They did recommend to main campus as they are not available after 10pm.they insisted us take ambulance but we denied it and drove my car. Admitted and allocated room after 2hrs.Abscess with drainage and redness they treated with a big procedure, came up with MRI , MRT and cut and 4days in hospital.They pressure us go for MRI where we actually denied, and she did not layover on mri bed. Again they forced us with anesthesia. Initially they told it's MRI it would cost us less than 1000$, but we received bill for MRI MRT and supportive nurse+specialist charge all around 10000$+ only for this result Which would not cover by the insurance. And treatment cost is more than my c-section cost. Never expected that much bill for small abscess. my cost responsibility is 60% more than c-section price after insurance. Based on our observations, while visiting, and their feedback at the hospital, Nationwide Children's Hospital is a great facility with a very caring and dedicated staff. This is a HUGE campus that is spread out for blocks. I know where we were, but I don't know what the building is called. I know the underground parking garage was blue. Parking was $2, no matter how long we were there. We did not hit the cafeteria but did stop in at a Crimson Cup coffee shop for something to drink. They had some drinks and snacks there. Would I go back? If I had to, yes, but I'd rather not. You know what I mean. This is a hard one to review because ultimately it's a pretty bad situation. Unless you work there, it's the last place you want to be. I'm looking at it like this - If I had to be at a children's hospital, I was happy with Nationwide Children's Hospital.

On top of that, their pricing was far more affordable than most of the other places I contacted. Once I arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure to double-check that everything I needed could be completed during my visit. I was assisted by a newly graduated nurse who was training a medical assistant, and both of them did an amazing job. As a student myself, I really appreciated how supportive, professional, and knowledgeable they were throughout the entire process. Dr. Spegal completed my physical and was extremely efficient, helpful, and thorough. The assessment was quick but still very professional and attentive. I had to have corrective foot surgery early this year and this was the facility my podiatrist operated out of. I arrived at the butt crack of dawn and was one of the first patients to get registered for the day. The entire process was very smooth and swift and the staff from start to finish were great. The waiting rooms were clean with a ton of space and my mom was comfortable while she waited on me. Once back in pre op I felt like I was in great hands. The nurses and doctors made sure I was comfortable and even made a few jokes to help me relax as I was fairly anxious. Once I came out of anesthesia they didn't waste time helping me get home... which can sometimes be a pain in the butt. Overall, I had a great experience. I was a little weary at first just because the building looks a little grimy from the outside but, never judge a book by it's cover. Thanks for taking good care of me.

They have renovated the inside of the building and it looks better than it had five years ago but still many walls are painted in a dismal institutional beige. Checking in is easy. There is a front dest. She routes you to a numbered stall where your information is verified. Then they give you directions to find your docs practice location. Tip: If they tell you go to the Brutus hallway that is aka as "to the right" of the front desk. I saw my sports doc here for an ankle injury: Dr Anthony. He is definitely 5+ stars. He is very good at listening to what is bothering you as well as he is examining/diagnosing/treating the injury. So far, I have avoided surgery, but he does that as well. . Of course, every patient has to make their own decision, but I do not recommend this physician to anyone's care. We all have moments where we are not having our greatest day, but should never be brought to work. Always care for others, and of course, patients should always show respect to staff as well.
