I came in with my Raleigh bike, which was purchased at Canadian Tire in another city, where I am…read moreaccustomed to receiving optimal customer service from every staff member, to the Bradford Location, as I had moved to a new city, I decided to take my Raleigh bike in to see if I could get the front lower part which connects to my handle bars raised, which I had done before in the city I moved from easily, no questions asked no problem. When I walked with my bike to the front counter, to inquire for that bike service, they all looked at me like I'm from another planet and continued to tell me there's no such thing that gets done to the bike like the service I was asking. Ok, no sweat, different city, different services? Besides that topic, they began grilling me, what was your day of purchase, what store, what time, what month, do I have my receipt, no honestly, I did not have the receipt, but the stares, the attitudes the lack of connecting with a customer, made me feel like they were getting at as if I'd stole my $600.00+ bike, that was my first impression and boy did that leave a negative lasting impression of their lack of everything positive, and for me absolutely was it a bad first impression. And just so everyone knows there is such a service which I'd had done before. There's no excuse as to why I should be treated and grilled anywhere and make insinuations as to I stole my bike, no one deserves that kind of treatment at all. I refuse to go back for anything. Told me the item was damaged and I had to wait for a new one from the warehouse even though the website said there were none there. A few days later the item was re-listed for sale on their website but when I called they told me it was "for someone else" and that it wasn't their responsibility to refund my money either. Don't know what I did to deserve being treated this way by these women.

There is a local shoe store in downtown Woodstock that sells very expensive, brand-name shoes, but it has a terrible return policy. And the owner is rude. He should learn a lesson from the competition.

They sell everything from clothing to food; filling the niche left by the departure of Target and others, stamping it with Canadian branding. They don't always have everything, such as they do occasionally sell yarn, but they don't always have it, and when they do it's not always the same types. I will continue to drop in here, when I can.

I first discovered Uncle Terry's from the Ex. From their name and branding it gives an impression…read morethat they've been around for a while (give me a bit of Honest Ed's feel, I don't know why) but it's actually been about 2 years and this location near Kensington Market being their newest. When you come in, it does give a slight attic smell, which I don't mind. They told me they usually restock on Thursdays and the other location by Sterling Road usually carries even more inventory. I purchased a shiatsu massager and back up Aukey earphones that were new in package from the Ex. However, the earphones didn't work. The great thing is they are one of the few or probably only liquidators that I know that allows for a 7 day return if there's an issue. Normally most discount liquidators I've been to, it's pretty much the final sale. I wasn't able to visit within 7 days, but did send them an email with the issue with the earphones so they extended the warranty for me to come in within the end of the month to get store credit or exchange, which I'm so grateful for. Apparently they sold hundreds of those earphones and only a few came back with issues. I was able to drop by yesterday after work and decided to exchange for another shiatsu massager for my in-laws. What I appreciate about this spot is that it's relatively organized in shelves with multiple copies of an item. There are bargain bins too for $5 if you really want to search for any deals and treasures. I much prefer than other liquidators where usually things are thrown in bins and you don't know exactly what it is until you open it. The staff there was also super patient and friendly. Definitely if you're in the area peek in and see if you score any deals. They will be moving back inventory from the Ex today and the pricing seems to be the same. Though they might offer tax off discounts with cash at the Ex but not at the store.

Very loudly harassed at me after I tried on my blouse over my dress, looked at myself in the mirror and saw the sleeves were too narrow. I gently placed the blouse back on the hanger and set it down. THE WILD STAFF LADY TOOK AN ANGER ATTACK AT ME AND SAID, "YOU SHOULD PUT THINGS BACK WHERE YOU FIND THEM." I was no time in asking for a store manager. However I never got the respect of getting a store manager. This has also been reported to the Cloverdale Guest Services. I am also a 65 yr old senior lady who got yelled at.

Melissa and Doug brand is the best of the best, as is Green Toys. They can be really expensive at other locations, but they're fantastic here. They even have Playmobil in stock more often than not. I always check here, before anywhere else, for great Children's Toys.
