Having ear pain and decreased hearing on that side, I searched for an urgent care facility. The Little Clinic was found on Yelp. A phone message lead me to make an appointment online for later that morning. I was seen earlier with another patient no showing. I was seen by Heather Ligante, the Licensed Nurse Practitioner, and a severe right sided otitis media, with a mild otitis media on the left. Amoxicillin was prescribed, and this prescription was conveniently filled right there at the Kroger Pharmacy next door. The staff, including a nursing student, were all professional and friendly. I appreciate their efforts, and I am on the mend.

I am 43 years old and get ear infections regularly. I know my body. The joke of a Nurse Practitioner said I have to have symptoms for 5 days. I said I've had symptoms for 6 days so she then changed it to 10 days. The first thing my daughter said when we left was can we please not go there again bc the doctor was so mean. Two days after seeing her, my ear drum ruptured because of her lack of care. If you must go here, do not see the nurse practitioner. You're better off not being seen at all.

We had been sitting in the waiting area the entire time and had not left. Instead, we were left feeling as though we were being blamed for missing an appointment when we had, in fact, been there the entire time. I found the nurse's communication and handling of the situation to be very unprofessional and disrespectful. We should not have been treated this way, especially when the information we were given was incorrect. I am asking that this incident be reviewed and that someone from the office follow up with us regarding what happened. I hope this can be addressed so that another patient or family does not experience the same situation.
