Superb! Primo definitely has a little something for everybody, from seafood to pizza, subs to salads...they have it all! We were ordering in on a Friday night and the guy at the register helped us out tremendously. He made nice recommendations and even gave us a little bit of a discount since we were ordering so much food and couldn't find an applicable coupon. Together, our order included a steak & cheese sub, chicken Alfredo, spaghetti, Stromboli, side salads, onion rings and zucchini fries. If I could leave no stars I would. Ordering delivery on a Friday is obviously going to be a bit slower than on a regular weeknight. I placed an order for wings, calzone and lasagna at 7:15, we didn't get the food until 8:45! I called to find out if it left and was told we should have it in 5 minutes they got slammed. Well then you need to up your delivery staff or stop giving delivery times of 40-45 minutes. We literally live 3 miles from them! It was a bit late for me to just pick it up, but I seriously should have! The food was cold the garlic bread wasn't even in foil or a bag it was just thrown into the main bag. This is the last time we order from here! NEVER AGAIN! ***FYI- no matter what I always tip- not this time! I seriously want to drive back there and return the food and get a refund; but my husband had to eat something and literally dug in as soon as I put it on the counter! (I can't eat too much and literally ate a granola bar for dinner because I needed something to eat- so for me the food won't even be touched now. Thanks for the cold greasy nasty food! I love PRIMO PIZZA. In my opinion, it is in the top 2 pizza options in Fredericksburg. I have been a customer at this location for 20 years. No complaints about the food. Always delicious. I do feel that the owner here could make more of an effort to be kind to his customers. I get a roll of the eyes and a big sigh when he learns that i want to pay with my credit card. "Ugh......plastic" he says. This has happened on many occasions. God forbid you ask for a real sales receipt displaying what I'm paying in sales tax- prepare to get an editorial/ political viewpoint blurted at you. The guys a jerk. This is what makes it so painful. I'm addicted to his pizza like Whitney Houston was on the crack but I cringe at the thought of carryout. Phoning in is slightly less painful if it wasn't for his painfully slow merchant services machine from 1997. No wonder he hates the plastic. Ever see that SOUP NAZI episode of Seinfeld? IT'S JUST LIKE THAT!! But I keep going back because the pizza is that good. But why does he make it so painful? I finally decided to write this YELP review in the hope that maybe I'm not the only one experiencing the suck and don't really know if PRIMO PIZZA is silently losing it's customers over dude-man. I find the food here to be consistently delicious. They have a very friendly staff and extremely fair prices. I would choose Primo's over the other pizza places in the neighborhood anytime. All of the salads have been very fresh and their cheesesteak is to die for. For lunch, they have spectacular deals that are hard to find anywhere else. I do wish that they delivered just a little further. We live about a quarter of a mile from the cut off and they won't come. That could bring them big $$$$ considering delivery isn't available for most areas south of them. Overall, they a dependable and make a yummy pizza. read more

Being that my fiancé and I are born and bred from NJ we have very high standards for pizza. While Primo isn't NJ pizza, it's probably as close as it can get around (with the exception of a restaurant downtown). My brother surprised us with a delivery one night of a spread of food from Primo's and all of it was very good! 10000% better than any chain pizza restaurant. I've heard there are some menu items (like nachos) that aren't worth the money, but order the plain cheese it's worth the $. read more

I ordered two pizzas and the steak fries and I was disappointed. I paid extra for them to add pepperoni on a four cheese pizza and they didn't. I also asked for no green peppers on my cheese stake fries and it came with green peppers on it. We come here all the time. Tony, the owner, is a NYC transplant and the fare definitely reflects that. His Pizza pies are fantastic and are up to par with any you would find in Brooklyn. He offers a daily buy one get one free special if you purchase a pizza of any size, and he has a full Italian menu entree selection. His ravioli parmigiana is to die for. It is excellent. They also have a full italian dessert menu which includes Tiramisu, Cannoli's, etc. They deliver up to a ten mile radius and you can call ahead and pick up as well. If you are in the mood for authentic NYC style pizza, this is where you need to be. read more

Drove here from Stafford looking for good pizza, and from the outside the place doesn't look all that great. My wife and I are originally from the Midwest where we had one of the top pizza places in the nation within 5 minutes (Wells Brother's Pizza), and Primo is right up there in quality. Employees are very friendly, PIZZA is EXCELLENT, and its 2 for 1 for all pizzas. Well worth the drive, and we will be making it frequently. Only down side is the dining area is tiny, so I recommend carry-out or delivery. read more

It was delicious, I loved it and my kids loved it! We ordered the four cheese and Greek with red sauce pizzas. They are not limited to just pizza, their menu is huge. We stumbled across Primo's by accident, but what a happy accident! We take advantage of their delivery at least once a week. Our children love the B1G1 free pizza deal, which ensures that they each get a favorite (with lots of leftovers). My husband and I love their gyros and salads (not to mention their calzones!). Tony, the owner, could NOT be nicer -- he occasionally features Mediterranean specials, and even called me earlier today when he had prepared something that he thought that we'd particularly like (I have to give a shout out to his Pastitio -- it is absolutely delicious!). Primo's prices are very reasonable, the portions are extremely generous, and the food is simply fantastic.
