They gave our pizza away with another order. The staff was unapologetic. They did offer to make our pizza while hubby waited. He did not want to wait 20 mins for another pizza because by the time it was ready, it would be 9pm. We use to order their pasta, pizza & salad dishes. Once there was a change in ownership or management, the quality of the pasta and salads became tasteless and bland. We do not order them. Service was great. Environment clean. Pizza just ok. So their pizza by slice offerings are par cooked then the customer adds their toppings. In theory this is good so you can have it your preferred style but for me the toppings just didn't stick to the cheese and fell off. Also the toppings are less cooked and crunchy versus being cooked together with the same level of doneness. The crust was really dry in some parts. Just not my desired way to eat pizza. The order was two medium's half chicken Alfredo and the other sirarcha chicken they both were really flavorful. The other we had was regular pepperoni and the other half hot honey pepperoni and that had to be my favorite now I did expect way more heat and there wasn't but the honey with pepperoni I had no idea would be so scrumptious!! We did take out on a Friday night, I am always in the mood for NY style pizza and the Yelp reviews were good, so off we went. We had a small pepperoni and large margherita pizza, plus the Bros salad with Italian dressing. And cheesecake for dessert. We were about a 20 minute drive from the restaurant so when we got home the pizza was not so hot. The first slice was "this is not good." But then I warmed everything in the oven and it was an entirely different experience! The crust was crispy (we ordered thin crust) and the flavors were outstanding. Really good pie. The salad was the real star. An outstanding salad with generous ingredients and the Italian dressing was phenomenal. I could eat that salad and dressing everyday. The cheesecake was ok. but a bit disappointing. It was not bad but was sweeter and not as dense was cheesecake in NYC (where I lived for 3 years). Overall, really good pizza, outstanding salad. I was excited to try this spot because it's New York style pizza in my part of town. And I also wanted to support the local small business because they closed for a while during the shutdown. Disappointed to say the least. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and what I got tasted like a cold cheese pizza that was sitting around all day and they threw some pepperoni on it and put it in the oven for a few minutes. We order a pizza to be delivered. The pizza was ok nothing crazy but the took a very long time to deliver it. I paid on the phone and my wife picked up the pizza downstairs. She say a delivery fee on the ticket and thought I left a tip on the phone and that was the delivery fee. A few minutes after we where eating the pizza we got a call from the manager of the store with a very sarcastic voice asking if everything was ok when we said yes he started asking why we didn't leave a tip and we explained that it wasn't intentional and apologized and he continued to be sarcastic saying "oh ok not intentional, we thought something went wrong". Recently I babysat my cousin's kids and they wanted to go to Brothers for pizza. Their mom and dad said the place was pretty good and reasonable so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is like your typical mom and pop pizza place. You can dine in, take out, or have it delivered. Everything was fresh and hot. I did not take advantage of the $5 Pizza Slice Express but I got the Stromboli Express which comes with a drink and side salad! The salad was excellent and the stromboli is huge but so delicious. The kids had cheese and pepperoni pizza. The slices are huge! The kids wanted dessert so we got the Black Forest Cheesecake and the Chocolate Mousse Cake. The desserts were a great ending to a wonderful meal! I definitely need to go back and try the Carrot Cake! Definitely plan on going back when I am in the area!
