I wanted a simple voluminous blowout with curled ends and got exactly what I wanted

This was my first experience at a blow dry bar and it totally beat my expectations!! First off, the staff is super friendly and welcoming! They were able to get me in last minute on a busy Saturday for a wash and blowout. I really enjoyed my shampoo and my blowout looked great! My stylist was Maggie and she made sure to style my hair exactly how I wanted which was super nice. She did an amazing job! I'll definitely be back soon, thank you ladies!

Every year I see Tierra to do my hair and make for my husbands Christmas Party. She always dies an amazing job. This year another guest at the party said how do you look younger every year? I said it's my stylist at primp and blow she is amazing!

A new location and very pretty decor similar to other primp and blows. My first visit my hair came out a-ok but to be honest it's not the best blowout I've had and I have tried several dry bars in the East valley. I returned in hopes it would be better bc I had another groupon and this time I had Cameron and she was much better for sure. I'd say they are a four stars for now because her technique was better. The only thing I found odd is she asked what type of round brush i'd prefer. I let her choose since she's the professional I believe she knows best. Overall, the second visit was better. They are located in between Thai Chili and cinnaholic.

Went here today to get my hair done for my anniversary, I was seen quickly and had a great wash and massage (extra 10 min massage I added to my package). It felt amazing!! My stylist was so nice and gave me healthy shiny hair with curls in it without any hot tools. I even bought an Oribe product for blowouts so I can try to keep my hair the same way at home (though it always looks better after a salon like this!). Overall a great experience and busy but fun atmosphere with music playing and talking, blow dryers going, etc. The shampoo part was in a more quiet and secluded area so that was relaxing.

Absolutely one of the best blowouts I've ever had while traveling. They use excellent products, Oribe, which is a huge plus. My stylist, I wish I had gotten her name, was very sweet and personable. I loved my hair and it has remained fabulous for the two days since. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

I had been going to the Camelback location in Phoenix regularly but we moved to Gilbert and I must say that I LOVE the Gilbert location. It's like night and day. I had Morgan for a style and eye makeup and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was extremely attentive, patient and so personable. I felt like I had known her forever. Not to mention, she put up with my pregnancy hormones and indecisiveness like a champ (cheers to you Morgan ). Do not hesitate to make an appointment here! I'm not usually one to leave reviews on Yelp, but I couldn't NOT leave one here for this location! I have had a primp and blow membership for a while now. I was regularly visiting a nearby location to see a specific artist that was great, but she ended up moving states- after trying out several different artists at this other location, I was just not 100% satisfied with the quality of work. I finally decided it was time to try the Gilbert location and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! Tierra was so welcoming and understanding of my situation. She listened to my concerns and took them all into consideration for my appointment. I haven't even left the parking lot of my appointment yet and WOW, what a difference! Tierra listened to and executed EXACTLY what I wanted for my hair! My blowout has honestly never looked better. My hair feels amazing! I wasn't sure about going to have my hair washed and styled but gave it a try and I was pleasantly surprised! It was nice to not spend an hour washing, drying and styling my hair! I've been to this location several times and have had a pretty good experience but today was terrible. The young girl helping me was sweet and kind and mentioned that my thick hair needed some straightening with a flat iron after my blowout. No mention of an upcharge was made. When I went to check out, the girl running the register was rude and said that "Next time I needed to make a longer appointment and then charged me an additional ten dollars for the flat iron which was only used because the stylist suggested (again no mention of additional charge). I think I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

Super disappointed, we won't be back. I brought my daughter in for a partial updo for a school dance. When I booked I indicated what she wanted, a waterfall braid. When we arrived there were only 3 stylists. The one we were assigned to said she did not know how to do a waterfall braid. How can you not know how to do one of the most popular styles and work at a salon that only does style? Unfortunately the other two were booked so my daughter settled for something she didn't love. Way too expensive to not like it. It was also super messy and uneven. I ended up partially taking it apart and fixing it myself. read more

The ladies there were all super sweet and friendly and accommodating. We were done on time and our hair and M/U lasted all day long. So I have been going here for almost a year now and I get my hair done almost weekly, I love this place and the stylists! Maggie still does my hair and Emile too! Ashley does makeup services which is great for special occasions. They have a membership that is a total steal too. For $80/month you get one free blowout or makeup session and each additional is only $40 plus free lashes, hot tool styling and a free deep conditioning treatment. They never disappoint! read more

This was my first time at Primp and Blow and it was such a great experience! I purchased the classic blowout and added the 10 min scalp massage and hair mask. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep. Much needed break for this busy mama! read more

Every blonde hair she touched became brittle and snapped off 5" from my scalp, I've clogged my hairbrush and the shower drain for the last 2 months, at least 1/3 of the volume is gone and what's left looks like macrame jute. When confronted, Dana said I need vitamins and maybe try Monoxidil. Zero accountability. It continues to break off to this day, so the horror isn't even over yet. Negative 5 stars
