Fixed my roof as needed, been a client of him for years. I appreciate the hard work he does with fair pricing.

Today 5/20/26 at around 9:30AM I called to check if they had NYC trash bins on hand. A woman picked…read moreup and did not greet me or initiated the communication when she answered. I asked if the bins were available she said "No" I then asked if they were more bins coming in she again said "No" Then I asked to speak to a supervisor as she obviously was not willing to provide me with basic information about the product. She claimed she was a supervisor. I also asked for her name she answer "Jenny" and that was all I needed to know. I proceeded to end the call after that. This is horrible customer service. Here we have a person getting paid for doing a simple retail job of answering questions for customers and yet fails miserably at doing it. The funny thing is she probably believes she deserves to be employed there even though she's not doing her job at all. I never get this type of treatment when I call the HD in Manhattan. Jenny please find a job that you enjoy doing, but more importantly actually do it.

Yes! I have the lamp I've been wanting for 20 years! And it didn't even cost that much! Now my…read moreliving room can look like the interior of Yaffa Cafe! The very first time I went into the Every Thing Goes Gallery, I had a strong feeling they were going to be the place I finally got my tacky Italian lamp with a marble table attached. They didn't have one at the time.. but I asked a very helpful employee, and he said that yes, they did get such things in from time to time... I asked him to call me if ever they did... I didn't get a call, but checking in from time to time works... I even had two to choose from! And it's so perfect! It actually wasn't the only thing I desperately wanted there. They also had a couple of lovely vintage art deco dressers with the round mirrors... I've always wanted one of those, too, but I can't afford a new bedroom set right now... even though the prices are truly amazingly good. If it's your thing, they also have a whole room devoted to 1950's modernist stuff... and just all kinds of vintage furniture, art objects and decor items... sculpture, dishes, rugs, glassware... etc. Even more useful - they have a photo gallery of new stuff for sale, updated a couple of times a week, on their website. They don't offer delivery service, but if the item(s) you're buying aren't *too* large, there's a car service right next door which will be happy to ferry you and your new acquisitions to the ferry... or elsewhere. And the employees at the Gallery will be happy to help you get your items to the car. *Closed on Sundays and Mondays! If they seem to be closed when they ought to be open, go to the furniture store on the next block and ask them to let you in - they'll be more than happy to do so!

Better than I had hoped it would be. A friend recommended I shop at this store because I wanted…read morerelatively inexpensive - but not necessarily "cheap" furniture. The sales people (I dealt with Vinny) are friendly and not pushy. I left and came back a couple times (after comparing their items to some other stores) and never felt pressured to "sign now." They have several samples on the floor to see and feel what items are like and they have dozens of books to go through if you (like me) need more choices. I found it difficult to actually compare prices between different furniture at different stores, but I got the sense that the quality of the furniture at this store is pretty good and the prices are definitely reasonable. Once ordered, I was given an estimated time frame for the items, which was followed-up on that day with a phone call giving me more precise information. My order came in two deliveries (bedroom and living room sets) and both times I was given accurate delivery windows (within a few hours) within which the deliveries were actually made. The delivery men for both deliveries were professionally dressed (store "uniforms") and were all polite and pleasant. I will definitely recommend this store to my friends, and in fact I have already done so.

I will never go back to this place again.

No one greeted me or asked if I needed help which is fine, but then I felt like I was being profiled, watched intensely, and closely being followed around for browsing around the store for a while, putting things in my basket, and testing the scents of products that I was curious about. I also think that an employee came to check my basket under the pretense of "grabbing" something from the cabinets that it was sitting on top of, which consisted of them opening each one consecutively for like a second and then closing them and walking away. I ended up buying things but it was such an uncomfortable and odd experience especially because nothing felt subtle at all. Aside from how obvious everything felt, I noticed all of this because I am a regular customer and I've NEVER experienced this at this particular store, plus the employees have only ever been pleasant and friendly every other time I shop here. Please do better
