First off, I heard about a joint serving up upscale dishes in the small town of Walnut. I grew up…read morenear this area and it has always only ever been a drive through town, with not much reason to stop. This restaurant "The Shed" will give many a strong reason to stop and eat like a king. The establishment seems newly built or renovated. This place is NOT a hole in the wall but something the owners should take great pride in creating. The location is easy to find. And once you are inside, it only gets better. The bar itself is huge and showcases a vast array of many drinks to choose from. The food options within the menu seem to reflect a wide variety of food options for all. The downfall of this restaurant is maybe they have TOO many good options to choose from. What a great problem to have. I opted for the Mac N Cheese infused with Pot Roast. This dish when it arrived, was piping hot. I was taken back by the crackers that came crumbled on top of it. It's the small things that can make or break a dish. I don't recall being asked if I wanted that on my dish, but glad I wasn't because it only added to the perfect way it was crafted. (So if crackers aint your thing, like tell your server). The whole dish was a win. So much flavor packed into such a simple dish, that by the time I was done - I realized this dish was anything BUT simple. It was enough for two people to split. The garlic bread that came with, was mind numbingly great. The side of chili I got, was full of flavor but for me, was a bit watery/tomatoey for my tastes ... but I wouldn't say it was bad. The only real downside to this restaurant is volume/noise that never really gets absorbed by anything. It was hard for my brother, my mom and I to have a conversation or to hear each other. I don't know how management can change this. And I hate dinging a restaurant for this... but it is, what it is. I applaud the owners here for the uniqueness of their menu and for giving those in this area such an upscale variety of food options to choose from. I can see this restaurant really being a greater success as more and more people find out about it. This restaurant was clean, well organized, had great flow to it and the server we had... I believe she said her name was Cody - did an amazing job. 9.2 out of 10.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Buyer Beware...they don't care.

This place is great to grab a bite to eat for lunch or dinner when cruising through the country side- especially since lots of bars in the area don't serve lunch. Our hardest decision whenever we frequent this place is which deep-fat-fried veggie to devour. I personally love the fried cauliflower. Burgers are HUGE. Beers are cheap- like $1.50 per can. The salad had the bed of chips, about 1 cup of lettuce, a 1/4 cup of barely seasoned taco meat, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and onions. I normally post a picture of the food I order, but I said that I wanted "no onion or tomato, only meat and cheese." Since it was a salad I assumed I wouldn't have to say that I also wanted lettuce, but they didn't put any lettuce on my salad. I got tortilla chips with hamburger meat and cheese. They did give me lettuce after I requested it. I got my description of how the salads normally look because people next to me ordered them. My husband got a cheese burger. He said he thought there was too much bun. I suppose he could have taken 1/2 of it off. I will say that their double cheese burgers were pretty big (about the size of a double 1/4 at McDonald's). I'm sure the bun on those would be perfect.

( said they were behind) but they actually forgot to make the food. Then I was told that the online ordering was down. If that was the case, how did they know what I ordered and then what to make when I came in to pick up my order? They said. Oh just a few mins and then 30 mins later the food came out. Hmm. No Im sorry or taking accountability for their error. Today I called in my order for pizza and a few other items. This was for my mom's birthday dinner. When I came in to pick up the order they handed over the pizza and was quick to take payment, while I waited for them to run my card I looked at the pizza and thank goodness I did. The pizza was completely burnt. When I asked the bartender about it she blamed the oven then she blamed the cheese. She said the owner Brandy knows about the problem but hasn't given it any attention or tried to fix the problem. The bartender also didnt even try to fix the problem or offer anything in its place. When I arrived home the other food was also not cooked all the way. The cheese curds were cold in the center. The hamburger bun was soggy and the fries were soggy and cold. Mind you my mom only lives about 10 mins away, so the food shouldn't have been cold when we got home. The ranch sauce was also very watery. I don't understand how so many things could go wrong with the same order. This was a complete waste of money. I have given this place multiple chances and they have been horrible. I really wish it was a better experience and better food.
