It was a good sign to see the place busy on a late weekend afternoon. Mostly contractors and DIYers (some with contractors) checking out their renovation options. We also checked another nearby building supplies shop but that didn't come close to the options at Zion Building Supplies.

Every time I have visited, there is always a version of the product I am looking for, only a couple of times I did not like the version of the product they had and I ended up buying it elsewhere. Also you cannot beat the prices, they are a great deal! I have really liked having this hardware close by, as I like to be handy and hands only with all my household chores. This place has made it possible for me to complete quite a few projects around my home. This is always the first place I visit when I need something for a project I am working on and they usually have what I need! The staff here is mostly just one person, I think I have seen someone in the back working. But the guy is really friendly, knowledgeable and he demonstrates that knowledge when recommending tools and products. what more can you ask of your local family owned hardware store - friendly and knowledgeable! I asked one of the customer service rep about this item and she got the details and come back and said the inventory is wrong and we don't have this item and I confirmed with the manager(Heidi). I spoke to the manager(Heidi) and explained about the wrong information in the system. The reason given to me by her is it is stolen. I explain the busy life style of the customers and ask her to update this in the system as soon as possible to prevent wasting other customers time. She said she will do it. As of Jan 28,2028 their system still shows that this store has 7 pieces in store(which will waste more customers time). I end up with contact their national service centre to resolve this issue. This store online information about the available items and the quantity is not reliable.

It looks like a nursery but when you walk through the rows and racks of flowers and plants it's actually a small shop where the owners had maximized the space around the shop. They have beautiful begonias, hydrangeas, phlox, lilies, and gorgeous orchids. They also have ferns, succulents, ivy, coleus and many more not mentioned here. Cheap starter plants and flowers at $1.99. Lots of variety.
