I recently visited One Beauty Salon and had a highly disappointing experience. First and foremost,…read morethe salon's hygiene standards were severely lacking. I requested a pillow for my back and as you can see in the pictures. I got a stained, disgusting pillow that I had to use for the entire treatment. On top of that, cotton swab I used kept leaving fibers behind on my face, in my mouth; it's just all so gross! The salon was not transparent about their pricing. I got a gift card for Mother's Day, and instead of regular facial, I wanted to go with Hydrafacial instead. The website quoted $175 online, but when I was done, I was told that the prices have increased, and they charged me $200 instead of honoring the price they had online. Mind you not, I still tipped 20% on the service. Finally, they did not have a relaxing experience. The room is right behind their store (Shiseido). The tech kept the figure white light on the entire team, used her iPad to play calming music, and I felt like I was in a football stadium the whole time. She didn't even cover my eyes, and had the light beaming on my face the entire time. The treatment was painful, and that's something that wasn't conveyed before either. Overall I loved Olivia because of the massage she gave me in the end. But overall; the salon did not follow through with what they promised on their website. The treatments and services advertised were vastly different in quality from what was delivered. I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for a reliable and hygienic facial experience. RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED & EXTREMELY GHETTO!!

How to feel like a Queen without selling the Castle…read more The reality of another year's passing brings joy, cake, song, and unfortunately a line or two. Most of the time family, work, and the day-to-day chores we place before us, make the moments we have to relax are ones to savor. At the suggestion of a good friend, I decided to try something new to remove some dark spots given generously by the sun God, this led me to Dr. Kaga. Located in Marlboro, NJ I had family come along for moral support since I was entering unknown territory. As we parked and made our way up the stairs, I felt the anxiety slowing rising as I pulled open the door, and what I found inside is nothing like I had imagined. The center is clean and bright and not in an antiseptic way but a classic, and regal design. Every aspect of this center was orchestrated to reflect beauty, inside and out. The main room, with its floor-to-ceiling glass walls, has at its center a white leather reclining chair, bright flickering chandeliers, and gold and crystal accents throughout. The whole Queen of the castle Vibe from your first moment. Dr. Kaga herself looks at you like Michelangelo viewing the clear palette of the Sistine chapel and she captures each angle to ensure that your results not only meet but surpass your goals. Dark spots gifted by the ravages of time, with the steady hand of Dr. Kaga and the Pico Genesis laser start to fade away as a new fresh face emerges, still you but brighter, lighter, and clearer. The entire team of Doctors, PA's, and medical personnel especially Dr. Kaga and Sonya made this an hour to uncover a brighter face, hiding below the sun-damaged one. If you want to feel like a Queen without being taxed like a subject, this is the place to go. The Kaga Institute gave me the crown back!

Everything is kept clean. As you sit back and relax, jazz music is played in the background and you forget where you are. Some treatments offered: Microdermabrasion, Glycolic peels, Seaweed Masks and Body Wraps. My peel was $25, pretty unbeatable and worth trying. I have been a few times and will be a regular client. My skin has been clearing up, looking even, and very fresh. Thanks to these unbeatable prices, I am able to take care of myself without question. Update- Tried the facial today with the seaweed mask. Definitely try it! I loved the seaweed mask!

She got wax everywhere including the massage chair because of how messily she was applying the wax. She also had someone helping her out who I don't think had any experience with waxing given the way she needed constant guidance on what to do. She and her helper kept roughly yanking off the strips repeatedly, leaving several painful bruises on my arms and legs. I have been regularly waxing for over 10 years now and I am very used to the pain/discomfort/slight bruising in the aftermath, but this was not normal and was by far the worst experience I have ever had.

After the first laser treatment, the vessels on my face were all but gone completely! I just had a slight one on my chin. I went into the office today in Sea Girt for a 12 o'clock appointment with Kim Clemente and was…read moreasked by the front desk, girl if this was my first time at the office. I told her no, that I had been there before yet she wouldn't believe me, asked me if I had the wrong location and then finally realized that it had been a few years and that they didn't transfer my profile over. From there, I was standing at the front desk, waiting for forms to fill out, watching her print out documents and clicking on her computer, but she continue to ignore me. After five minutes, I just took a seat, as I figured that I didn't need to do anything. It would've been nice for her to let me know that I could sit instead of standing there. Eventually, I was taken into a back room where I was asked again if this was my first visit. It had been several years since I had been to the office, so the tech suggested Kim evaluate me before moving forward. I agreed. She took a few pictures and then proceeded to walk a few steps behind me and make work phone calls. I find it odd for techs to be making Work phone calls in the same room as a waiting patient. Eventually, she walked out the back door and I was left sitting in a room that had to have been about 75 to 78° in temperature. I'm not sure if their air-conditioning was working, but it was boiling hot in the office. By 12:20 pm I had had enough, and decided that this was definitely not the atmosphere I wanted to get any sort of aesthetic procedure done. I walked past the room where Kim was sitting with a patient chatting and told her that I was leaving. She followed me out of the office to apologize for my experience and let me know that she had lost a friend to a car accident and she was discussing that with her longtime patient. While I have sympathy for her loss, I don't have time in my work schedule to accommodate for her personal life. There is a time and a place for these conversations. I needed to get back to work for a business meeting and there was no consideration in her mind for that, which is why I will not be returning to this practice.

Every time I interact with someone over the phone they sound like I have somehow inconvenienced them. It's ridiculous that their email address and submission form on their website are advertised as ways to get in contact with them when no one responds. I spent well over a month trying to obtain written information on the procedures I have gotten done over the years as something had changed and I had an allergic reaction after my last appointment. Despite this, there was still no urgency on the front desk's end. When I called the first time I was told I would receive a response to my email and it never happened. I called again a few days later and the same thing was said and I still have nothing. Not to mention both people I spoke with were far from friendly or helpful. The poor customer service, as well as countless issues I have had with my filler and premature migration, is what made me switch practices. Nicole told me that my filler migration was my fault because of my anatomy. What's insane is she still offered to add more filler if I wanted. I received a second opinion from someone much more experienced and learned it's a technique issue and based on pictures I have, I had migration VERY early on. Nicole made me pay to get it dissolved when the migration wasn't my fault. Nicole also not only injected me with an active cold sore which led to an infection, but I had a scary occlusion because of her work. Her lack of patient education and one size fits all mentality is scary. Please do your research before coming here. I had one awful experience after another and am now with the most incredible injector elsewhere. I will never recommend this practice to anyone.

When I called I scheduled an appointment for massages and specified for spa week I was asked aromatherapy or deep tissue, and I asked if we can be in the same room. At check out they charged us $165 for up charges that we were not told about. Very unprofessional. On top of all of this it was not even a great message.
