First off. When I called to have him come out and snake my tub so it would drain he offered to walk me through fixing the issue myself. That right there deserved 5 stars in my opinion. Then a week later when I wasn't satisfied with the job I did and needed a professional to handle it he was available, quick and was less expensive than any other company I called. While he was out I had him take a look at my other shower that I have had two different people look at and couldn't figure out why it was leaking. Dana replaced four angle stops and a gas line valve that was leaky. The Gas Company patched the valve but couldn't fix the the valve. However, Dana was able to work his magic on the 26 year-old pipes. He is personable and honest, even giving me advice on how to maintain the valves and how to unclog a sink (without calling a plumber) -- he's like a YouTube video of information. You can tell he really knows his stuff and likes his work. He charges per job and makes a point that if the work takes a lot longer than expected (because of unforeseen problems), he will still honor his original pricing. He also does handyman stuff too. I get the idea that he only accepts jobs that he knows for sure he can do really well with 100% quality. I like that authenticity. read more

Our kitchen faucet broke on Saturday night; we called several plumbers and received no replies. While most plumbers were trying to charge me just to walk through the door, Dana was willing to come by and give me a free estimate. I just used Prime Plumbing for the third time was even more impressed.....if that was even possible. I'm in the OC so it's super important I find a plumber who is trustworthy and honest being that I can't always get out to Murriets to supervise the work. Prime was out within 24 hours to fix an old, leaking water heater. Moreover Dana called several times throughout the process to let me know how it was going and even sent some pictures of the damage before starting any of the rehab. This company should be ashamed of themselves. They were sent to our rental house by American Homeshield. My husband specifically asked the dispatcher at Prime if they handled septic issues. The dispatcher said they would send someone right away. The plumber got to the rental property and was rude to the tenant. He told the tenant he doesn't deal with septic issues and proceeded to get back into his truck. Since we were working with AHS and our insurance company, we needed some questions answered by the plumber regarding the septic issue. Anyway, the plumber drives off and we get charged for the service call. To make matters worse, my husband gets a phone call from a septic company saying "oh we heard you had septic problems and you want to go with us and not your insurance company". My husband asked the person over the phone "how did you get my phone number". They told him the Prime plumber gave them the phone number in order to "help a buddy out". So not only did prime not fix the issue, they solicited my husband's phone number. This company employs a bunch of asshats. read more

He came out same day checked my water pressure, replaced a faulty water regulator and offered the most affordable price on a replacement water heater. Dana fixed all the plumbing issues I had with my rental property in a timely manner, he was honest and worked around my budget.

We had a leak in the kitchen ceiling and called 4 companies to come out and give us a quote. One talked about $30 k + repair, another $5k+ and so on. Dana and his team were the last to come out and after actually assessing the problem and looking for the source of the problem gave a range of $700 - $1500. He completed the job beautifully plus made other minor repairs for $720. He was very professional, honest, and friendly. I can't tell you how incredibly impressed I am with Dana, who came out today, after 2 other "highly rated" plumbing companies had told me I needed to replace my garbage disposal. Dana and co. are awesome, honest guys who do great work at very reasonable rates. I've used their services on two occasions. Once, while replacing a faucet on my own, I ended up breaking a stuck valve under the sink. After repeated failed attempts at replacing the valve on my own, Dana showed up and made quick work of it and even charged me less than I'm sure he quoted me on the phone. Next, I didn't want to attempt the kitchen faucet upgrade, so I sent a text of what I had and what I was going to replace it with. Dana quickly told me that what I bought was incompatible, so I returned it and got what would fit. When they arrived, they also made seemingly quick work of a complicated job in a confined space, then continued on to repair/replace a broken hot water cartridge in my master bath.
