Any decent technician knows that you can fully replace a shrader valve with a simple tool and no lost refrigerant. It's a $50 fix that Google describes as a fix an average home owner could do. Glad they got there $79 dollars out of me for useless information. Wouldn't trust these guys without doing your own research.

It's only 2 rooms and one is rarely ever used. He gave us upfront pricing and information about each unit. In the end he suggested we use mini splits which saves us over a thousand dollars upfront as well as utilities cost as we only need cool one room when it's being used. One of the units had issues after a week and when we called him back, he came right out no questions asked and fixed it. He didn't charge us a dime and it's been working great since! The second time we called was when our heater went out. He came out and first looked to see if he could fix it. When he couldn't, he didn't just say yup it's broken, he showed me the problem and explained in detail what's wrong and why it needs to be replaced. Again the process was the same as last time. Gave me options and up front pricing. Explained each unit never steering me toward one product. It was a cold week and he squeezed us in 2 days and offered to let us use space heaters until it was installed. Lastly he cleans up his mess. We had actually called someone else when looking to add A/C and had them clean out our vents and they left a huge mess and lost 2 big jobs. Barwick wont do that to you. We have had several plumbers out over the last 10 years for service, repair, and even replacement of our radiant heating system. None of them knew what they were doing. We have had meager heat in our home ever since we bought it. Every time I called someone who claimed to be a boiler specialist, they'd tinker with the boiler, give their "expert" opinion about why it wasn't adequate, or what needed to be done to make it adequate. Nothing ever worked. A few years ago we finally had to replace the boiler. The plumber who did the replacement claimed he knew what he was doing. He did not. We've been without heat in our home for the last 3 winters. Enter Randy. First off, Randy is just an incredibly nice person. He cares about his customers. He values honesty, quality, and his reputation. He stands behind his work with both parts AND labor warrantees! Randy has worked with us, understanding our predicament, and sympathizing with our whole ordeal. He has gone above and beyond to help us find a solution. In the end, we had to replace the total botch job from the former plumber who defrauded us. It no longer worked because of the dozens of blunders made by said idiot plumber. Randy helped us find an affordable, superior solution. It cost a fraction of what we paid for the botch job. Randy's prices are more than fair. Randy, CJ, and Paul came out and installed a new tankless boiler/water heater combo, as well as a water softener. They finished in a few hours. They were courteous, respectful, clean, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right, and that we were completely satisfied. They even fixed a few other annoyances caused by the previous plumber in the house. By that evening, the new boiler was registering an error code. I called Randy to let him know. He didn't even hesitate. CJ was there within 20 minutes to take care of it. The following morning Randy showed up to check it again. It was determined that the unit had been damaged in transit, and would have to be replaced. They started immediately making that happen, and within about 3 hours they had replaced the defective unit with a new one, at no additional cost or hassle to us. We finally have reliable heat! Randy and CJ have been back a few times in the last week to make sure everything is running as it should. I have NEVER worked with someone in the trades who is so conscientious, and so determined to make sure everything is perfect. Truly. I cannot even begin to describe how happy I am with their work, their professionalism, their knowledge, and their sincere concern for our family. Thanks guys! We have used Mission Plumbing in the past for several plumbing issues. But when they tripled their…read moreprices and we couldn't reach them with questions or concerns, we had to find someone else. We hired a company to come out and flush our tankless hot water tank. They told us that the water softener that Mission Plumbing installed was installed wrong. The input and the output hoses were installed wrong, and we whould not be getting any soft water at all. We were also told that the water softener was too small for the size of our homr (4800 SF), and that the beads that we were seeing on the floor when it was installed is coming from the water softener. So we had to have another company take out the old water softener and plumb it correctly. I would not recommend this company to do your plumbing. They are not worth the high price, the work is not good, and the value is questionable at best.
