She said they didn't serve food until later in the day, even though the online menu said otherwise. My martini was great. Service was subpar. She set my martini on the edge of the bar and I had to go up and get it- no big deal, I just thought it was odd since they weren't busy. The bartender never came back over to me; I went up to the bar to close out and pay my bill like 15 minutes after I finished my drink. There are certainly some kinks to work out, especially with service, but this place has potential to be very nice!

I highly recommend you get this even if you're not vegetarian, it's that good, trust me! My girlfriend's striped bass was cooked to perfection. The tamarind chili sauce it was cook in was the perfect balance with the light flaky texture of the fish. Add the lemon ginger rice to each bite of fish for an umami explosion. Then add on top of that the garlic chips takes this dish over the top to flavor heaven. She loved it and so did I as I finished the remaining portion she couldn't finish. This place has so much to offer in all-regards to the interior and exterior. It's very clean and the staff are top notch. I wish we could have booked a room upstairs the night we ate here though because that would have made our night that much better, but every room was booked. We ended up stayed at a local place right over the hill because we wanted to celebrate and didn't want to drive far. Sadly the place we stayed at was horrible but this place took away from that experience and made us have a beautiful evening regardless. However, if the posted signage has a closing time of 2pm that means you are open and taking customers until that time. If the kitchen closes earlier, that should be posted. If that isn't the case, even if you really want to clock out, you need to stay. Especially if you're located in a remote location with travelers coming through. Luckily there was a Dollar General nearby and we could grab something to eat... not the experience we were hoping for.
