He had great communication, told me he wouldn't charge to figure out the problem and didn't. He spent time at my house working to figure out where the leak was (under the dishwasher) and even noticed another leak under our kitchen sink. In the end he charged us a very reasonable rate and discovered that the dishwasher housing was the problem once he repaired a hose line. Looks like we will be working through the manufacturer to get a replacement dishwasher. Alma offered to install it for us, too. Really nice guy, friendly, and honest. Thanks Alma! We'll definitely call him again when we need more plumbing work done.

We hired a company to come out and flush our tankless hot water tank. They told us that the water softener that Mission Plumbing installed was installed wrong. The input and the output hoses were installed wrong, and we whould not be getting any soft water at all. We were also told that the water softener was too small for the size of our homr (4800 SF), and that the beads that we were seeing on the floor when it was installed is coming from the water softener. So we had to have another company take out the old water softener and plumb it correctly. I would not recommend this company to do your plumbing. They are not worth the high price, the work is not good, and the value is questionable at best.

(You are supposed to clean out the heat exchanger once a year so that is a problem. ). I tried to call Mission Plumbing many times to get these issues resolved and they did not answer the phone. However when I called using another phone, they did answer. Go figure. I was told they were driving and would call back in a couple minutes. No call came. All in all, I spent close to $2,000 getting an installation corrected that could have been done right the first time. And of course, it's highly disturbing that they won't answer the phone unless I call from a number with which they aren't familiar. Did they do that on purpose? I'm not a mind reader but you can make up your own mind, I'm sure.

After cleaning the vents and dryer and full dryer troubleshooting, we contacted At Your Service Pros (kudos to the Costco-dispatched tech for noticing the extremely hot circuit breaker). At Your Service was very flexible on appointment times, and one of their techs, Kyle, came out to service the home. Kyle reproduced and diagnosed the issue to the circuit breaker. Not only did he fix the circuit breaker, but he also noticed some of the wiring needed to be placed at the service panel, which he did as well. He also checked the other breakers while he was out there and made sure the dryer outlet was okay. Lo and behold, the dryer works perfectly now. Thanks Kyle and At Your Service for getting this issue fixed and for taking a larger look at the panel to make sure things look okay. I appreciate Kyle was on time and that the service was professional and efficient.

I had always been pleased with their prompt and professional services, but I wasn't sure how well they would do on fixing the stinky water for my cabin in Kamas. While researching my options, I reached out to them through Yelp late one evening and was impressed to get a prompt reply with questions about our situation and what we wanted to accomplish. Through our discussion I realized that we needed additional water testing than the county-mandated bacterial tests. I scheduled a visit at their design center in Orem and brought samples of our water for testing. They did the testing while I waited, showed me various options for treatment and helped to calculate the operational costs and maintenance services required to keep everything running properly. This was really helpful because some of these technologies cost more upfront than others but cost a lot less in the longterm, something I didn't realize from prior research and discussions. They handled the stinky water with an oxidizing system followed by Symphony Ultrafiltration and Ultraviolet since I wanted peace of mind that my water would be safe in the event of a power outage. I ended up not buying a water softener for this cabin, opting instead for the Active Armour salt-free system to control hard water scale since we don't do significant laundry there. I requested the installation service for a Saturday, and they graciously accommodated me. Their installation team was punctual and professional (they wore booties to protect our floor). Installation of all of the equipment took about 4 hours and they cleaned up afterwards (this scored points with my girlfriend). After installation they took time to teach me how to maintain the systems and what to look for in the event something went wrong. Crusader is not the cheapest option, but for me, they are the best!

I've been a Scott Hale customer for many years now. They've done many jobs for me and they also…read morereplaced my water heater, furnace and AC unit when they conked out. The old furnace went out the day before Thanksgiving one year, and they had a new one installed and running the same day. I appreciate the employees who have provided good service over the years. In the beginning I referred friends to SH, saying they are not necessarily cheap but they do good work. (Looking back, I realize however that I overpaid for the new water heater and other some other major expenses, I was just naïve and didn't do due diligence. More about overcharging below.) That being said, I've given up on SH. Too often my encounters with its employees go wrong. The person they send may or may not have experience with my issue, and they never ask for help from other employes. One recommended I have a new air intake installed (he came twice and couldn't get rid of the awful noise) and when I finally got a different guy over, he fixed the whistling noise just by recaulking the area; it was gone in minutes. Another guy made excuses for the (unsupervised) people who ripped up large patches of drywall because they didn't know to go through an interior wall; SH paid for the extra drywall repairs, which I appreciated. Another guy freaked out about the "sewage" he imagined must be under the board beneath my sink (there was none). Another couldn't tolerate me saying that I had never had a leaky condensation pipe until they replaced the AC. My 10+ years in my home meant nothing, and this is consistent: many times the repairmen will not give credence to anything I say, and however neutrally I state it, react as if I'm challenging them in some way. The latest incident is the $1800 estimate for replacing my kitchen sink (labor only). The guy said it would take 2-3 hours to remove the old sink (!!) and added that he would "cap the pipes" so I wouldn't lose water to the rest of house. I mean, there's upselling and then there's just BS. The plumber I hired removed the old sink in 20 mins and is charging a few hundred dollars for the whole job (including installing the new one). And of course the water to the house didn't have to be shut off, there are valves right under the sink. I'm really appalled they would just...lie.

The reviews convinced this super skeptic when it comes to making the call for someone to give a bid on an expensive repair. It was easy to set up an appointment and they were here when they said they would be. They spent time talking me through the options and didn't hard sell me on anything. They didn't even suggest a replacement but I was already anticipating it because our unit had reached its limit. They said they could install one of their partner water heaters or I could purchase one and have them install it for me, both at reasonable rates. I ended up going with their water heater because it could be done same day without a lot of hassle. The pricing was fair and reasonable. They were done in a couple hours and we are back up and running with hot water. Many of the other companies that claim to be local have been bought out by private equity firms and their pricing reflects it. Steer clear. These guys are legit and will be the place I call when water/plumbing-related issues arise!
