AVOID PRIMO BRANDS AT ALL COSTS: A Nightmare of Service Failures and Financial Deception
To anyone considering Primo Brands (or ReadyRefresh/Crystal Springs/etc.) for water delivery: RUN. Do not walk, RUN in the opposite direction. My experience with this company has descended from simple incompetence into what feels like a deliberate, fraudulent scheme to retain customer deposits.
For months, my family has been caught in a cycle of service failures that would be comical if they weren't so infuriating. We signed up for a simple biweekly water delivery. The last time we actually received a delivery was in early May. Since then, our account has been a ghost town, with no water, no communication, and no service.
Naturally, I decided to cancel. This is where the real nightmare began. Cancelling service with Primo has been an exercise in futility. They are contractually obligated to pick up their empty bottles and refund the deposit. I have 20 empty bottles, for which I paid a $6 deposit per bottle, totaling $120.
Despite numerous calls and attempts to schedule a pickup, Primo has repeatedly failed to show up. They give you a date, you leave the bottles out, and... nothing. They reschedule, and the cycle of no-shows continues. It's a blatant tactic to wear customers down.
The most insulting part of this ordeal is their attempt to shortchange me on my deposit. After finally getting a representative to discuss the refund, they had the audacity to offer me a mere $20. This isn't just poor customer service; it's an attempt to steal $100 of my money. They are holding my deposit hostage, refusing to collect their property, and then trying to pocket the difference.
This experience leads me to believe this isn't an isolated incident. This feels like a systemic issue, a business model predicated on making cancellation so difficult and frustrating that customers either give up or accept a lowball refund offer.
CALL TO ACTION FOR AFFECTED CUSTOMERS & LEGAL PROFESSIONALS:
I am certain I am not alone. If you have been a victim of Primo Brands' abysmal service, missed deliveries, and deceptive deposit practices, please share your story.
Furthermore, I am publicly calling for legal counsel specializing in consumer rights and class-action lawsuits to look into this. The number of complaints across various consumer watchdog sites suggests a pattern of behavior that warrants legal scrutiny. A company cannot be allowed to systematically fail its customers and withhold their rightful deposits. We need representation to hold Primo Brands accountable for their predatory practices.
Rating: 0/5 Stars. If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is a black hole of customer service and ethical business practices. read more
