Thank you for your response, Dr. Lazar. For transparency: a few weeks after this review, your office mailed me a $135 bill along with a letter containing a similar explanation, ending with: "as a courtesy, we will waive the $135 consultation fee". If I removed my Yelp review "ASAP." I have no problem being billed, and I am mailing payment of the full $135. I also have no issue with my insurance denying the claim because I declined additional X-rays. My concern now is your office's choice to condition the waiver on deleting my honest review. I stand by my original honest experience. Conditioning a fee waiver on deleting a patient review is not allowed under California law (Civil Code § 1670.8) and federal FTC rules. I have reported the matter to the Dental Board of California, the FTC, and the CA Attorney General. Extortion is not a good business practice. I don't trust any of your reviews or business practices to be honest and trustworthy, now that you've decided to proceed this way. read more

Had my very first root canal done today. I was very anxious believing that the procedure would be painful, which is what I was made to believe by family and friends. What an incredibly pleasant surprise to have felt absolutely no pain and no discomfort! This was the best root canal experience I've ever had. Dr. Lazar took his time with the root canal and was very thorough making sure he got all of the infection out. My teeth are very sensitive to cold water and that's usually the worst part for me but it didn't hurt at all during the procedure. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had to call them a few times to reschedule and they were able to work with me. It's also very nice that they aren't so overbooked like other dental offices where the doctor is rushing. They were able to take their time. It's always scary going to a new dentist for a root canal etc because you don't know what you're going to get but Dr. Lazar is fantastic. read more

I am every dentists worst nightmare. I ask countless questions during procedures and really test their patience. That being said, Dr. Lazar passed with flying colors. He is friendly, honest, and good at what he does. I have had two root canals done by Dr. Lazar (for over 9 months now) and could not be happier from the results. I also liked the way he connects with patients and takes time out of his evenings to call and check up on the patients-my orthodontist never did anything like that in the four years I went to him. I had a previous root canal done several years ago by a dentist other than my current dentist, go bad and my dentist recommended Prime Endodontics and Dr. Lazar to retreat the bad root canal. He and all of his staff we're very friendly, professional and everyone was excellent at their job.
