Waste of time and money. I made an appointment to get tested for strep. My throats been so sore I…read morewas crying in pain. I told them the pain was a 10/10 and I was unable to swallow. While asking for information about me I mentioned I'm allergic to penicillin and since that's the medicine you give to people with strep she said "oh great" under her breath like my allergy had been an inconvenience to her. They didn't give me anything at all. Just said if I felt worse and couldn't breath go to the emergency room. I will never ever be back and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Went here back in January for a long-term cold. Just had a strep-test, covid-test, and a flu…read morevaccine. Turns out, there was an issue with my insurance company and the claim was denied. I was not informed of this issue and my debit card was charged two months later for over $1100. The prices that they were charging were so much more than an Urgent Care visit. After contacting the insurance company, there was a system issue on their end and they said they would resubmit the claim within 30 days. Minute Clinic said that they would only refund me after they received the money from the insurance provider. They also mentioned the refund would take 4-6 weeks to process. This is absolutely ridiculous. How can they expect people to be able to wait for this process? If there is an issue with insurance, why can they not reach out to the patient to attempt to remedy before they charge your card without any notice? I will never give my service to Minute Clinic, or CVS for that matter.

Let me preface this by saying that I have been using this facility on and off for more than 35…read moreyears. That said, it has fallen far from where it once was. Despite the many advances in technology, the level of competence and leadership of this facility has dropped significantly. I now trust the Dayton VA more than the 88th medical group, and if you're a veteran, you know that is a bold statement. For standard daily care, the clinics are average among most facilities, of which I have a fairly extensive experience. The 88th will likely never match the level of care available at most Navy medical facilities but on it's own, the advanced care staff are downright dangerous, most particularly the surgical staff. I have 35 years, 50 hospitalizations and 35 surgeries behind me, including here at Wright Patterson, and I have never seen this level of absolute incompetence anywhere, ever. Do not let them touch your dependents unless you plan to spend the rest of your life caring for them after being utterly debilitated and infectious with MRSA for life. Thar is not an exaggeration at all. Avoid theire surgeons and critical care staff like the plague.
