We had planned to move our…read morecars out of the driveway that morning to allow for an easier delivery of the fridge into the house. We also had a snow covered path (as it is January!) running beside the driveway that for the record we have used to deliver other appliances into the house ourselves. The truck and delivery team arrived 15 minutes earlier than we were told it would and we hadn't yet moved the vehicles. When the individual navigating the delivery for CAS came to the door, he told us that there wasn't an accessible path and that he would need to talk to his driver and then he would come back to talk to us. Instead, the gentleman takes photos of our property and leaves. No further conversation, no suggestions, no discussions or opportunity for us to offer to move the cars. Phone calls to CAS after this event were met with no acknowledgement of how inappropriate and unprofessional this interaction was. Instead, we were required to wait 2 more days and pay an additional fee to have the fridge re-delivered. When the fridge was re-delivered by a different team on the Friday and I alerted the gentleman navigating this delivery to what transpired two days prior he was shocked and told me that never should have happened. He called his manager on his own accord and literally said "there is nothing inaccessible about this property." Despite a follow-up phone call to CAS to re-iterate what had happened and what their own delivery team had said, they denied our request to refund the re-delivery fee. In the interest of being a fair review. Working with our sales associated (prior to this) was a positive experience, but ultimately really displeased with how CAS handled this situation. We won't be ordering from them in the future and wouldn't recommend others do either unless you are wanting to pay extra and wait longer for your appliances.

I have previously used CAS to purchase appliances and have recommended them to friends and…read moreneighbours. That has changed. I needed a new dishwasher and called CAS to go over options and got Harmeet Singh who answered my questions and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. I moved forward with a purchase, including delivery, setup, and extended warranty. I chose a delivery date based on my availability with work and to coincide with some electrical work I needed to have done between the time the dishwasher arrived and the install team arrived. The work was recommended (helpful!) and I even purchased an additional component needed to complete it. The window I got was a fairly large 7am-12pm window. Great. The night before, I get a note the delivery was scheduled outside the window, with no one home, and outside of the availability of the electrician booked. I replied immediately and was given a "too bad, the time you get is what you get, take it or leave it response". I decided to leave it. The following day, nothing from Harmeet. Zero acknowledgement or responsibility assumed. If this is the first interaction post-sale you have with a company, why would you assume anything else will go smoothly? What's even more telling is CAS sends you a "hey please review us" once they have your money but before delivery/install occurs. If you made a reservation for 7pm at a restaurant and you turned up and they told you the reservation is now 8:30pm, just because, you'd probably find somewhere else to have dinner. I'd find somewhere else to have dinner.
