Frankly, I cannot fully attest to the service of the owner. However I can say when I went in for a ring repair, the owner did not speak nor acknowledge me the entire time. I started walking around and looking at different pieces hoping to get a hello, or I will be with you shortly but nothing. I overall felt very unwelcome in the shop. I was given a bid of $700 in Rockwall, to re-tip & replace a diamond chip (which I had) in my gold nugget wedding ring. I was going to pawn the ring, & apply the payout to a new ring. I had gone to several jewelers in McKinney to have a stone replaced in my very old College Class ring. I purchased a Moissanite gem (Silicon Carbide, man made, but the only stone close to a diamond, and better in color) from the web to replace it. My old diamond had a flaw and finally broke. It had chipped because of the flaw in it when I got it. The first 3 jewelers I tried either didn't want to do it, (saying it was too hard to do), or they wanted $$$ to do the job. Prices are fair, the owner has decades of experience, the work is more often than not completed the same day, and is always done beyond my expectations. I've had stones set at other places before and gotten rings back with prongs that weren't well rounded or with rhodium plating that didn't fully cover all areas, etc. You can't take the chance of a prong catching on clothing and losing a valuable diamond or other stone. Grace does wonderful work at a good price. I went in with a Pandora charm that I needed to find a way to put on my chain link charm bracelet without looking weird. She fixed it right up so it looks terrific. She also soldered my individual charms to the charm bracelet so that I no longer have to worry about any of them falling off. And though that was all that I had asked her to do she took them all off and fixed the haphazard way I had put them on the bracelet over the years and reattached them before she soldered them so that they were all hanging evenly and uniformly and it just looks so much better than when I gave it to her.
