tech there and all are pretty good. I get standard acrylic nails, their color selection isn't that great for regular nail polish, but I usually bring my own. I'm a fan that they genuinely want to get to know their regulars. They may talk in their native language but it's not offensive as they ask do engage in small talk with their customers. I love coming there and will continue to go! The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is they keep the door open and for some reason flies like the smell of a nail salon. There's usually one buzzing around. read more

This was my first time here. I love the way my manicure turned out. And the atmosphere was pleasant. Each women was concentrating on her customer. They weren't speaking to each other. I like that. Tina was great. She really knew what she was doing. She listened to how I wanted my nails shaped and how much white tip I wanted. I especially liked the way she did my cuticles. She actually scraped away the little bit that usually stays on the nail. It looks very neat and clean. She did a great job. I'm new to gel manicures. This was only my second one. My previous one lasted a month without any chips. Hopefully this one will also. If it does, this will be my new go-to nail salon. I'll let you know. read more

I recently moved to this area and needed to find a new nail salon that i could call home. After some trial and error with a few salons, I landed here. Overall, i have few qualms with this salon. When i come in i'm greeted, i never really have to wait to be taken care of, and it's quiet and clean. Ive only had one negative visit after a nail tech appeared rushed and it showed on my nails. There was extra acrylic on my nails that hadn't been taken off and the color was patchy. When i came back a different nail tech seemed appalled and was even more shocked when i told her i got them done in her salon. Since then i've opted to identify who i go to (anyone other than that one nail tech tbh) and it's been smooth sailing ever since! Give them a try. read more

I will not be going back to this place!!! Went in for a gel manicure and first of all the little bowl of water for soaking your fingers was cold. Picked out a color and they couldn't find it. Started working on someone else before I was even done (very rude). Apparently it's about the money and in the end the so called hot towel was cold, he wrapped my hands tap tap tap and told me the price!! The tropical manicure itself looks horrible thick on one end of my nail and thin on the other. He filed one hand and not the other. There is polish along 2 of my fingers which I didn't see until I was in my car looking at the crappy job that he did. Lesson learned!!! Maybe he was having a bad day, but he lost a customer today, actually 3 of us because I was with 2 other people and neither of them liked their nails and the girl tech my daughter had was very rude!! This nail salon is absolutely out to get all of your money! I went into the salon saturday to get a manicure and pedicure and eyebrows for $47, and the very next day my nail polish came off on two nails. I had church on sunday and was unable to make it into the salon but on Monday i went after work asking the guy owner if i could get a gel coating on top to make them last longer free of charge and he said ask his wife, the second owner. I told her same scenerio, and the wife said no money back because its your real nails and regular polish always comes off, she wasnt understanding at all, she just wanted chuckled each time I asked for my money back, which i thought to be extremely rude. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially if you get your nails painted and the polish comes off the very next day! Just forget about any reasoning because they will straight laugh in your face. read more
