When I arrived back from Texas I was surprised the company had been purchased and they had no record of my previous reservation with Steven from Simpsonville Storage. Oh goodness what a mess, I soon learned the previous owner had lied to me and didn't bother to reserve or pass on any information even though it had only been a week. (He knew the business was up for sale and purposely lied to me and mislead me). Upon working with Karen at the new company, She helped me figure out all the paper work and managed to get me a unit the same day! Karen, is amazing! I was in a pickle for sure, and she was able to make it all work for us. I have been very impressed with her service and would recommend this storage facility. Its clean and the new company cares.

I spoke to her and told her of the unprofessional treatment I received from the time of delivery to the exit. She stated she would speak to the operations manager and send me a release form for reimbursement of damages, etc. That has been done and I received acknowledgement of the form being received. I finally called them a few days before the move, where someone immediately and very rudely told me that they couldn't move me. They said they were booked up, and didn't have the men. Another guy then tried to tell me that it was an "IT issue" with their central office, not their fault so they couldn't do anything. Through trying to complain about this issue, I was connected back to them and spoke to somebody else. This time his excuse was that a "truck broke down" after I scheduled my move. I do not believe a single one of their ever-shifting excuses. Sure, they're giving me my deposit back and "taking responsibility", but none of that helps me when I have to be out of my place in less than a week. He just kept insisting that someone else can do it (and would not listen when I told him that I did the legwork already and that wasn't true). Do not book with this awful, scam of a company. They will cancel your move and completely screw you over and do nothing to make it right outside of the barest possible minimum.
