We had been dealing with recurring plumbing leaks for a couple of years. What started as a small…read morepinhole leak in one of our copper water lines eventually turned into multiple leaks in different areas of our home. After having two different plumbing companies recommend repiping the entire house at a significant cost, we decided to continue making repairs as needed. After our third leak, we realized that continuing to spend thousands of dollars on temporary repairs simply wasn't a practical long-term solution. We needed to find a plumbing company we could trust to give us an honest assessment and a permanent solution. That's when we called Winder Plumbing. From the moment Dan arrived, we could tell there was a difference. He was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about helping us rather than simply trying to make a sale. He quickly assessed the situation and performed a leak detection test to accurately confirm the location of the leak. I really appreciated that the leak detection was clearly explained as a separate service, with the cost credited toward the plumbing work if we chose to move forward with him. Dan gave us options instead of pressuring us into one particular solution. He explained that he could simply reroute the section where the leak occurred, but he also explained that, given the age of our copper piping, there was a reasonable possibility that additional leaks could occur elsewhere. He gave us the option of addressing only the current problem or rerouting the plumbing throughout the house. After getting multiple quotes, we were genuinely surprised to find that Dan's quote to reroute the entire house was actually the most affordable option we had received and it included repairing the drywall afterward. What impressed me most was that Dan went above and beyond and even took care of some additional work for us at no extra charge. That kind of service is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Dan was honest, knowledgeable, fair, and truly focused on helping us solve the problem the right way. If you're dealing with plumbing problems, especially recurring leaks, do yourself a favor and call Winder Plumbing. I highly recommend Dan and his team. You've definitely gained a loyal customer, Dan. Thank you for taking care of us and treating us right!

There are not enough words to describe the positive experience we had with Daniel of Winder…read morePlumbing. After having more than one conversation with other plumbing companies, having multiple estimates describing our master bathroom shower leak issue as a really, really big job? One that would cost us a few thousands dollars! One that would required cutting into our walls and us then hiring a dry wall professional to fix it later! We literally felt defeated. So my wife and I did what comes natural to us, we prayed about it, and had one more call to make before making a final decision. A very early message was sent on a Tuesday to Winder Plumbing, the response was immediate requesting simple pictures of our shower. An offer for same day service was made, we opted for Thursday instead. Bright and early Thursday morning Daniel from Winder Plumbing messaged he was in route with several parts and he was positive one would take care of our leaking shower. Daniel was correct ! He is a true professional; talented and most importantly honest. Daniel explained what he needed to do (replacement of cartridge and valve) and it would not be thousands of dollars? To add, it would not require cutting into our wall. No way!!! Daniel is the perfect example of where preparation and professionalism meet. He executed the work at our home quickly and efficiently. Bottom line cost? $420!!!!!!! Wow! We are very thankful for Winder Plumbing. Knowing honest people and companies still exist is truly a blessing. Thank you thank you thank you! 10 stars!!!

The technicians were unable to finish the job on the scheduled date. They set a date they would come back to finish. That day came and no one showed up. No communication or notice. I had to call to find out what was going on. The office manager told me that they would not be coming that day to finish because they had scheduled another job for that day and that was taking priority. The earliest they could reschedule was another two days out. We never agreed to any change in schedule.Totally unacceptable! After the technician returned to finish, there was a small change in the scope of work that increased the price by around 10%. We agreed this was OK. We told the technician to have the invoice for the additional work emailed and we would pay it ASAP. We had already paid the original estimate for the whole job. The very next day we got a phone call from the office manager asking if we had received the invoice and had paid it. I replied we had not received it, send it again and we would pay it. The next day we get another phone call asking again about the invoice receipt and asking for payment. We replied we had received the invoice and it was scheduled to be paid by check immediately by our accounting dept. We were then told that this was not acceptable and that we were expected to pay upon demand. Considering the unprofessional treatment we had already experienced in having the job delayed, to be harrased for payment is absurd. We will never use this company again!

I recently had them out to service my home, and without a doubt, Jorge Martinez and Jose Franquez provided the absolute best customer service and overall experience I have ever received from any home services company. Jorge Martinez handled our AC repair with exceptional skill and professionalism. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, and had our cooling running efficiently in no time. Jose Franquez was our plumbing technician and was equally phenomenal. He was incredibly thorough, respectful of our home, and fixed our plumbing needs with top-tier craftsmanship and attention to detail. Both Jorge and Jose were prompt, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of properly. It is rare to find technicians who take this much pride in their work and truly care about the homeowner's experience. PDS Air & Plumbing has earned a customer for life--ask for Jorge and Jose! And Even after all of that they gave me a Token of Appreciation for my serving my country as a Marine

I called them because my AC…read morewas not working during a very hot week, and I have children in the house, so getting the system running again was extremely important. Their technician came out, diagnosed the problem, and told me that my transformer and capacitor needed to be replaced. I was quoted approximately $1,155 for the repair. I understand that companies have overhead, technicians need to be paid, and businesses need to make a profit. I have absolutely no problem paying a fair price for professional work. But in my opinion, this quote was outrageous. What bothered me even more was that the technician told me the parts for my AC unit were backordered, making it seem like they were difficult to get. That turned out not to be true in my experience. I was able to locate and purchase the parts myself that very same day. So I honestly don't understand why I was told they were backordered when I had no problem getting them immediately from a local supplier. I'm pretty handy myself, so instead of agreeing to the repair, I decided to purchase the transformer and capacitor myself. As shown in my receipts, I paid less than $80 total for the parts. One receipt shows $32.61 for the transformer, and the other shows $42.40 for the capacitor -- $75.01 total. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that replacing those parts did NOT fix my AC. After doing additional troubleshooting myself, I discovered that the actual issue involved the low-voltage circuit. I eventually tracked down the problem myself and got my AC running again. So not only was I quoted over $1,100 for a repair involving parts that cost me about $75, but I was also told those parts were backordered when I was able to purchase them the same day, and after replacing them, the AC still didn't work because that wasn't the actual problem. I understand there is much more to a professional service call than the cost of parts. You're paying for labor, experience, insurance, vehicles, overhead, and a company standing behind its work. But there is still a point where pricing feels excessive, especially when the proposed repair does not address the actual problem. What really disappoints me is that when someone calls an HVAC company during extremely hot weather, especially when they explain that they have children in the home and need their AC working, they are relying on that company to give them an accurate diagnosis and a reasonable repair option. In my experience, that is not what happened here. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend PDS Plumbing & Air. I strongly encourage homeowners to get a second opinion and compare pricing before approving an expensive HVAC repair. I'm attaching my receipts as proof of what I actually paid for the parts. The transformer and capacitor together cost me $75.01, and I was able to purchase them the same day despite being told the parts were backordered. I'm glad I was ultimately able to troubleshoot the low-voltage issue myself and get the AC running for my family, but I shouldn't have had to diagnose the actual problem myself after receiving a professional service call and being presented with a $1,155 repair quote.
