He works with a practice -- PreMed which has multiple locations around Dayton, he works 4 days a week in Huber Heights and 1 day a week in Kettering I believe. Not only did I find him very professional --- his whole philosophy is that both the Dr and the parent should be an advocate for the child -- but after deciding to use him he has been great with my daughter. We had some weight issues with her after her birth and he and his staff worked with me to make sure we got her on track. I was there about every 3 days for about the first 3 weeks so I can tell you that all the nurses and staff I saw were great! He even called me on a Saturday to follow up, as I had seen his nurse and not him the previous Wed (and not him)... I was floored! What Dr. calls you at home without you first calling him?!? He is very cautious and will tell you that he leans on being very conservative as he doesn't want to overlook any issues --- and he encourages you to bring a list of questions for him to each appointment. As a new mom this is GREAT for me! I would highly recommend him.

I noticed that they don't have resources on autism on their website [They have patient education resources on ADHD, impetigo, puberty, and more, for context). I would have emailed them about it, but there is no clear way to do this. They are on a paper system with no digital website to track appointments or tests or what not. When you need to schedule an appt good luck without sitting on hold for half an hour. Need to ask a question of the clinical staff for symptoms your child is experiencing? Then you better get ready to be disregarded. Looking to get in and out of appointments? Better block out at least 2 hours of time at being inside their facility. Want the nurse to come back quickly and give your child shots? Better start the clock because every time it's at least 30 minutes before they come back into the room once the Dr leaves. Highly frustrated with this place. The only saving grace is the doctors. Don't get me started on the sign that says to be nice to their staff and they are short staffed. Who isn't short staffed, do your job right and you won't hear anyone being frustrated with your practice! However, recently our daughter became ill and we made an appointment. We were not allowed to see a physician because the first thing they do is try to pawn you off to a nurse practitioner. That would not have been bad, however, the nurse practitioner was unable to figure out what the illness was. She ordered increasingly expensive and invasive testing. We refused to take the nurse practitioner's suggestions and asked to see and actual physician. We were told,through a secretary that no physician in the office would see us because they depend on the advice of the nurse practitioner. We immediately made an appointment with another physician practice and that physician immediately diagnosed bronchitis and gave her an antibiotic which cleared up her illness immediately. In their to quest to shuttle loyal patients to non-doctors and to avoid giving out antibiotics, they lose sight of the individual patient. Our daughter had not had antibiotics for years. There was no reason for us to spend thousands of dollars on x-rays and ultrasounds when one round of antibiotics cleared up the whole problem. This practice is all about money. The welfare of patients does not even rate a close second in importance. Avoid this place.
