They worked around our schedule and were efficient while still taking the time to make sure everything was done right. They repaired one of our cabinets and went the extra mile to track down the correct hinges, which were not easy to find. They also patched up our door to the garage as we requested and gave us helpful recommendations for more durable, long-term repair options. Overall, they were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and easy to work with. We really appreciated their attention to detail and willingness to find the right solutions. We would definitely recommend First Choice Home Service!

**Five-Star Service from Igor!** I had a great experience…read morewith First Choice Home Service. Igor came out and handled two tasks that I'd been meaning to get done for a while. He successfully hung a very heavy picture frame perfectly on the wall, and he finally fixed my shower door, which had been broken for several months. He worked incredibly fast and completed everything at a very reasonable rate. What I appreciated most was how tidy he was--he cleaned up all the trash and even cleaned the floor afterward so you couldn't even tell any work had been done. I highly recommend them and will definitely ask for Igor again for future projects!

Extremely unprofessional and abusive experience…read more I created a project through Yelp, and Yelp automatically sent my request to various businesses. I was contacted by someone named Elmar. The call came from a number showing on my caller ID as 408-396-8070. Instead of simply discussing the project, he immediately became hostile and started swearing at me, including saying "F*** this" and "F*** you," before abruptly hanging up. I was completely caught off guard. I had simply submitted a project request through Yelp and had not done anything to warrant this kind of treatment. This was an absolutely unacceptable and highly unprofessional way to treat a potential customer. I will also be filing a complaint with Yelp regarding this interaction so they are aware of how a business responding to Yelp project requests is treating potential customers. **UPDATE: I am providing screenshots to document what actually happened.** In his response to my review, Elmar claims that my account of him calling me and using profanity is "completely false" and that "nothing like this ever happened." That is not true. I am uploading two screenshots that document the sequence of events: 1. **At 3:10 PM**, Elmar responded to my Yelp Project request stating, **"I don't provide that service."** 2. **At 3:12 PM**, just two minutes later, my call history shows that I received a call from **408-396-8070**, which is the business phone number listed on this Yelp business profile. During that 3:12 PM call, Elmar was extremely hostile and directed profanity and abusive language toward me, including **"F*** this" and "F*** you,"** before hanging up. The timing is particularly significant. If Elmar had already responded to my Yelp request at 3:10 PM stating that he did not provide the service, there would have been no apparent reason for him to call me two minutes later unless he wanted to discuss something further. That call did in fact occur, as my call history confirms. Elmar now claims that the call and abusive behavior never happened. The screenshots provide contemporaneous documentation of the Yelp response immediately before the call and the subsequent call from the business number. I am providing this documentation because Elmar chose to publicly accuse me of making false accusations and acting in bad faith. I believe potential customers should have the opportunity to see the documented timeline and make their own judgment. I have also reported this matter to Yelp and will provide Yelp with the same documentation.

After looking around it seemed like people wanted a lot of money for that task, more than I would have liked to pay. I will definitely hire him next time we need some extra work around the house. If you're looking for somebody that is skilled and reasonably priced, give him a call.

It was a little more than I wanted to spend on windows, but given the complexity of the task and the great service Ayhan provided it was worth it. I am very excited to have working windows again and will definitely be using Mr. Fix again in the future for handy man work!

It started with a walkthrough to look at a few things, and one of the main projects was building a partition wall in our room. I talked to probably 10 contractors before this and so many of them were giving me the half-ass version of how they'd do it. But the way he explained his approach was exactly right, and I had already done enough research to know the difference. That alone told me everything I needed to know. The work ethic, the craftsmanship, the attention to detail. It looks like it came with the house, which is exactly what I wanted. They finished the build correctly and matched the color perfectly. I could have left the house and trusted them completely. He also just genuinely knows his stuff. Like when I asked about weatherstripping, he didn't just say yes and do it. He explained that if your door alignment is off, the weatherstrip isn't going to fix the gap anyway, so let's address the actual problem. That kind of honesty and thoroughness is rare. Part of me is reluctant to even write this because he already has great reviews and I selfishly don't want to lose access to him. But he's an excellent human being and just a truly great person to work with. Highly recommend.

The handyman completed all of these in about an hour. This is both a good and a bad thing-- good because he is very efficient, but their service charge has a two hour minimum requirement.
