This is place is beautiful, chill and clean. A few friends and I came here for hookah and a relaxing time and we got it. The bar is BYOB but provides non-alcoholic drinks such as tea, water and hot chocolate and the hookah is either regular or CBD depending on what you would like. There are a few big screen TVs hung up and it gives a very nice lounge feel. It's nice and clean, we weren't bothered, and I may have accidentally tapped the sink while washing my hands in the restroom and it let out a beautiful chiming noise. This place isn't super busy and setting up a hookah doesn't take that long (speaking from experience) so I don't understand what's taking so long. It also doesn't help that the lady working here is pretty rude. No customer service skills at all. I advise you to try "my hookah cafe" much better service and way more organized in terms of menu. I don't usually Yelp many places, but I felt compelled to do so. This has to be one of the worst hookah lounges that I've ever been too and I've been to plenty hookah lounges. For starters the ONE ventilation system used to pull the lingering smoke up is very weak. I can't taste my own hookah, but what I do taste is cigarette smoke from the other customers inside the lounge. I'm pretty sure it's against Illinois law to smoke in any place of business, unless this place has special privileges, which I DOUBT!!!! Later my wife and I received our cups of their "world famous tea" and let me just say it looked like a cup of colored water with no flavor at all. I guess they ran short on tea leaves or something. We were ready to leave but couldn't find a server to get us our bill. btw there were only 2 people working the in whole entire place. I walked up to the register to pay so we could leave this dreadful environment, I greeted the "waitress/server/register person/ mngr" or whatever her title maybe, Didn't even get a hello or Thank you but she was real quick to Take my $30 dollars. This place wasn't worth $30 at all in my opinion. I am writing this as a warning, heed the bad reviews! I was hesitant to come here after reading some of the reviews but our friends insisted. So we go and right off the bat we are greeted by a very rude woman who treated us like we were such an inconvenience to her throughout our stay. A LOT of reviewers have also mentioned her because she has terrible customer service. I asked for the tap water and somehow they "don't have tap water" but they do have bottled water which you will have to pay for! I asked how they could not have tap water, she just looked at me, didn't answer, and just walked away...yep. A friend of ours had a broken hand and was unable to try all of the hookahs easily because of the way they were set up around us. There were 6 of us so we had 3 hookahs. We asked if we could move the hookahs to the table, she said no, that's fine. But can we move the table to set the hookahs in the middle? "No". Eventually, we had to place two tables between the hookahs. That was fine with her. The only good thing is that they did come to change our coal regularly. However, even though the flavour of the sheesha was good, it was seriously lacking in tobacco because I didn't even get lightheaded like I normally would have when I smoked sheesha (it's been 4+ years) nor do I smoke tobacco so I don't have any tolerance build up. Basically, it was not strong and not worth the $22 price tag that comes with terrible customer service. Update in response to Helen: During our visit, one of the male servers was actually friendly. However, Helen was not, we were greeted by her and there was no smile and not even a "hello" on her end. She made us feel really uncomfortable as soon as we walked in. And no, my friends did not have a "positive experience" either, they all commented on how uncomfortable they felt because of Helen and would not be back. A unanimous decision! The issue wasn't that we couldn't put our hookah's on the table, I did mention in the review that her saying no to that was fine since she explained the reasons behind that. However, the issue was that instead of providing any suggestions to accommodate my friend, we had to come up with different ideas until she was satisfied with one. If this place didn't have such bad customer service that is mostly connected to Helen, there wouldn't be such bad reviews on both Yelp and Google mentioning her by name/characteristics. I would recommend that Helen either hire someone else to take over the customer service position or try and improve her skills by reading books like How To Win Friends and Influence People and Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion. read more

It's such a nuisance to leave a bad review, however; when I'm compelled that a place is worthy of a bad review, I don't mean this in a negative connotation, but rather constructive criticism to improve your business and attract new customers. Personally, I think this place has decent hookah, however I feel new friendly staff should be hired in place of the current staff there. But, I've been putting up with it...until now... Most recently on a Saturday, I planned on bringing in a large group of people with our own alcohol and we were ready to spend a lot on hookahs and energy drinks. So, I called ahead just to get a feel for the situation. I verified that it was BYOB and then I asked: "I might be coming in with a large group. Is it really busy or packed in there tonight?" (I wanted to make sure there would be enough room and time to be served.) She responds: "WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT?"...Probably never coming back. If it weren't for the pathetic "hospitality", I would have made Prince my new go-to hookah lounge. **Advice to ownership (even if the hostess is one of them): Get that lady as far away from customers as possible. My friends and I came here this weekend to enjoy the Mayweather and McGregor fight. We called and made a reservation. When we came here the women told us there will be a cover which we had NO issue with. We had 6 people here and order three hookahs. When the bill came we were shocked to find we were being ripped off. They upped the cost of the hookah which was not told to us or anywhere on the menu when we came in that it will cost more aside from the cover charge. When we asked why this was the cost they couldn't explain why except that it was the weekend and because of the fight. We insisted we were not told the cost of the hookah was going to be double therefore we didn't want to pay for something that wasn't told to us. Mind you, the price of hookah is no where on the menu, do they think they can just make up the price as they go?!? The women raised her voice at us multiple times and was insulting my husband for asking why the cost was made up. We asked another table how much the hookah is normally and they told us it was $15. Today they decided to charge us $30 per hookah ( without any prior notice) and a $10 cover per person. Although the they do have comfortable seating and they did play the fight. If you decide to come here make sure you ask about the price first so you cannot be scammed at the end. Walked in here thinking I can smoke some hookah to unwind. Turns out they only allow 2 people per hookah and charge 22$ For one person they charge 14$ If you have more then two people they charge extra per person. So for 6 people either you get 3 hookahs for 66$ or 2 hookahs for 28$. I've never heard of this type of pricing system in my life. The lady who served us gave us attitude as soon as we walked in and tried to charge 3$ extra for every drink brought in from outside. I'm astonished that so many people gave this terrible customer service anything better then 2 Stars. It seems as if those people were paid to type these reviews or are friends of the ownership. I would also like to mention I ordered one hookah to start and waited for the others to arrive allowing them to order for themselves. The server assumed that's all we would be ordering and tried to increase the pricing based on per person. They need disclose the set rates on the menu allowing the customer to judge the appropriate amount of hookahs they would need. This is not how you run a business. Especially by assuming that we would only order one hookah. It's not my first time at a hookah lounge, we know that 2-3 people are maxed out per hookah. Highly recommend finding a different place. Would never come here again. Worst Hookah lounge I ever been to. The owner of that place is disrespectful. Walked in there with a bunch of friends and they all wanted to smoke besides me, wasn't feeling it. So everyone ordered there flavors that they wanted and once she got to me I told her "I'm not smoking" she said with attitude " oh, well you're going to have to pay $12 if You're not gonna smoke" so for a non-smoker you seriously have to pay $12? That's just ridiculous. But I did find out they charge only $5 for sitting from one of the dudes that goes there regularly.. So she was just basically trying to rip me off a lot haha. But once she said the price to just sit down and chill at the place I decided to go home. As I was getting out she said "what a waste of my time" and I just Laughed and left. Me and my friend came on Saturday evening excited about a good time. We ordered one premium hookah, everything was good for about the first 20 minutes to a half-hour. After the first set of coals started to die, I asked the lady if we can get more coals, she went back and then 15 minutes passed so then I asked the other guy about coals he said yes, then after another 10 minutes I asked again they said they will bring it, and then the fourth time I went and asked again they said that they forgot. The coals came after another 5-10 minutes and when those were put on it was all bunt. I was beyond dissatisfied with the service we got. We wanted water and tea and no one bothered to even come by to check up on us to see if we were okay the whole time. I felt like we were ignored and treated differently than other customers. My other friend ordered a premium hookah with an orange head and he was also ignored and no one went by to check on them, the hookah was not hitting at all and the guy fixed it for a minute and walked away. There is no service at all I feel like it was self-service. On top of all that, it was beyond cold in there, I felt like it was an icebox and I needed to wear my jacket and gloves the whole time. I have been to almost every hookah lounge in the state of IL and I will say this was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Service was top-tier bad!! I paid for premium hookah which was a waste of money because I did not even get good service and I was so upset. I paid to just sit there and not smoke any hookah. It seems like there's a hookah lounge anywhere you look. Distinguishing characteristics of hookah lounges include the hookah itself and a variety of flavored tobacco, usually ordered from a menu. The best hookah I've came across is at Prince Hookah. Prince Hookah Lounge is a great place to bring your friends and chill. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The staff is known for making everyone feel right at home (specially the manager Helen she's amazing) and will answer any question that may arise. There are a ton of flavors to choose from, and even some additional items that add to the experience. My girlfriend & I visited Prince the first time a few months ago & now it's like a regular nightly chill spot to Unwind. read more

I love this place, its very laid back and no drama. Interior is pretty much standard but not dingy which is always nice but the bathrooms are gorgeous. Some of the chairs by the drinks are the utmost comfortable. Helen and John do their best to keep everyone accommodated and are attentive to your hookah and well being even if you are not. I just went to this establishment with my friends this past Saturday night. There is a reason there were only four other customers: the customer service is abhorrent. I am not sure what role the woman with the red hair plays (manager, hostess, waitress) but she is the reason my five friends and I went elsewhere. She was rude from the moment we walked in as if we were an inconvenience to her. Seeing as it was our first time there, we had questions about the prices. Again, she seemed agitated with all of her interactions with us. This woman's demeanor toward us made us feel as if she was dealing with a bunch of ignorant teenagers causing trouble rather than a couple of educated professionals looking to have a fun night out. A word to the owners of this establishment: if you would like to have a sustainable business, you should re-evaluate your employees' continued employment or perhaps some professional development regarding business etiquette.
