First visit with Jennifer Daniels MD went well. She thoroughly discussed my breast cancer and…read morepossible lymph surgery. I was impressed with her detailed assessment and what to expect. She scheduled me for a CT scan, and RFID. Done within days. It started down hill after that, week after week not scheduled for surgery. I was told the scheduler was off and wait for a call. Another week not scheduled. I called Scheduler not there again that day and I needed a cardiac release before surgery could be scheduled. I called my heart doctor never received a request so called dr office got the request form and he got me in right away and faxed the release. Still not scheduled ... I called Dr Daniels office heart dr sent cardiac release why haven't I been scheduled for surgery? I was told scheduler is Only there thru Monday-Wed. Another week went by and scheduler not there. So I finally went to the office and complained isn't there someone else who can schedule my surgery? Well yes but they said the doctor took my file home! What? I finally got the call and surgery scheduled June 1st. Okay Then a few days later I was called surgery moved to May 28 then the night before surgery they called and moved surgery now on May 29 and finally Had the lumpectomy for breast cancer and 3 lymph nodes removed. The red haired nurse yelled at me you should have called to get appointment. You can't just show up. I already have an appointment this Wednesday. I'm too uncomfortable to wait. Red haired nurse yelled you should have called on call dr. She glared at me and said if I wanted she would look at it. We walked back to the room she angrily yelled and glared at me you coming in or not? I hesitated to go in. She yelled don't just stand there ignoring me you coming in or not! I left and I'm never going back!!!! I've had many surgeries at 77 years old I've never been treated so badly with such arrogance and disdain! Her attitude was how dare you just show up. You should have called for an appointment! I have an upcoming appointment I'm too uncomfortable to wait. I went to the ER!

I took my mom to an appointment here. The staff was nice and helpful. Everyone treated my mom well…read more My mom's broken wrist healed rather quickly I felt for a woman of 86. My one concern was that I felt that the doctor wasn't sincere when he asked my mom if she had any questions. It was half " man I hope she don't have any questions ". It seemed as if he was reading a script when he asked her But over all I am pleased with the care they provided my mom.

There's a way to treat people and there's a way not to treat people especially when one of their parents is about to go under surgery I will not forget this.

While the staff are very kind and helpful, I have an issue with the appointment process. They gave…read moreme an appointment card after a BC shot and on the day I was supposed to go in, there was no one there and it was closed. I called PP and asked them why my local PP facility was closed even though they scheduled me for an appointment. I was told it was "because there is a party today." The lady on the phone who worked in customer service said that this kept happening at this location and she thankfully got me in on the next day. On an even worse note, my close friend usually gets texts and emails from them when it's her appointment time, but they never sent a message to her and now she might be pregnant because of this. When she called asking when her next appointment was, they told her she was a MONTH late for her shot. When asked why she didn't get any messages, they said that "the email was lowercase so it didn't send." She also did not receive a notice for her being a "no-show" either. She also never received an appointment card or any written documentation for an appointment. My appointment dates are always written on the information papers from the depo-shot as well and not in an actual appointment card. I am in no way bashing planned parenthood, but if you are using the Springfield MO facility, take extra care and attention to when you are due for shots or checkups and write them down and put them in your calendar. I NEVER write reviews but I would hate for someone to have an experience like this and miss crucial birth control shots or procedures in general. I understand people mess up, but this isn't the kind of thing to take lightly. Thank you for the staff for always being kind, and I hope that this issue is resolved soon! These people can truly help you, just make sure you can keep track of appointment times and dates.
