I just Started seeing Rocking Horse Center for Psychitary. I have no complaints with them so far and learning to trust again! I see Amy, she has so far great, and I feel comfortable with being completely honest with her. She gives me options on my meds and respects my decisions with what my choices are. She lets me know if I need anything to just message her and if I need an appointment to just call or message her over portal. I won't go into details, but she has slowly showed me that I can start trusting mental health providers. I am big on advocating for mental health. I hope to keep doing with this business with them! If I need to update my review, I will, weather its good or bad (hopefully good). All I ask is for help and communication, especially when It comes to this kid of care! read more

I had a nice visit with a doctor today here at the Rocking horse center in Springfield. It is a clean facility with many employees to help guide you to the right place or assist you if you need any type of additional assistance while your here. The doctor I saw was Dr. Andres Barrero Ortiz MD., he was kind, insightful, and proficient in his abilities. I absolutely recommend him as a family doctor. Everyone seemed knowledgeable and resourceful. I found out they have a chiropractor and a dentist on site! Looks like I will look up both of those doctors and if they seem like the right fit .. we may try them out. We've been with our current dentist & chiropractor for a couple of decades ... worth a shot! Considering they are much closer than both of ours now. Paperwork was minimal and I didn't have to wait at all to get the Appt made - (less than a 3-day wait) and when I checked in today it took less than 10 minutes for them to call me back. 6/4/21 I went and seen chiropractor Jacob Thomas for the first time today. He is really good and listens well. Very good bed side manner. Denise at the check in desk is very nice and helpful. I look forward to going there in next week read more

Terrible. I called today to check on my appointment. Cha tell answered the phone after 15 min on hold. She said I had no appointment, which I knew that was wrong, but I let it slide. After all this is Springfield. So she asked for my new address then hung up on me. Lol Ya know from this phone call I know this place is not organized. Sad face read more

I'm not the least bit impressed with this center. Unfortunately in this town your options when it comes to medical care are limited. The other patients here are mostly low income, young, welfare parents so the expectations for parents who bring their kids in for pediatric care are low. They ask us insulting questions each time we go in. ("Is he still riding in a car seat??" My son is THREE!) I have called in several times when my child got hurt and they basically told me to put some ice on it and call back if things got worse. They weren't the least bit interested in seeing him to make sure the injuries weren't serious. We've had a billing issue a couple times and the visit has to be resubmitted. There's ALWAYS a ridiculously long wait but when you get to the back there's about a dozen staff members just standing at the desk. We're currently looking for another office somewhere close by but not in Springfield. If you have a relatively healthy child that doesn't frequently need anything other than annual well checks, vaccines, etc. then this place would be fine. If you have a child with a higher level of need I would recommend finding care somewhere else. Although I don't know where that would be in this area. read more
