Perfect transaction with Sibbie the manager. Not a good experience when we called in to make the reservation. That person, did not catch her name but wish I had so I could do a formal complaint. When asking questions she became agitated and rude. Canceled the reservation with her and made it ourselves online. After a few months my rate was increased significantly. Luckily I didn't have much stored in there at the time and closed my account. Sibbie is the manager here at the Simpsonville public storage. We met her yesterday when we inquired about a unit to store our household belongings while we were between homes, building our new home. She was incredibly welcoming and had tons of advice about our quick move including suggested size unit. She drove us to the different size units and showed us wonderful professionalism and tons of information. She truly loves her job and treated us like family. She offered various purchases to us with included info in a non pushy way. (Lock, packing supplies etc) turns out their prices are very good- I did my research. We signed the contract, purchased the lock from them and begin to move our things. On our second trip to came over and offered us bottled water and checked to see if we needed anything. She personally drives the facility And checks the units daily. Wonderful experience, super helpful and informative, very very sweet, and feeling very happy we are storing our things here while we build. Thank you Sibbie! *******Adding unfortunate notes to my review. Absolutely nothing to do with Sibbie and her customer service. (thats why i am keeping the 5 stars) We signed our storage unit contract in June. November I received a price increase notice. I called Sibbie and she suggested I call customer service (corporate deals with pricing). The online price is cheaper than what i WAS paying and even more cheaper than what the price increased to. I called customer service to see if they could work something out with me. I thought it was unfair the prices were increasing so high. Customer service rep may has well been a robot. She just kept saying "you can expect prices increases at anytime once or twice a year". I asked about loyalty or working with me on price. She just repeated her message. So if you use Public Storage expect exceptional customer service at this location, but definitely not with corporate. And keep in mind they submit price increases once or twice a year. At this rate, my monthly cost could INCREASE $30 or MORE EACH YEAR. read more

We had our household items stored here for a while until we completed our move from NY state. When we arrived to move our items out we found The manager, Jane, to be just as friendly and helpful as she was when we rented the space. Our stuff was safe, dry and just as we left it. Jane made to check out process easy and quick. Great facility and we will use it again if ever needed. read more

Sibbie was very helpful and made sure to set all expectations regarding size, prices, insurance and additional fees. I priced the competition and although there was a larger unit available for $20 less with another company, It was much less convenient. I think the prices could be a bit lower, but for short term rental it isn't bad and definitely less than competitors in same area. read more
