A very small and new park with very decent parking lots. I only wish that the park can be little bigger. Lots of small kids (toddlers) playing at the playground. Some kids are pretty aggressive, if you bring your fur babies here. Please make sure they are ok with little kids. Be safe . read more

Nice park, on weekends and after school it gets pretty crowded. There tables and grass area, then there's the larger playground. Plenty of seating and there's a water fountain and a unisex restroom, but only one. There's ample parking since it's in a plaza and there's street parking too. What I like to e most about this place is that it's gated and near stores and a 99cents store to go if you need anything. read more

Great new little local park. I do like that there's a clean restroom that I feel comfortable to take the kids into. There's plenty of parking spots or even street parking. There's a small table area for people to sit/have lunch/have parties. It's gated which makes me feel extra safe because my kids won't be running outside. My daughter is not a fan of parks that has wood chips because she says they hurt and this park doesn't have it thankfully. There's a small section for the little ones (under 3) and bigger kids 5-8 years old. There's also a few exercise machines for adults. The only thing I wished they had was swings for older kiddos. Overall, I would come back, bring the kiddos to, and recommend it to others. Such a great addition to this community. read more

I have 3 kids and they all love this park! It's clean, interactive and walking distance from our home.

We found this park completely by accident because we happened to stop by Bay Garden and saw a few kids giggling and laughing from far. My kids wanted to see what was going on so we walked across the parking lot from Bay Gardens and found this amazing park that is completely new and clean-- came with a huge decorative flower over the slide giving shade to the kids and a small playhouse right next to it. My kids ran to the place when they saw it. I like that theres not that many people compared to the other parks I've been since it's relatively new. I also like that the kids here on average are about 5 and younger. Even though there are machines on the side for adults, the park mainly caters to toddlers. So if you're looking for a smaller park with kids younger than 5, then I highly recommend this place. Free ample parking. read more

A friend told me about this new park in Temple City. They have a good sized parking lot and street parking. No issues finding parking. It's fairly small but quite unique. For the kids there is a small house with slide attached. Very well decorated with various foods for them to look at. The center of the park is a tall slide the kids can climb via ladder and on the sides are smaller climbing areas. There is also a swing but only hokds 2 kids. The parents were quite kind the day I went and saw my toddler eyeing the swing and tokd their child to take turns so they got off to let my little one have a turn. It is shaded but depending on the time of day the sun may still hit parts of the park. The floor is made of the soft bouncy material so it was built with falling kids in mind. My child enjoyed it and heard another parent say it's their child's favorite park. read more

We love this park, small but safe and my son loves it. Loves to play in the playground, ride his bike in the enclosed area, play soccer with new friends, and sit and listen to the water fountain in the back corner. Keeps him busy and at the end of day he's nice and tired. Plenty of parking, restroom is always clean, and there's lots of shade. read more

A new park opened up on April 23, 2022. It is a beautiful addition to the city. A nice playground for kids to play in. There are 3 tables on the corner to just chill, sit, eat and hang out for the parents. And it is great that this park is not out in the open and gated at nights. read more

Nice park away from busy streets and it's fully enclosed so I don't have to worry about my kids getting hit by a car. The ground is padded so it's cushioned enough for my toddlers' knees if they fall when running around. I'm not fond of sand because it's messy and I don't like wood chips because they can hurt. So it's great that this park has neither one of those. There's a big jungle gym and a little farmhouse house for the smaller kids to play in. I like that there's shade above the jungle gyms. More parks should have that. A lot of seating area for parents to sit and watch their kids. This park is pretty much catered to smaller kids about 5 years old and younger. There's only 2 baby swings in the park. read more

An amazing little park right behind the heart of temple citys main street. For the park itself , I would give it 5 stars, great for kids , clean, has clean bathrooms , and ample shade and seating. However, the kids there are TERRIBLE. You have these parents that just drop the kids off and let them do their thing while they are completely consumed by their phone. The kids will climb on the outside of slides up really high, if they slip they can easily break a limb or worse. When we went , the kids are we're dropping F bombs and S bombs , yelling basically to as loud as possible but the parents didn't even do so much as look up. The kids are also climbing up the slides causing a traffic jam in the side , making it unsafe for the smaller kids because they are sandwiched between the big kids. Great park but it also attracts the worst parents and their un-parented little spawn. read more

Since passing by and watching the construction for what felt like a very long time, I'd been so excited for the opening of this park. For the amount of space that this park is built on, I think Primrose Park is quite well designed. It's a rather small park, so it doesn't necessarily have all the park "essentials" that would be suitable for an entire age range of kids. But first, I'll focus on what it does have: - An incredibly modern design for a playground. How many parks get renovated or newly built?! - Cushiony rubber surface that is safe for kids and also pleasant for parents (so clean and stroller/wheelchair friendly!) and slip-resistant. - Creatively designed shade (the shape of a flower!) to cover the play structure. - Creatively designed everything, really. From the play structure itself that looks/acts like a treehouse to the little structure that allows kids to sit down and play "restaurant" and "farmers market," the design is commendable. - A small workout station. - A semi-shaded picnic area with tables and benches. - A small grass area. - Gated to be closed off during "closed" hours, which I'm sure means that all the maintenance is much better maintained! - Ample parking space and restaurants within walking distance to support and grab food for a picnic. Tips: - There are two bucket swings for younger kids, but there aren't any "big kid" swings. - Because the park is so small and there's only one big play structure for kids both big and small, it does get extremely crowded during the after-school hours. - Because the taller second-story slide on the play structure is a closed one, it can get a little... chaotic. And like one of the other early reviewers has said, it does become difficult to manage. I experienced a similar busy afternoon where many kids were playing independently at the play structure, and several of them (because monkey see, monkey do) kept crawling back up into the slide once they slid down. That was seriously a hot mess, and I became THAT mom at the end of the slide asking every kid to please stop doing that so that they wouldn't cause a slide wreck/crash and potentially get hurt. - To get to the second level of the play structure, there's a ladder to climb up. And the opening is quite narrow. That's the only way up (and besides the slide, the only other way down). For young toddlers who want to brave the ladder, it could become a stress point for parents because there's no cushion beneath the ladder if they fall. I spot my child when he climbs and give him a boost if he needs it. - There are EV charging spots that are often open and available in the mornings, as far as I can tell. Overall, though, I am quite impressed with this new local park! Well done with the space allotted. read more

Love how clean this park is and for once their is shade!! There's no park with shade like this and the decor they put into this park is amazing!! I hope this park stay clean as is. The restroom is even clean and doesn't smell like pee how usually it does. I believe the park is cater to toddler which is perfect for my toddler and twins. They even have a section for the grown adults to do little work out. Love how at this park they teach what healthy food looks like as well. read more

I took my 11 year old niece to this park. She loved it! Even though its small, there is something for everyone. I love how there is seating right next to the play area. Its a nice park to just sit down and have a cup of coffee. There were a lot of children when we came, but it never felt crowded. Everyone at the park was just chill. I would definitely come to this park again. read more

Nice park but the "free" EV charging stations are attracting folks waiting in the parking lot to get free electricity and not even using the park. Some Teslas just parks whole day charging which a bit ironic because if you can afford a Tesla, not sure why you need to chizzle "free" electricity. read more
